Le soir pendant les insomnies j’entends mon voisin cracher ses poumons et ça rajoute a l’ambiance.

Donc voilà, même si in fine c’est une goutte d’eau dans l’incendie, j’essaye de faire ma part, aussi dérisoire soit-elle. J’aurais mon rappel jeudi, mais même après je continue mon confinement individuel.

Hello Reddit! Forgive me as I am new to the online community. Just wanted to tell my story and maybe get some input. I [37F] accidentally found out last month my husband [38M] was using 'work trips' as an excuse to sleep with his also married coworker who lives across the country. When I say accidentally; he sent me a screen shot of Amazon purchases for our children and included at the bottom of the photo was a delivery to this woman. So yes, the worried wife in me checked his search history and email. It was all right there! I learned his November trip was a romantic getaway but this current one is luxurious! A spa resort complete with couples massages, couples cooking classes and monogramed bathrobes from etsy. He mailed her a box of gifts a few days ago for Christmas (how sweet), he purchases sexy lingerie, sent her money on venmo and even started planning a January trip to Las Vegas. I was furious when I learn all this but I kept my composure.

My plan: He left this morning for his 'work trip' but before he left I gathered all evidence of his affair. I spent 4 weeks collecting emails, credit card statements, reservations and confirmations. I wrote him a 10 page letter, put it in an envelope and taped it inside the lining of his suitcase. I plan on sending a group text to him and his mistress right after check in telling them to enjoy their trip. I will also inform them that a letter is in his suitcase and that I want a divorce. I wrote a special section just for her and I want to make sure she sees it so I will be emailing her the letter as well.

He is currently in the air. My group text goes out this evening. Stay tuned...

His flight landed 1 1/2 hours ago. He told me he would text me when he landed and he has yet to do so. I have text him twice, they were delivered but not read. I

I've always had the suspicion that terrain modifiers in Europa Universalis 4 aren't nearly as important as they were historically. But that was just my opinion so I tested it to make sure using the "scientific method" (very leniently). So here it goes:

1.) Observation: I can ignore the terrain penalties, at least in singleplayer mode

2.) Hypothesis: Terrain penalties aren't very significant

3.) Prediction: If the hypothesis is true, luck will be more important than tactics

4.) Experiment: I created two identical custom nations that both had the required provinces – grasslands on both sides for the control samples and a grasslands-mountains connection for the test itself.

Neither nation had any combat modifiers and both had the same 4 inf + 2 cav army composition with no general. I gave both 5000 ducats and turned off the AI so that it wouldn't interfere. Then I moved their armies to the grasslands next to each other, waited a little for the morale meter to fill up and then declared war with the 'Humiliate Rival' casus belli. (Note: it gave a very small (+0.03) morale boost for the attacking side but I found it too insignificant to consider.)

After that I created a save file and attacked. I reloaded the save file and repeated the attack 15 times. After this was done I reloaded an earlier save (before the war declaration), moved the armies to the grasslands-mountains border, waited again, declared war again, made a new save and repeated the attack 15 times same as before. I recorded the losses of both sides in a spreadsheet and counted the times the attacker won the battle. The results are:

a) Attacker's stats:

• grasslands: 2511.2 casualties on average, 5 battles won
• mountains: 2568.13 casualties on average, 5 battles won

d) Defender's stats:

• grasslands: 2180 casualties on average
• mountains: 1857 casualties on average

Further observations: there were battles where the attacker suffered significantly more and the defender significantly less casualties, even though most of the time there wasn't much difference between the two terrain types. Other than that the sample size of 15+15 battles proved to be less than what we need to determine exactly how much the terrain penalties matter. (As in percentage-wise, right now the standard deviation of the results is too large for that.)

5. Analysis: The dice that's used to determine the base damage ("pips") in the phases of the combat sequence has 10

There’s a concert I’ve dying to go to (BTS in LA), but I missed out on tickets when they went on sale because of high demand. I was heartbroken because I had 2nd row floor seats as well as lower bowl seats on the second day to their last tour in San Francisco, but it was cancelled and refunded due to Covid.

I occasionally check Ticketmaster for resale, and they are ridiculously priced and I can’t justify it - $2k floor seats, seats in the lower bowls going for over $1k, $400 nosebleeds etc. But a couple of days ago, I refreshed and found a seat on the floor just a couple of rows back from the stage for $400, which is face value I believe. I SNAPPED it up in a heartbeat & was amazed I was able to check it out. I figured if worse comes to worse and work denied my PTO request, I could resell it and make my money back in a heartbeat.

I made a tweet from my public account about my good fortune and how excited I was to go to the show.

I got a DM from a woman two days later who told me she forgot her ex-boyfriend knew her password to her account from a show they went to together & he sold her ticket out of spite & begged me to transfer it back to her saying she’d give me my money pack, pay my fees & give me $100 on top of it. She was able to show me screen recordings verifying her story. We have a couple of mutual followers & she saw my tweet from someone she follows commenting on my tweet.

