A really nice Indian masala which is both pungent and refined. A hand rolled generous masala coating with bold notes of vanilla, bergamot, cedar, and vetivert. On burning the experience is somewhat different, a soft but pungent perfume unlike what you'd expect from the raw stick. A light woody base melded with benzoin vanilla, top notes of balsamic citrus and baby powder with an undercurrent of star anise. Well balanced with a gentle throw and soft lingering aroma which is light, dry, and welcoming. Clean burning with a light grey ash, something I like to see in a natural masala incense.
Sadly Aargee has recently discontinued importing this incense but felt it deserved a review, a popular scent for many years and a personal favourite. Some EU retailers have stock if you scratch around. I was hesitant to post this review as I'm unsure of its value to the group given its demise. I've a couple more favourites that are similarly rare, I'm interested to hear your thoughts on if I should bother reviewing them.
Lord Krishna individual emerged on this planet somewhere in the range of five thousand years back in Mathura. Krishna was conceived as the eighth child of his parents, Vasudeva and Devaki and he grew up as a cowherd and he conveyed happiness to all who lived in Vrindavan.
Even his name Krishn means dark in Sanskrit. This is a very wrong cultural depiction and nobody does anything about it. Is that how much India has been blinded by whiteness. That they canโt accept their own god?
