I don't want to spoil anything but holy shit it has to be the most violent match in Smash history. These two guys beat the absolutely shit out of each other, and...well like I said I don't want to spoil anything, but let's just say there was a 10-minute break before the next match because of the clean-up.

So where ya been, spelt? Welp first of all I made the terrible decision to move from QLD to VIC just before the pandemic hit. So along with watching Fowler absolutely lose his marbles at anyone who criticized him, I also lost my mind being in the longest lockdown ever. Which seriously, is no joke, and I hope all Victorians are enjoying their new found freedoms whilst acknowledging and recovering from the collective yet completely isolating trauma we went through.
I was off reddit for most of the last two years (could not handle another CoronavirusDownUnder argument) and then when I came back, realised I had no idea what my password was. Yay. And before you ask, no I did not associate it with an email and the only device logged into the old account is RIF which apparently cannot recover my password or let me have an email because fancy tech bullshit.
So speltdifferently2 arises and holy shit do not try to go to the Melbourne thread to get a few sympathetic upvotes. Thanks Brisbane for validating my account (but still fuck you for locking me out of your state).
With that vveerryy long rant out of the way, Last Man Standing is back!
What is LMS?
If like me you are terrible at tipping comps and dread fantasy leagues, then this is the tournament for you!
The premise is simple. Everyone starts off with 3 lives, and in each round you predict just one team to win (e.g. In Round One I might pick the Phoenix because Macarthur might not have a team to field). If your prediction is correct then your life remains, but if you're incorrect then you lose a life. Get three predictions wrong and you're eliminated.
Clauses.
- You can only choose one team a maximum of 3 times.
- You cannot predict a draw.
- If your choice results in a draw, you lose a life.
- If you fail to pick a team before the first game of the round, you lose a life.
We previously ran this with five / four picks and two lives. The same rule applies as last time - imma change the rules as many times as I like.

Lucha Underground, direct from the new Lucha Underground Arena in downtown LA, presents S4E11, "Last Man or Machine Standing", airing tonight, Wednesday, 8/22/18, at 8PM ET on El Rey.
Last week, Antonio Cueto opened an invitation to Taya and Johnny Mundo's wedding in his office to start the show. He commented, "it'll never last." Kobra Moon entered the office, and demanded a Trios Championship match for her tribe. It took some convincing, but Antonio eventually gave her the match.
Paul London asked Antonio Cueto for a chance at retribution against Matanza. Antonio took him up on it, announcing Saltador would be the next sacrifice to the Gods. Matanza made quick work of Saltador, defeating and sacrificing him.
Backstage, Killshot confronted Son of Havoc and The Mack. He told them he had a match for the Gift of the Gods. Killshot and Son of Havoc were not pleased, since the three still had to defend their Trios Championships.
The Gift of the Gods match was next. El Dragon Azteca Jr. barely defeated Killshot. Very close 3. After the match, Killshot left ringside angry.
On top of the Temple, Drago said good bye to Aerostar. He said he didn't believe he still deserved Aerostar's friendship. Drago wasn't sure if they'd meet again, but after he vanished in a fireball Aerostar said "I am."
The main event was for the Lucha Underground Trios Championship and saw The Reptile Tribe, represented by Kobra Moon, Jeremiah Snake and Daga face the champs - Killshot, Son of Havoc and The Mack. The Trios Championship match started off as three-on-two due to Killshot's absence after his failed Gift of the Gods opportunity earlier in the night. He showed up later in the match. Son of Havoc accidentally hit Killshot. Killshot responded by attacking Son of Havoc and costing him and his partners the Trios Championships.
After the match, Killshot laughed at and attacked Son of Havoc in the ring, blaming him for their loss. The Mack was not pleased about Killshot's behavior; he tended to Son of Havoc while Killshot left to a chorus of boos.
Cage came to the ring and cut a promo, but he was interrupted by Pentagon Dark kicking him in the face. Pentagon attacked a guy in the crowd and a member of the band standing in his way of assaulting Cage, who himself took care of a meddling security gua

Our close friends wanted to go and I'll be honest was excited to go to another show again. We made it fun but man the show itself was terrible.
Not sure how it looked on tv but I took notice of the crowd and so many people lost interest. During the fatal four way match, the crowd was cheering "this is awful" and even the very front row next to the ring got up and left...yes the entire front row which I doubt showed on tv.
Not to mention how many 2 min matches there were.
After watching the last AEW show on Saturday and then to watch this was an embarrassment.

This is storyline bosses only, as most optional superbosses are not as powerful lore-wise as the storyline bosses themselves, they're simply meant to be fun challenges.
A couple stipulations before the fight begins:

Any bosses who have specific immunities such as "Can only be killed by Warriors of Light and Dark" or "Must be killed with XXXXX weapon" are now able to be killed by the other bosses as if they didnt have such immunities. Otherwise Cloud of Darkness would just clean sweep everyone by being literally immortal and unkillable. EVERYONE can die.

Any bosses such as Sephiroth who draw their power from a source unique to their own world are as strong as they would be on that world.

In the case of FFX's bosses, both Sin and Braska's Final Aeon are in the fight, but they are not on the same side. Yu Yevon is not present.

The planet is indestructible. Combatants cannot leave orbit and cannot destroy the planet itself. The landscape can be changed, but say if someone were to fire a Death Star laser at the world the battle takes place on, the laser would only penetrate a mile under the surface before reaching an unbreakable 'layer' that permeates the planet. This allows for minor terrain changes without being able to literally break the planet in half.

All combatants are bloodlusted and are actively trying to kill the others. There will be no teaming up between bosses, this is a pure every man for himself cage match.
Round 1: All bosses are within a 5 mile radius of one another on an open plain. Fight is a pure brawl where everyone has it out with everyone else at once.
Round 2: All fighters are scattered across the world randomly. They each begin to seek the others out and a sort of elimination match style of combat begins where every boss will meet another boss randomly and fight them 1v1 before moving on to find another opponent. Who is most likely to be last boss standing?
Round 3: All fighters are scattered across the world randomly. Fighters who have minions or servants from their respective games, including other bosses, are now allowed to bring them along as backup. Those who rule empires such as the Emperor from Final Fantasy 2 have their entire army with them, and so on. Who conquers the world?
Bonus Round: ALL killable storyline bosses from Final Fantasy are thrown into the death battle. This only includes the bosses who are capable of being killed by the player, so Kekfa wont have 3-4 copies of himself runn