I told her that I was sorry for her misfortune & that her boyfriend is a dick, but I had since arranged time off work, booked non refundable hotel room, airport transfer, shuttle bus to the show, pricey last minute round trip flights from Seattle to LA, and planned to keep the Ticket because I’d by this point invested another $1k. I have no interest in going to LA without going to the show (I hate LA, no offence) & would only drop the money to go there for BTS. Even if she offered to cover those expenses, I still want to go.

Ticketmaster assured me that all sales on their verified resale platform are honored, and that I was under no obligation to sell the ticket back.

She thinks I’m being unreasonable. I do feel sorry for her because I know what it is like to have a spiteful AH for an ex, but her lack of planning and locking down her password is not my emergency, and I bought the ticket in good faith.

I live in a big, urban city in California. For some reason my neighbors thought it would be a great fucking idea to build a chicken coop and have five chickens in their backyard. These chickens are the NOISIEST creatures I have ever heard. They only have chickens, not roosters, but they squawk loudly all day and as all the houses are literally right next to each other (again, big urban city), it's basically like having a farm in my backyard from 6am-10pm every day. I think the law in our city allows them to have up to 5 small farm animals, but is there any way around this considering all the noise and disruption they're making?? It literally makes it impossible to sleep in my house when the chickens are awake, and all the other neighbors on our block hate them as well. I'm also open to less-legal ways of removing the chickens (chicken pot pie, anyone?), but figured I might as well start above-board.

• I just looked it up, apparently it's legal to have four chickens but they have FIVE. I also think that their coop is not up to code because it has a mesh front. Unfortunately the chicken ordinance for my city doesn't address noise, but we've been recording them with time stamps to show how loud they are at different times of day, so maybe they're in violation of the overall city ordinance? The Maras also seem content with holding on to former Patriots ST Coach Joe Judge as their locker room leader. If that is the case, it makes sense to bring in somebody Judge is already familiar with in Ziegler, the current Patriots' Director of Player Personnel. The 44-year-old is a Patriot through and through. He was college teammates with Nick Caserio (who he replaced following Caserio's move to Houston) and Josh McDaniels (under whom he was a scout in Denver). He has cut his teeth under Belichick, spending the last 9 years in the scouting department in New England. In his first year without the "assistant" being tagged onto his job title, Ziegler added key free agents in Kendrick Bourne, Matt Judon, and Hunter Henry. He also oversaw one of the best draft classes in recent Patriot history with Mac Jones a favorite to win ROTY on top of inspiring play from Christian Barmore and Rhamondre Stevenson.

In addition to Ziegler, Packers' OL Coach Adam Stenavich joins as the new offensive coordinator. A bit of an unknown name, Stenavich is a former NFL player that has really made the most of his coaching opportunities. With Green Bay, he has overseen a revolving door of elite late round picks at OL, from Corey Linsley to David Bakhtiari to Yosh Nijman. In 2021, the Packers have seen countless injury along the line yet still have maintained an elite unit. Prior to Green Bay, Stenavich was on Shanahan's staff in San Francisco, coaching the likes of Joe Staley, Mike McGlinchey, and Weston Richburg. While Stenavich is unproven as a playcaller, he has worked under two of the best young offensive minds in the game. On top of his promising resume, his area of expertise is one the Giants desperately need help with. Other than Andrew Thomas, the Giants' OL has been an endless pile of poop covered garbage.

Disclaimer: This is NOT a full justin relationship timeline. there are plenty of IG models (Chantel for example) and instances left out due to not being relevant to the timeline I'm covering. My coverage starts with the Jenners & Selenas fall out in 2014. I tried to keep it contained to the Kardashians/Jenners and their close relationships, which have always included Justin, at times Kourtney and Sofia, Hailey of course and by default Selena as well. I am aware I didnt cover everything Justin did, that would be a novel. LOL. And I'm sorry but this might end up being a 4-part series. Its just too messy.

At this point if you've been following along, you know a few things by now:

1. Justin didn't really care about what he was doing to these women he kind of just did what he wanted this entire time
2. Kendall pushed Hailey and Justin together over & over again for two reasons, first was to sabotage Selena's relationship with Justin after what Selena did to her and Kylie in 2014, and second was to try to make her bestie Hailey happy

Now, after preparing and doing research this morning for today's deep dive, I realized I missed something in October. October was a busy month for Bieber LOL. I bolded the new additions below:

My boyfriend (20-something M) and I (20-something F) started off as coworkers in different departments at a small company. We became friends outside of the workplace in October 2020 and started dating mid-November. We keep things professional at work. Everything was wonderful until we had the unfortunate luck of being seen BY NONE OTHER THAN HIS FUCKING MANAGER in the most incriminating, "not-so-casually-dating" place: a local grocery store. We were on a company-wide winter break during this time.

We returned to work in January 2021 and on literally the first day back, my boyfriend's manager pulls him aside and pressures him to "do the right thing" and declare our relationship to HR. Neither of us thought we'd ever be in a situation where we'd be dating a coworker, but here we were. Time to own up. Our relationship was less than 3 months old but we were both driven by a fear of retaliation if we didn't declare.

