My Latin teacher assigned me a certain section of Cicero's De Amicitia to read through and pick out some interesting uses of Latin. From what I've read, it seems like the Romans did not have much philosophical tradition of their own and instead borrowed many ideas from the Greeks in that regard. I assume that this also resulted in Romans taking philosophical terms and "Latinizing" them into their own language. However, I'm having some trouble finding which specific words in the section of De Amicitia I was assigned originally came from Greek. Can someone help me out with this? Any other interesting Latin you can tell me about would also be super helpful.

Amicitia on Omega EU is looking for new people to join us and build a lasting close-knit community.
Who we are
We are an FC consisting currently of a few friends, some who have played FFXIV extensively, some of whom are relatively new, who are looking to create a small community to learn, grow, and make genuine friendships. Indeed, Amicitia is Latin for friendship!
Some of us have previously played other MMOs together, mostly World of Warcraft. However, we have since fallen in love with FFXIV and wish to share our love of this game with others. We feel that with the arrival of Endwalker, this is the perfect time to do so.
Many Free Companies in game have 100 + people. We know this can be overwhelming, so we aim to keep the community relatively small and personal (we estimate around 20 people). We believe this will allow friendships to flourish while not being disorientating for our members, especially newer players.
Who we are looking for
This is the perfect time to join a small FC. With Endwalker on the horizon, it brings opportunities to do new content together. We are looking for players who, regardless of experience, would like somewhere to meet people and enjoy aspects of the game that we might not do alone. We want open-minded people who wish to build a community with us and preferably take part in activities. However, we totally understand if any recruits are shy. We will do everything we can to make you feel welcome, without pressure and obligation.
While we have already done dungeons together, we would love to expand our activities to other fun things, such as:
- Gold Saucer Activities (E.g., Chocobo Racing)
- Maps
- Palace of the Dead/Heaven on High
- Possibly trials/raids when we have enough people and if people want to
- Alt Job leveling
- Whatever Endwalker brings!
What you can expect from us:
- A small and personal FC that will not become giant.
- A safe environment where diversity and inclusion are celebrated. Discrimination in any way shape or form will not be tolerated.
- Support from people who are experienced. We will try to answer any questions newer players have.
- The option to do group content with people that you might otherwise not want to do alone
- A place to make new friends.
- No obligations. If you need to take some time away, go ahead and do that. We all lead busy lives.
