I recently read an article about sayings/superstitions that people follow on the first of the year. Here are three my family and I will be trying out - For dinner we are going to have Black Eyed Peas for luck and coleslaw for money. Any recommendations on how to spice up the peas? (Not sure if spicing them up will impact the spirit of the superstition.) The final saying is around cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry. Supposedly if you do any of these on the first you will have to do that thing every day for the rest of the year. So no laundry for me this Saturday.

So I’ve noticed that I’ve had this glitch for a LONG time but it hasn’t been fixed in any of the patches so far. I have laundry rooms in a lot of my sims’ homes but I’m increasingly frustrated at the fact that I can do ONE LOAD OF LAUNDRY before the system just breaks. Cue clothes in the laundry basket, make my sim put the clothes in the washing machine, click on the washing machine “unload laundry to” or “unload and put down” no option to wash the laundry. Hover over “this load of laundry is: Pristine and Dry” Load it into the dryer “unload & put down” hover over it “this load of laundry is: Used &dry”
Ive manually put the laundry in the washing machine, same result. I made my sim search pockets and not search pockets, same result. I’ve had my sim load up the laundry, same result. I shift + click on BOTH the washing machine and dryer, also the laundry bin, reset object, same result. The ONLY thing that works is buying a whole new washing machine but it’s not freaking worth it because I can use it ONCE before it glitches. Not exactly money well spent.
I really like the laundry aspect and I like my laundry room, I just hate that it glitches like this. It’s been going on for months honestly and I’m sure I’m not the only one to experience this. Sims, please fix this in the next patch.

probably has been ongoing over 1 year.