One tremendously awkward conversation and two-forms-stating-we-wouldn't-exhibit-PDA-or-make-it-weird-for-everyone-else later, we walked out of Ms. HR's office feeling like a weight had been lifted off our shoulders. (Ms. HR is the most-tenured employee at our small company and despite the fact that we outsource ALL of our HR work, she holds a disproportionate amount of power and influence. Office fans: Imagine a scenario where Michael Scott and Toby are friends. Not a great work environment.)

Anyways: We were sorely mistaken.

Grievances include:

• Getting dirty looks from Ms. HR when she catches either of us socializing with other coworkers
• Getting dirty looks from Ms. HR when she sees us together
• Getting dirty looks from Ms. HR when she sees us separately
• Receiving an informal warning that Ms. HR (who unfortunately sits in an office facing the employee parking lot) does not like seeing us leave to take our UNPAID lunch break together
• A time when both of us had one-on-one meetings with our respective managers about "optics" and how "perception is everything"
• Being asked totally inappropriate questions by management, like when we plan to get married and have kids

FINALLY, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: Getting repeatedly shut down for a raise, promotion, and advancement opportunities in general despite a record of high performance and going the extra mile

• My boyfriend confronted his manager earlier this week about a promotion and apparently, his "performance is excellent" and he "exceeds expectations" BUT he is being denied a lead rol

Mi se zice ca starea ei e critica, pt ca a pierdut mult sange și ca sunt rezervati iar la prima vedere pare a fi vorba de o tumora de col uterin.

Interactiunea cu medicii/asistentele de la ATI a fost cât se poate de ok și de omenesc. Fericire a fost pe mine când a doua zi aflu ca a ieșit din coma in timpul noptii și ca e constienta si coopereaza dupa ce medicii au bagat perfuzii cu sange după perfuzii.

O stabilizeaza si este mutata pe sectia de ginecologie unde viata mamei a fost un cosmar, unde nu prea reușeai sa vorbești cu nimen dar unde nici măcar nu ii se acorda sprijinul necesar pt a fi toaletata, fiind aproape imobila si extrem de slabita ii era foarte greu sa facă aproape orice, ii era greu sa tina și telefonul în mana.

După analize și o biopsie avem confirmarea unui cancer de col uterin iar medicul care m-a sunat și mi-a zis de boala, mi-a menționat ca e in stadiu 1 spre 2 și ca sunt sanse foarte mari pt recuperare/vindecare.

2 saptamani în spital și apoi este externata spre surprinderea mea pozitivata covid și cu afectiune pulmonara de aprox 10% și cu necesar de oxigen la domiciliu.

Starea ei nu era deloc de a fi externata dar cu toate astea, au trimis-o acasă intr-o zi de vineri. Sambata și duminica starea ei se inrautatea aparea febra de 39 grade și saturatia continua sa scadă.

Luni chem salvarea, i se face test și se pozitiveaza din nou, este dusa la Bagdasar, acolo totul a fost ok, atât doctorii cât si asistentii/infirmierii. Alte 2 saptamani in spital acolo unde aflu de acolo ca situatia ei cu cancerul e urata, ca e avansat si ca e cu metastaze pe abdomen...

Dupa 2 sap este externata și ajunge acasă intr-o stare mult mai buna decât era când a plecat de la pantelimon.

The evening of February 24th, 1976 was like any other for Michelle Mitchell. First of all, I'm gonna state for the record that the concept of a farmer's league is stupid and greatly diminishes from the talent and competitiveness that may be found in a league. That being said I think it does bring about a greater conversation about the dominance of leagues - as entertaining as it can be to watch a quality relegation fight or a battle for European places 2 or 3 teams going at it for the title is always preferable.

Ok back to the matter at hand. The curious thing about a so-called farmer's league is that there's no generally defined definition for the term - a quick browse of the internet sees multiple similar but still distinctly different suggestions, which is why I'm taking it upon myself to create a formula. From multiple articles and forums, I feel I've boiled it down to 4 definitions that cover all the terms I've seen thrown out:

1) A farmer's league is one where a club or clubs dominate, competing for or winning the league the vast majority of years

2) A farmer's league is one where a club is able to dominate, winning essentially every week due to the weaker quality of opposition they face

3) A farmer's league is one where a club or clubs dominate, due to having significantly greater financial resources than the rest of the league

4) A farmer's league is one where a club or clubs dominate, due to the majority of weaker clubs in the league essentially acting as 'feeder clubs'

So with that in mind, let's create a definition for what each definition entails. I'm going to propose that should a league meet the criteria for 3 of the 4 definition's, it is considered a farmer's league. That may seem a little extreme as the exercise goes on, but my dislike of the term means I want it to be difficult to achieve and reserved just for the *truly* uncompetitive leagues

1) A farmer's league is one where a club or clubs dominate, competing for or winning the league the vast majority of years

This one is pretty easy - we're gonna check the league tables over the last 5 years, which is imo the longest recent period over which a team can be judged without having to consider a significant amount of the playing and coaching staff will have changed and circumstances will no longer be the same. Over those 5 years, if a clear pattern of 1-3 teams dominating every year, then it's a clear sign that league is, by definition 1, a farmer's league. Here are my suggestions for the 3 examples of domination:

In coaching, nothing lasts forever.

