You get the sense from the program that the matter has been resolved. It was a Manson-like cult who committed murders orchestrated by the cult leader for financial gain. They are now and jail and that's the end of it.
But there are so many unanswered questions. Why did they hide bags of ammunition? Why did they have so many weapons? Why are 3 witnesses still in witness protection?
Why is so little mention made of the Police Colonel who visited the cult regularly and shielded them from investigation? Why would a police colonel even care to protect a cult?
Anyone else also got the sense the cult was a cover for something?
