He was also awarded the 1914-15 star. The military medal and the silver wound badge for taking an injury during action

Officers role in the Royal armoured corps.
Hi, I'm planning on applying to be an officer in the army and more specifically the RAC. I am worried that as an officer that I won't be able to be involved as much I would like to be with the tanks/vehicles. I know very little about the armed forces as I know no one who has served. Can some explain a little how it works. I know the MOD sight says you do but that could just be to draw people on