In college basketball, North Carolina coach Roy Williams handed the team over to his disciple Hubert Davis after nearly two decades with the Tar Heels. Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski has run his program since 1980, but will finally pass the baton to his apprentice Jon Scheyer next season.

Meanwhile, there's still no succession plan in place in San Antonio, where Gregg Popovich continues to hang on to his power like Logan Roy. He's certainly earned that right to decide when to leave. He's coached the team since 1996, and rattled off 22 straight playoff appearances along the way. He's arguably the best coach of all time.

That said, the end must come sooner or later. (In theory.) After he breaks the record for most wins, there's not much left to prove and there's not much to hang onto. The Spurs are a decent team, but they're a young team. This will likely be the third season year that they'll miss the playoffs, and a title seems a long way away. Popovich will turn 73 years old later this month, so he may not have the patience for a continued rebuild. He's already handed over the reins of Team USA to Steve Kerr, and a plan for his Spurs heir may be next.

It remains to be seen whether that choice is going to come from Popovich or his longtime GM R.C. Buford -- or whether both will ride off into the sunset together. But either way, that next pick is going to be fascinating. And unclear. Possible successors have come and gone, and the answer remains murkier than ever.

In this post, we'll review some potential candidates, including one that may be the most controversial of all.

Over the last decade, the idea of Gregg Popovich's heir apparent has been floated numerous times -- but nothing's stuck yet.

At one point, it seemed like that man may have been Italian Ettore Messina. A legendary coach in Europe, Messina worked as an assistant for the Spurs from 2014-19. Happened this morning. Even though I made a complete and full stop at a 4 way stop, I get pulled over by a police vehicle, lights flashing, the works. I turn my dash cam around to face me and whomever goes in front of the driver side window.

I roll it down and ask "what seems to be the problem officer?" Officer looks at me the way one would look at a sticky piece of gum stuck to the bottom of one's shoe. I adjust one of my hearing aids (lost part of my hearing due to being a touring session musician previously) and before I could speak, he firmly orders "Sir, take off your earphones when I'm talking to you!"

I take both hearing aids off and look at him. I can read lips a little but we're both masked so I can't understand what he's saying. I communicate in sign language simultaneously while speaking verbally "I'm deaf and I didn't understand what you just said. Can you communicate to me in ASL (American Sign Language) please. He points at my hearing aids that look like Apple Air Pods, motioning me to put them on. I respond "Yes officer, without those I can only communicate in ASL. Please instruct me in ASL and I will be compliant in every possible way".

He looks at the dashcam that's neatly pointed squarely at us and mumbles "For fuck's sake". He then motions for me to to go, giving me 2 thumbs up. Needless to say, I rolled up the window and drove away as fast as legally allowed.

After an 8-9 start and a brutal loss to the Celtics, it's safe to say things aren't going well in La La Land. I would argue the team is worse than their record given that 5/8 of their wins have come against teams that are obviously rebuilding (Spurs 2X, Rockets 2X, Cavaliers) while they lost twice to the Thunder and got smoked by the Timberwolves. r/Lakers is a few losses away from devolving into a Lord of the Flies situation, Los Angeles is literally burning to the ground, women hold screaming children to their breasts, Jack Nicholson sobs into his Kobe Mamba Fury's.

But seriously, what, if anything, can fix this team? I was quite vocal before the season that the roster is bad and the front office should feel bad, although I'll admit that Le-GM had a lot to do with the nursing home field trip-I mean off-season roster signings. Westbrook is on the books for 44 million and hasn't been the third star they hoped for. They lost many key role players and the guys they brought back from the 2019-20 team aren't who they were two years ago. The team lacks any semblance of chemistry due to a myriad of injuries (to the oldest team in the league? Shocked Pikachu face) and Vogel constantly shuffling the lineups trying to find something that works. Their defensive rating is a lackluster 108.5 and I don't see it improving given the roster. I no longer have faith that Lebron can make it through the regular season or is capable of salvaging any team like he used to. They've needed herculean efforts from Davis to win in Lebron's absence and he is always an injury risk. Small sample size, but I'm not optimistic that Lebron and Westbrook can coexist together.

My prediction is that Vogel will get canned midseason if this continues even though it's really not his fault IMO. He's not the greatest coach ever, especially offensively, but I think he will be the sacrificial lamb so the FO doesn't have to admit fault. Can't help thinking back to Mike Brown and 2013 on this one.

Can the FO redeem themselves by making midseason roster adjustments? Will health and improved chemistry alone be enough to save this team come playoff time? Are there coaching adjustments Vogel could make? Will u/Juantanamo0227 once again be able to look in the mirror without seeing a hollow shell of a man whose emotional cognizance is but a dark chasm of despair?

Thleekla was a xenologist of some repute.

