I bought house and land package back in March. The agent told me expected land registration date was in June-July.
Now itβs almost end of September and no news. My solicitor is sick of my land registration date inquiries and she promised sheβll forward it as soon as sheβs received the notice.
So my question is there any other way to get land registration status? Can I contact the council directly? Can I inquire from NSW land registry, etc?
I hope the title is clear.
I'm trying to fill out a declaration form. I'm traveling from the West Bank into Jordan to catch a flight out of Amman. Whenever I fill it out, it keeps telling me "Registration is full, please try again later". I've tried calling the customer care number but they kept me on hold.
I suspect there will be a good deal on a lake front 5000 sq/ft home in Venetian Estates come Wednesday.

We run a foundation that purchases Amazon rainforest in Ecuador and protect it by getting the land a legally acknowledged protected status. However it is a huge mess, there is a lot of corruption and land registration is extremely difficult and expensive. I have often read that blockchain could improve land registration and ownership. Any thoughts?
Hi LegalAdviceUK - I'm not very used to using reddit but I hope you can help me very much with my solicitor.
I am in England and have been trying to purchase a flat with no chain since November. My solicitor is locked in conflict the the vendors solicitor and is not conceding to the point we're very close to jeopardising the purchase altogether.
The flat has a land registry restriction place upon it by a party (P) who was a representative of the building next door (L) who own a path to the property I am trying to buy. It is a minor path to which access is inconsequential whether we had right to use it or not.
This is where the conflict is occurring... My solicitor says that the only party who can give us a certificate to comply with the restriction are (P). (P) have since dissolved and we are trying to obtain a certificate from the company with took them over but without success. We are not confident in obtaining the certificate from them.
The owner of our building (D) and the managing company (A) say they are both authorised to produce a certificate on behalf of (P) since (P) is no longer associated with the development and have done so for many years for all other purchases. My solicitor says neither (D) nor (A) have authority to say they can do this for (P). However, the land registry document for the building next door (L) has an item in their charges which says that this responsibility has been granted to (D) in 2003. We have a letter from (D) also stating that.
Despite (L), (D), (A), the vendors and their solicitors saying otherwise my solicitor is not conceeding this point and says we either get a certificate from (P) or that's it. I'd like to know who's right here and how we can proceed. I'm currently losing sleep over this.
