A list of puns related to "Landing Zone Uplift"
I think one of the things that is missing (and surely will be implemented at some point) are the social
competitive and cooperative things we expect when we have down time. We currently have drinking in the game, and race betting is EVENTUALLY (fingers crossed) going to be implemented, starting with GrimHEX. We already have a playable chess board on the Star Runner, and two ships (The Carrack and the 600i) feature billiards tables that are currently unusable. Every single R&R bar has an arcade with non-playable games, and there's the foundation and capability to have a ridiculous amount of interactive and fun activities to do during down time.
I'll drop a list of a few (many) things and see how it bodes with everybody:
Slot machines at R&Rs, working billiards, dedicated golf center, arcade machines with functional leaderboards and possibly competitive links, AR games that can be played between party members (think horde mode on a station where all of the enemies are in VR and you use something like the WOW Blast to shoot AR "lasers", as well as many others like drone shooting competitions and AR guided foot races, really the possibilities are limitless and it can be a HUGE source of user generated content), basketball minigames like HORSE, and really any other physics based or board game you can think of
Yes, we all know the game isn't finished, but I think implementing this stuff at some point, even if it's just having one guy work on it for a year or two, would be a boon to the game's immersion and mainstay factor in keeping people around after they get bored of the game loops.
Hello,
Iβm joining a new cloud project where most of the landing zone on Azure has been created manually through the portal, or with some Powershell scripts glued appart. Also, there is not currently a real dev env for the infra part (the hub is production).
My ambition is to be able to reverse engineer the existing infrastructure into IaC. Iβm pretty familiar with Terraform that I use regularly, but it seems to me that using Azure Bicep would make the process easier? Iβm hesitant between the two, as I do not know if Biceps is mature enough.
If anyone of you has already undertaken a similar task, I would be glad for any tips, tools or advice regarding it.
Thank you!
Iβm getting more and more frustrated with my Cutles Black. It feels like flying a brick.
25% wasted fuel alone for leaving crusader. I didnβt compare it to other zones but I feel like the time to exit the atmosphere takes noticeably longer.
Europa got a second one like half a year after it's release meanwhile Dreaming City hasn't had addional ones years after release.
Can you pretty please at least gives us 2 more zones that are both located at Petra so we can land next to her when she changes locations? While you're at that, why not also add her in the companion app so we can buy bounties at her with our phone? She's the only vendor missing, even the Quest Archive is in there.
Last night I was playing with my friend who just got the game. We were having a good time, but then he died and kept getting spawn killed by a Redeemer at everus harbor. I was in my MSR heading to pick him up, but obviously couldn't take out the bad guy in that ship. I was able to sneak around them and got into the armistice zone, but they followed me in and the turrets started shooting them.
I evaded their shots for about 2 minutes while the station turrets did absolutely nothing to them. Eventually I died, and was inside with my friend.
I put out an emergency request to the rest of the server, which I think scared them away.
Later in the night, we were mining and had the exact same thing happen upon leaving ArcL1. Random dude decides to light up two ships for no reason whatsoever. This time I got my own inferno out to take care of him, but alas I lost the fight.
I'm fine with losing fights, but I'm not okay with players having the ability to grief so close to landing zones or stations (outside of grim hex). I do believe you should be able to shoot inside of armistice zones, but you should have consequences for that which means station lasers should be able to take you out within 30 seconds regardless of server integrity. Because of this, I think they need to have at least a few guns there that are hit scan.
Thoughts?
I know it doesn't take that long to run to the hanger but it would be so much more convenient to have a landing zone in this location. As well as it being more convenient it also makes sense that you would land your ship in a hanger. Please consider upvoting so this reaches Bungie.
I've just used wooden cutting boards to toss them on and then cut em. But my pizzas are outgrowing the boards.
Title.
Anyone else run into the issue of having to clear nonexistent enemies at outpost terminus?
What are some of the pros and cons of each?
Did you choose it for feel or aesthetic?
Or simply for ease of access?
Bungie why do we have landing zones everywhere but the one place that makes sense⦠THE HANGAR!?!?! I hate walking so far just for a passage.

CIG needs to add a beacon to the Landing Zone on Orison shining purple light into the sky and ground below to be it easier for people to spot the landing zone