He'd spent centuries cataloguing and experimenting on strange and wonderful species. He'd studied the Void Angels of the Tarantula nebula, who breathed its diffuse gasses, and grew for millennia beyond counting to reach the size of small planets. He'd studied the Mrin'lok people, smallest of all sapients, who burrowed beneath the surface of their dwarf planet to build amazing crystal cities in the ice. He'd made such a name for himself that he was given his own, one-man research vessel, and a great deal of discretion in choosing what to research, and where to do it.

He'd chosen an out of the way system near the inner rim of the Orion-Cygnus arm. A main sequence star, yellow, hydrogen burning. A few millennia earlier, a standard automated exploration probe had catalogued the system. The third planet out had an abundance of life and liquid water. No attempt had been made to catalogue the life, but no obvious signs of advanced technology were present. That didn't bother Thleekla, he didn't need something advanced, he just wanted something new.

Thleekla's mind dropped into the deep familiar focus that would create a gateway, and his ship slipped through it.

It seemed the residents of the third planet had been making some progress since the probe's visit. There were satellites, even some small manned structures in orbit. Nothing to be concerned about, but that species would probably be the best candidate for his experiments. He scanned the planet, selecting a subject that would not be missed, in an area with low population density.

Thleekla's mind again reached out to form a gateway, this time just a small one. The subject fell unceremoniously into a heap in the test chamber.

It was an ape. Bipedal, mostly hairless. It did have long black hair on the top of its head though. Two forward facing eyes, one nose, one mouth, two mammary glands, slender build. All of its features were oriented directly forward, more or less. Likely a predator. Nothing particularly unusual about it, except for the lack of hair. That was a bit of an anomaly for a mammal. Something to pursue later.

The subject stood and began making some noises. Possibly an auditory communication method, suggesting low or no psionic capability. It moved around the room, investigating the smooth walls.

To make this as simple as possible, I've listed Gina's products below, with the active ingredients (referred to as "actives" below) that she has highlighted on her website.

Blemish Set:

1. Blemish Cleanser:
   1. Salicylic acid: arguably the most common acne treatment in the world, this is typically the Western consumer's first intro to skincare via Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, Biore, etc. I find it strange that Gina doesn't list the percentage amount (1%? 30%? that's a big difference) because that is the smartest way for the consumer to control how many irritants go on their skin at once.
   2. Glycolic acid: a really common exfoliant, but that does not make it gentle. I don't recommend starting with glycolic acid as your first AHA.
   3. Lactic acid: another AHA exfoliant that is usually much gentler than glycolic acid, but they are strong when combined. This combination of AHAs isn't uncommon but it is not for sensitive skin. Again, there is no percentage available to let you know the balance of these ingredients in the wash.
2. Hyaluronic Acid Serum:
   1. Hyaluronic acid: this is purported to be a miracle ingredient for retaining moisture in your skin by every major skincare brand and publication right now. What Gina's website does

As you can see from the title, this will be a rather long story, there is a TLDR at the bottom if you want to skip this all, but hopefully you find this interesting enough to read!

My current save is in the year 2258, my 242nd season in Football Manager 15, the save is over 7 years old, has over 300 days of in game play within it and I have played over 88000 days in game, with only 203 days holiday. And I am still 91 years off the record.

To give some back story into how this save started, I need to go back to FM12, my first FM game. I wanted to start making youtube videos after watching the likes of Jake Cave, TTV2 and ofcourse EvolvingMick1986 if any of you remember them. The problem was, I didn’t know what save to do. So I loaded up FM and recording program on my old laptop and loaded 5 leagues, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland. I decided I would use the “Pick Me” function, which picks a random team for you. I decided I would click it 5 times and do a save with whoever it landed on. You can actually watch the video of me doing this, it’s still up on my Youtube channel as my first ever video if you ever want to watch it.

And so, on the 5th click, a small Welsh club appears, Afan Lido, I had never heard of them before, I’d never even thought of the Welsh League before, but I thought, this could be a good save, let’s see how far I can get with them.

Afan Lido were predicted 12th out of 12, so that my first challenge, avoid relegation. Thankfully, we did and I went on to win the league with them within a few years, my attention turned to Europe. Could we win the Champions League? That’s a good goal, getting a Welsh Premier League Team to win the Champions League.

So for the next 3 FM’s, I attempted to win the Champions League with Afan Lido, and failed each time. It was incredibly difficult to do, due to a number of challenges/bugs that I encountered, such as no one being interested in signing for my club. You could be playing in the Slovakian 2nd tier but apparently 5 time champions league semi-finalists Afan Lido couldn’t match your ambition! Or I would run into one of the overpowered English sides that would always dump me out. The furthest I got was the semi finals of the Champions League in FM14. “Well, yes,” my boyfriend answered in a timid voice. I wasn’t sure if it was the crowd, the cameras, or the outfit, but something had made him a bit more withdrawn than his usual outspoken self.

