Three Vampires descend upon the British Isles, the entire isle is a vast medieval city populated by humans living out their daily lives, until;

Alucard (Hellsing) pre-Schrodinger arrives, carrying Casull and able to remove his own restrictions as needed.

Dracula (Lords of Shadow) arrives at his prime and carrying the Void sword.

Kain (Legacy of Kain) arrives, post Defiance and wielding the Soul Reaver.

They start off as far away from each-other as possible and may not/will not choose to leave the island. Their goal is to subjugate or devour all those on the Isle and be the last Vampire standing. Incapacitation of an opponent counts for victory over that foe if they are unable to fight/return to strength.

The Vampires know there are two other vampires here to dispute their claim on the island, but know nothing more about their opponents beyond what they can gather through this battle.

All vampires are in character and will fight to the best of their ability.

How would you feel about that as both a short-term or long-term Legacy of Kain fan? Even if you didn’t finish all the games in the series?

Could you give a necessarily partly-unfaithful retelling of the known franchise story events so far the benefit of the doubt if it meant more Leagacy of Kain franchise content that told Kain and Raziel’s story, in one form or another?

Or is the idea of a potential remake or reboot as anything other than a action adventure video-game with lengthy cutscenes a non-starter for you?

There’s a good argument that now might be a good time to commission such a project for television streaming services.

Yes, it would be expensive but it might be a very wise gamble and an experiment that could really pay off if it finds the right audience then blows up in mainstream popularity like Breaking Bad/Game of Thrones/Stranger Things.

With several huge fantasy genre shows in the pipeline and imminently with Netflix’s The Witcher andbCastlevania series, BBC’s His Dark Materials, Amazon Prime Video’s Wheel of Time and Lord of the Rings streaming series all looking to get a piece of that post-Game of Thrones ‘mature fantasy’ pie, and recapture that hit-show magic, how is the fan base currently feeling about live-action fantasy TV in general?

Could a Legacy of Kain TV or even film adaptation have to be computer-animated or Eastern/Western 2D animation style for the prospect to work?

It could you see people costumed up as Kain and Raziel’s engaging in epic philosophical speeches and dialogue? A Raziel who never lost his lower jaw? A smaller-scale iteration of the sets and monsters as the games Or would that suddenly make it feel silly, tacky/low-budget and unbelivable?

It’s sufficiently different in both tone and style to virtually all the other high-budget fantasy TV series going that I think it could stand out the same way the first season of Stranger Things or Dark stood out when they debued. Or the first season of Mr Robot. Or the more measured and mature second season of Castlevania. Soul Reaver stood out or similar reasons in the realm of performance-driven storytelling, production value and imagination/scope, those qualities are no less abundant should the story be repurposed for a more televisual episodic format?

i've only just beaten the second game! lol but im working on 1 and im gonna get to 3 soon! love the combat and the story is actually quiet appealing! to be honest DarkSIders game feels like a mixture of classic Ninja Gaiden and Legacy of Kain lol i loved both those games!!!

I like action-adventure style games, but it's far from one of my favorite genres, mostly because I feel that they are often either too linear, or the characters are too basic, or they focus too much on just action without actually stimulating your brain any.

So I wanted to bring up a game I really enjoyed from the PS1 era: Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver which isn't by any means one of the best action games out there, but it had a big world that while not quite open world, was non-linear enough to give you a sense of space and freedom, and you could explore several places not required for beating the story. Soul Reaver also had complex interesting characters who were not one-dimensional and every character seemed to have some depth and motivation behind them that made them intriguing. Finally, the game also had puzzles that took some thought to figure out. Granted at times they would get frustrating because they were all block puzzles but they were a nice balance between the action-gameplay which also had some puzzle elements to it where you had to use certain objects or the environment to finish off enemies.

So, I am looking for an action adventure game that has the following:

• Characters with depth and detail that are interesting
• A story that doesn't make me wanna mash the skip button
• Non-linear "branching path" world design where I can go off the beaten trail and be rewarded for it.
• Puzzles or similar elements to break up the action.
• If it has puzzles, ones that actually require a bit of thought to figure out.
• Combat that has a bit more to it than just spamming one button.

I use Soul Reaver as the basis for comparison but that doesn't mean I just want another vampire-themed game, it can be any setting just as long as it has that same sort of depth and quality to it.

Age doesn't matter, it can be newer or older.

Both are @ the height of their power w/ only stipulation being that Kain isn't allowed to do weird shit involving souls.

Victory achieved via incap, death, or dismemberment. They know nothing of one another going in. If either party spends more than ten minutes as mist they get points docked.

Is there a way to put am item or spell into the center slot of the quick menu? I have seen that slot occupied by new items and spells, but I have not been able to place anything into it once moved into another slot.

It's been a while since I've last had a poke around with memory addresses in a PlayStation game. I thought I posted my findings here hopefully helping those to find codes with cheat engine searches with some samples.

Kain, the vampire overlord of Nosgoth is thrust into a maelstrom of unknown properties by Azimuth, the overseer and guardian of the Pillar of Dimension. He wakes up in Morannon, and is told that in order to return to Nosgoth, he must defeat a warrior who holds the keys of the Multiverse.

Who is the strongest character he could defeat in this scenario?

-No prep time, BFR or external aid;

-In character, no bloodlust;

-The combatants shall meet in front of the Black Gates, 50 feet apart from each other;

-This is the elder version of Kain, however, he has access to all of his array of spells and equipment from Blood Omen.
