These are the things not mentioned in the patch notes. Because everyone loves hidden nerfs and changes, right?
Note: This is all found via datamining the changes between live servers and the PTR. It is not a full list of stealth changes. There are a LOT of changes that I either didn't look at (crafting recipes for example, which are too large to view via browser), that are not easily understandable, or that I may have simply missed when skimming through the files.
#Greataxe Changes to the Executioner Greataxe quest.
Reap: Damage decreased from 110% to 70%.
Gravity Well can possibly no longer crit (CanCrit: Null to False; unsure if null means it could crit before).
Haste from Blood Lust reduced from 30% to 20%.
#Bow Blood Soaked Arrow damage reduced from 57.5% to 50% (possibly a bug fix as the tooltip said 50%).
#Warhammer Path of Destiny stun reduced by 66% (HitStun 30 -> 10).
Path of Destiny now gives the same stun regardless of crit/block. (BlockHitStun 25 -> 10, CritHitStun 35 -> 10).
Path of Destiny possibly no longer gets backstab bonus (NoBackStab: Null -> True; I'm unsure if null means it could or could not).
Path of Destiny no longer causes camera shake.
Clear Out's fortify buff is reduced.
Perks related to rend on shockwave are nerfed.

Ice Storm Freeze base cooldown reduced from 7s to 6s and tickrate from 10 to 7.
Entombed light attack break mana cost reduced from 20 to 10.

Powder Burn duration increased from 15 to 20.

Each skill has a different amount of exp required. Armoring, for example, requires 1,764,000 for the full reward (a box that can have various legendary patterns). The 2 sub-rewards (at 33% and 66% exp) each give 1 suspended vial of azoth (that's it, no other possible reward).
Also note that not all trade skills have unique rewards. For example, cooking and jewelcrafting only get a single vial of suspend azoth at all 3 reward levels. There are no unique rewards like armoring has. It seems only armoring, weaponsmithing, arcana, furnishing (which has current legendary trophy materials), and engineering have unique drops. The rest have either nothing but vials of azoth or vials and what most people would consider non-pickup greens (e.g. small quartz crystals).

I'm the developer of SC Trade Tools, a trade route finder for Star Citizen. Since the data for the website is extracted from the game's files directly, I can keep SC Trade Tools up-to-date automatically. In addition, I can also give you the Traders' patch notes: all the trading-related changes in this version! *As I'm doing this report by hand, something may slip, but fear not: it's all tool-automated on SC Trade Tools!
Surprisingly enough there are trade-related changes in 3.16! In essence: they patched scrap by changing a few selling locations into buying ones.
On the other hand, there has been no mining changes in 3.16 regarding deposit distribution and composition.
These locations have had their stock changed, be it their buying commodities, selling commodities, inventory or refresh rates.

I'm an academic statistician and recently started data mining the copious UFO reports logged on NUFORC's website. I want to use this data with my students, because I think it will be interesting and fun. But I'm also a UFO neophyte, so I'm very interested in this subs thoughts on my findings thus far.
Goal:
In line with the "do your own research" mantra, I thought it would be interesting to (1) look for patterns and trends in UFO reports and (2) ask whether or not these findings are consistent with various hypotheses (e.g. most reports are mundane; most reports are ETs; most reports are atmospheric phenomena; etc).
Data Set:
I downloaded all of the NUFORC reports from Jan 1990 to Jul 2021. Thus far, I've only looked at monthly and annual counts, but plan to look at the spatial distribution of the data once I have the time to clean it up. Roughly speaking, the number of reports increases from 1990 to the mid 2000s then stays constant for a bit. There's a big spike in reports around 2011 to 2015 and another spike from 2019 to 2020.
One caveat is that we have to consider both what factors will lead to more UFOs in the sky but also what factors will lead to more people submitting NUFORC reports.
Changepoint models:
A changepoint model tries to determine when the number of monthly NUFORC reports changes significantly (increase or decrease). Such a model found the following time periods and average monthly reporting rates. The ** indicate the two biggest peaks in UFO reports.

Annual Periodicity:
There's a strong seasonal trend in reports. Reports peak in July and drop in Jan & Feb. Presumably, this is because nice weather means more people outside where they can witness UFOs. Most NUFORC reports are coming from the USA and secondly from Canada.
Internet Access:
The rise in reports from 1990 to the mid 2000s precisely aligns with the spread of the internet across US households. So my first claim is that more internet access means easier reporting means more reports logged. This doesn't tell us whether or not there were more UFO sighting, but just that there are more reports being submitted. Luckily, internet coverage

Since i use a type 9, i can only use 3 lasers, but usually takes me some time to full att 512 cargo space.
I was considering chaging to a anaconda with less cargo space but with more 2d laser mining.

My mining probability data sheet has been (finally) updated for 3.15.1
Sorry it took a while to get this updated; the XML format has changed so i had to re-write all my scripts and i simply havn't had the time.
I'm still trying to figure out things such as "how many rocks spawn on a planet at a time" etc to get node density.
Consequence of the changes to the XML format, biome data is now easier to identify, so i plan to expand on this to include what spawns in what biomes, though that will no doubt require something a little more complex than a simple table allows. In short, very future project

Recently I've been rummaging through the game files, and first of all I'd just like to point out that there's a whole mess of data. The overall feel is that there's either a lot of remains of old ideas, or that AGS is playing 4D chess and is planning stuff 13 steps ahead (it's probably a little bit of both). For example, did you know that running and exploration used to be skills?

There's a lot of overlapping data that doesn't add up, for example there's a list with mob levels and base health, as well as a list with health multiplier depending on mob type (Solo, Elite, Boss etc.). But when you compare that with the actual health of some mobs it just isn't even close.
So, the following calculations all come from actual game data, but I guess there's a chance I'm not using the current way to calculate health that the game uses for example.
I've combined data from 3 different tables, and have made a number of assumptions and limitations:
So without further ado, here are the top 10 best/worst mobs to kill for experience/gold:
The actual names of the mobs are somewhere else in the game files, I can look them up but it requires manual work for each name (at least for now). For example, "Skeleton_2H_Sword_MSQ_11_Elite" is "Celestial Docent".

Okay, so it took me longer to get to this post than I planned and we had super crops (aka why are we getting so many seed bags and ingredients?) since I collected the data but I chopped some obstacles to compare and it seems this is still good :)
Without further ado, on today's episode of 'I have no life': Small Planters - to dig or not to dig?
To answer this question I did over 500 chops and more than 100 mining actions towards Snow White castle (my last build on main) and Maui's castle (that I was upgrading while working on Prince Frog castle on PC).
My key findings are below. And in case you're keen to data and averages, check the rest of this post.
1. Should I spend energy to chop small obstacles or dig them out?

So, between these 2 options, IMO it's better to upgrade one and build one at the same time.

I'm afraid I couldn't find anything different in the delta from 3.14.1 to 3.15: neither trading, nor mining, changed in 3.15! After all, this is not the economy-pass patch, but the inventory and medical gameplay one. That being said, let's remember that there is now 30K protection and that an important shop inventory bug was fixed late in 3.14.1, which means that trading works as intended on LIVE (i.e. Laranite is still rare, but at least other commodities should be available). Happy farming!

My friend is studying IT. He failed the data mining course because he wasn't wearing a helmet.