I knew Elias didn’t see anything wrong with used gifts. His parents had apparently given him used presents, even for birthdays. He talked about an old chemistry set he’d gotten from his father, almost all his clothing came to him ‘used,’ even his shoes were used ‘hand-me-downs.’ I saw his gaze get distant, as if thinking about that very topic, something that I knew was distressing him, and that he couldn’t really handle right now. Not today.

“If someone wants something so badly, they can go buy it themselves.” The boy was technically more dressed, but I couldn’t help but compare visually.

The Shil’ boy was neither weightier, nor nearly so dense with muscle, yet undeniably less defined. His tailor had tried to draw attention to what jawline and cheekbones he did have, with an outfit with little lines of the same fabric as the rest of his attire somehow fastened tight to his skin. It ringed around his collar bones and over his shoulders to highlight all the segmentation between his barely formed muscle groups. Elias’s body by contrast seemed to naturally and effortlessly detail each part of his toned anatomy, making the Shil’ boy seem almost the more crudely dressed by comparison, despite wearing considerably more fabric than Elias.

Current state of play

On Friday, BBIG closed at $2.63 and has been in a downtrend since 14th October when closing at $8.36.

The current total of shares outstanding is 137 million, giving BBIG a market cap of $360 million.

The initial reason for hammering the price down was the pushback of the TYDE dividend record date. Since this point, a further 48 million shares have been added to the outstanding due to warrants being exercised for raising capital. There is also no news of the merger being completed between VINCO VENTURES and ZASH, nor confirmation of the acquisition of ADRIZER. Clearly there is a lot of uncertainty and the hedgies have been playing on this uncertainty to bring the price down to the current levels. I want to address some of the questions that have been raised in the sub over these last weeks linked to the facts above and face these important points head on to clear up any FUD:

When is the TYDE record date?

I don’t know. Nobody does. But it’s really not important.

Why is this not important?

Because as a BBIG HODLer you are already benefiting from owning TYDE. Emmersive Entertainment is under the BBIG umbrella of companies. The proposed spin off from a business perspective would literally decrease the assets from BBIG and be replaced with in the new ticker TYDE. Nothing lost, nothing gained.

I believe the value in this move will be that CRYPTYDE will have it’s own spotlight. At this moment in time, if you asked a random investor if they knew what Emmersive Entertainment was and what they do, the answer will most likely be crickets.

New account. Obvious reason.

Married w/ 3 Adult kids. All employed and moved out. Six months ago, 24-year-old single Daughter asked to move back home for a year to help save for an apartment. We agreed, and charged her only a small rent (that I planned to give back if she met her savings goals).

This past summer, wife and I went on a vacation and daughter, without our knowledge, held a party at the house. Upon return, we noted items in the house damaged or missing. Daughter admitted to what happened and committed to pay for damaged/stolen items.

I was upset and felt the privacy and sanctity of 'my castle' was violated. It made me sick to my stomach that strangers I didn't know were in my house and pilfered through my stuff. I got over it and we moved on. However, I made it very clear to my daughter that NO VISITORS were allowed in our house in the future unless we were present and/or approved in advance.

Fast Forward to the Holidays. After Christmas, wife and I went on a 3-day getaway.

Prior to leaving, I installed a wireless 'nanny-cam' device in the living room that is hooked up to the internet. I did it on my own without advising my wife and daughter - Kind of like a 'Trust-but-Verify' situation.

After a day, I logged into the camera about 9:00 PM and although there wasn't a party going on, my daughter had a guy in the house engaging in an activity I can't unsee. I quickly turned the computer off and told my wife....and then SHTF.

She accused me of violating my daughter's trust and dignity. She immediately called my daughter and advised that I was 'spying' on her - and our mini-getaway devolved into a series of mean-spirited comments and silent treatment. Upon our return home, daughter was in the process of moving out, and without getting into specifics, I'm apparently the equivalent of pond scum.

In my defense, what I saw for all of 5 seconds was not expected on my part. Daughter wasn't in a relationship or even dating. Further, she violated my explicit rule of not having guests over....and there was only a single camera that covered the living room - not an area where there is normally an expectation of privacy.

Although it's embarrassing all around, I don't think ITA. I believe I was within my rights to protect and surveille my house in the manner that I did. Wife's position is that I had no right to put a camera in the living room without her knowledge, and daughter's position is that if she knew about the camera, she wouldn’t have invited

Hello, this is a missing person case that has always intrigued me, partially because it is a case where a child disappears but isn't reported missing until two decades later. Clearly this is a very difficult case, in that no-one knows when or where Nikole disappeared so finding any leads is nigh on impossible.

The facts

There is a very nice article here, that I recommend reading to get an understanding of the full circumstances, but I will also summarize the facts below:

Jarrett (sometimes spelt Jarett? it might just be a typo) Betterson, born circa 1948 (said to be 49 in 1997) had a daughter, Nikole Betterson in 1975?, with Susan Klingel. This was a relationship disapproved by Susan's parents, either due to Jarrett's race or his drug use. Jarrett was black, Susan white, and Nikole therefore mixed race.

When Nikole was two, in 1977 Jarrett crashed the car he was driving. He and Nikole survived. Susan did not.

A few months later he met Barbara Saddler and started a relationshith with her. In December 1977, together they left Michigan with Nikole in search of a new start. Barbara promised the Klingel's (Susan's parents) that she would take care of Nikole as her own daughter.

The Klingel's never saw their granddaughter again. In 1997, when Nikole would have been 22, they decided to try and get in touch with her, believing she was now old enough to make her own decision about whether or not she wanted a relationship with them. They hired a private detective, who swiftly found Barbara and Jarrett, now married, in poverty and ill health, in Las Vegas.

There was no sign of Nikole however.

The P.I. decided to bluff and told Jarrett he knew what had happened to Nikole and that he should just confess now. Jarrett said he needed a few days and then he would tell his side of the story. He never did, however, as he and Barbara committed suicide together shortly afterwards.

Barbara sent a note to Jarrett's mother Joni Betterson (who also hadn't seen the couple in 20 years). In it, she said apologised and claimed that Jarrett was about to go to jail. No mention of Nikole was made.

Further investigation revealed that the couple had continued cashing benefit checks for Nikole until she was 18. But no one had any memory of her living with the Bettersons. In fact, the police have stated that they don't have any evidence that she ever left Michigan.

Takoradi port city and is located in Western Ghana and is the largest city in that region. The city has a lot of hotels and tourist locations along with a profitable oil industry. However, the city would also be home to one of the most infamous crimes in Ghanaian history with some labelling it as unsolved even though the suspects were given a guilty verdict.

On August 17, 2018, Priscilla Blessing Bentum a 21-year-old university student left her home in the company of her uncle to go to her job. Priscilla worked as an attachment at Ghana Cement also known as GHACEM. That same day her father Francis Bentum also went to work and when he was done his shift for the day he noticed that he had missed a call from Priscilla. As he always did whenever he missed a call from his daughter he called her back however, this time he got no response so he tried again only for her to not pick up.

Francis then called his wife who told him that Priscilla had called her and stated that she was done work for the day was one her way home and gave her location as Nkroful Junction which wasn't too far from their home home. Priscilla was also a member of a church band so when Francis returned to find his daughter still yet to come home he decided to call the church to ask if maybe she was practicing however, the church inform him that there was no practice scheduled for that day. As this was unlike Priscilla her parents decided to look around the area to find their daughter even at one point visiting a local hospital incase she ended up suffering some sort of injury.

The next day on August 18, Priscilla was still missing but Francis would soon receive a call from an unknown number Francis's son decided to answer the phone for him and on the other end was an unknown man who claimed to have had Priscilla and stated she was unharmed but refused to let her brother speak to her. He demanded a ransom of 4,500 Ghanaian cedis to be paid. Even though the brother would speak Fanti the man only ever responded in an English pidgin language with said pidgin being Nigerian in origin and in later calls when ever he did try to speak Fanti it was very poor and broken. The family managed to pay the ransom

Its that most wonderful time of the year again- the final rush of games in the college football season. One thing I’ve always loved about the bowl season is how it plays out like a really, really long fight card, with the undercard bouts kicking us off, rising up to bigger and bigger things and culminating in a blockbuster main event. Anyways, this is my personal decision on ranking the bowls based on impact, the caliber of teams, and the overall watchability and enjoyability that I think the game will have. Obviously I’m going to be 100% wrong on this, but I hope you enjoy anyways.

#42- MYRTLE BEACH BOWL (12/20 2:30, ESPN)

OLD DOMINION Monarchs (6-6) vs TULSA Golden Hurricane (6-6)

The selling point of this bowl is that both teams are coming in kind of hot- ODU won its last 5 after a 1-6 start, and Tulsa has won three in a row, including a season ending upset of SMU to allow the Hurricane to squeak in the bowls in the first place. The issue is ODU’s winning streak becomes a LOT less impressive once you see who they faced during it, and while its nice to see the Monarchs not give up and push through to the postseason, the fact is they’re likely the weakest team in this year’s postseason, and a definite underdog to Tulsa.

#41- NEW MEXICO BOWL (12/18, 2:15, ESPN)

UTEP Miners (7-5) vs FRESNO STATE Bulldogs (9-3)

Fresno State absolutely deserved better than this game, which is easily the most disrespectful pair-down of the season. UTEP has come a long way in just a couple of years from when they were the bottom-feeder in all of FBS, but they’re still a 7-5 team who got exposed after a downy-soft start to their schedule. If this is anywhere near close, its because Fresno lacked motivation.

#40- BAHAMAS BOWL

BOWL (12/17, Noon, ESPN)

MIDDLE TENNESSEE Blue Raiders (6-6) vs TOLEDO Rockets (7-5)

Toledo was just another MAC team in a year where the conference lacked any true standouts, but were so close to being something special, with four of their five losses coming by three points or less, including one to Notre Dame. MTSU on the other hand, was a team that never really stood out, other than a slight upset over Marshall, and just kind of got to six wins. Not exactly the biggest bang to kick off bowl season, but the weather should be nice.

#Red scare

Five centrist Democrats have killed the nomination of Saule Omarova to head the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, assisting Republicans—intentionally or unintentionally–in winning their ‘red scare’ campaign.

Omarova is a professor of law at Cornell, an expert on the banking industry, and previously worked as an advisor in the Dept. of the Treasury. She supports the Green New Deal and advocates for reforming the Federal Reserve.

Despite her qualifications, Republicans have focused on her heritage as their main line of attack. Omarova was born in the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic and attended Moscow State University where she wrote a thesis on the political philosophy of Karl Marx. She move to the states in 1991, earning a Ph.D. in political science and a Juris Doctor degree.

The rightwing media has been against her nomination from the start:

>Fox News ran a big story crowing that Omarova “could be the next Biden nominee to go down” alongside a large photo of Marx. Network exile Bill O’Reilly proclaimed that “what this woman wants … [is] communism,” while RealClearPolitics ran with the headline “Biden Is Nominating Soviet-Trained Radicals Now.” The Wall Street Journal editorial board asserted that her “radical ideas might make even Bernie Sanders blush” and that she “still believes the Soviet economic system was superior.”

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) piled on the red scare tactics during Omarova’s nomination hearing, questioning her participation in Soviet society (clip):

Alien-Nation Chapter 76: Award (pt. II)

I’d been inside Archmere’s presentation hall, once. The ceiling was like a coloured sky of stained glass, spots of radiance obscuring white clouds on a blue background. Rays shining through to reach the outskirts of vibrant spots before the stained glass ended, greeted by brassy metallics, wooden beams and ceramic tiles. The human natural and ancient materials, and even a fountain in the center of the room gave the whole inside a very intimate, and human-scale sense of proportions.

It also was far too small to be used for the sheer number of visitors, apparently. Which meant this whole affair was set to be carried out on the wide grassy lawn in front of the building. I couldn’t even begin to count the number of people sitting in front of me now, waiting for me to open my mouth and either make a fool of myself or carve out my footnote in history. The odd proportions of the chairs and the female Shil'vati dwarfing the humans sitting beside them threw off any estimates I could have hoped to make.

I took a deep breath in.

• That cunt Grayson Waller comes down to the ring. He says a wise man once said you can never fail if you bet on yourself, but that wise man overstayed his welcome. For some reason he wanted to thank his wife and fans like they did anything for anyone. Waller said he did everything he said he was gonna do and shows the footage the attack last week, from the perspective of his Instagram live. Grayson says last week he cemented himself as THE NXT superstar, from jumping off the cage, winning Wargames, and ending the career of one of the greatest superstars in NXT history. This weekend he was partying with celebrities while everyone else was doing the same thing they always did. Grayson shows from comments, including one from Wade Barrett, complimenting Waller. • I put on my FBI hat Obama style and find the magazine cover on ebay, which tells us that this event had to of taken place in June or July 2011. Hailey was 15 in 2011 if you were wondering
• Let me go back a bit further - Her dad Stephen Baldwin took her backstage at the Today show in October 2009 to meet him, thers a video of this encounter somewhere and its pretty awkward, she basically tells him shes a big fan and enjoys his music and he kind of treats it like any other fan encounter.
• February 2011 her dad attends the Bieber Never Say Never movie premiere and of course brings Hailey - he pulls some strings and is able to get them to do another meet and greet

I (42M) and my wife (38F) have a daughter (14) who is friends with the son (13) of an acquaintance of mine. Because my daughter and her friend are different genders, my wife insists on always supervising their playdates. Our daughter can't go to his house; he has to come here. She always watches the kids when they're together and doesn't let our daughter close the door when they're in her room.

TBH, I always thought my wife was being fairly reasonable until this incident. Kids are kids, and they're nearing the complicated age. So I always backed my wife up, even when my daughter begged to be allowed to her friend's house.

Recently, my wife was watching the kids while I was at work and realized she needed some things from the store. She made the children go with her so they wouldn't be alone. Apparently (I'm obviously getting all of this info second hand) the kids wondered off while she was shopping. While they were alone, an employee approached my daughter's friend and accused him of stealing something.

My daughter's friend turned out his jacket pockets, and there was nothing in there but his phone and keys. The employee demanded my daughter's friend remove his jacket, because she thought something was hidden under the jacket. My daughter's friend refused and said he didn't steal anything. My daughter called for my wife, and she showed up pretty quickly.

My wife sided with the employee and asked my daughter's friend to remove the jacket. When he did, the employee saw the necklace he was wearing and demanded he take it off so she could inspect it to see if it was merchandise from the store. I've seen him wearing this necklace before, for the record. At this point, he ran out of the store into the cold, not wearing a jacket, and called his grandfather to come pick him up.

I was at work when my acquaintance called me, furious. He said his son was half frozen when his dad got to him (which I believe, because it's very cold here right now) and that my wife profiled his son. He told me that his son won't be going over to my house ever again.

Her friend is mixed race. His father was Indian (like India, not Native American). A lot of people asked and I didn't know, so hopefully they see this.
