A list of puns related to "Killer Klowns from Outer Space"
So, just a quick story about one of my favorite horror movies from the 80s, Killer Klowns from Outer Space. I saw it for the first time when I was about 8-years-old and while I loved it and still do to this day, there was a fatal flaw not with the film, but with me. I had no idea what I was watching was supposed to be a horror movie. I thought I was watching a comedy.
For perspective, I grew up going to the circus a lot. I frequented the Ringling Brothers circus and several of the smaller ones all the time. To me, clowns were hilarious comedians and I found them to be hysterical. I loved how their feet squeaked when they walked, when they would prank audience members with their squirt flowers, and how they got people with hand buzzers and such. There was nothing scary about them for me and I had no idea that other people found them creepy.
So when I first watched Killer Klowns, I was laughing at the absurdity of clowns being evil aliens. I laughed through the whole thing and when HBO played it again, I invited all of my friends over to watch it, ensuring them that this was the funniest movie that theyβd ever see. For context, we were all about 8 or 9-years-old, it was dark out, and there were no adults in the house when we watched the movie.
When it was over, everyone but me was frozen in fear, too terrified to talk or move. When we did finally get up and move about the house, no one would leave the room or go anywhere alone. My friends all paired up to go into the other rooms to turn on all the lights and they all gave me evil glares for making them watch what they considered to be the scariest movie of all time.
To this day, my friends still think that I played a mean prank on them. I honestly thought that they would find the movie to be funny. So on that fateful day I learned that coulrophobia (fear of clowns) was a thing. Thank you for attending my Ted talk.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space is a comedy horror about, you guessed it, Killer Klowns from Outer Space. The film features couple Mike Tobacco and Debbie Stone following the antics of aliens who resemble circus clowns. Throughout the film, the aliens capture the residents of Crescent Cove by shooting them with ray guns that encases them in cotton candy-like cocoons.
The film is also unique in ways other than its premise, however. For starters, the film has a now-classic theme song written by The Dickies. The film was also the only film written and directed by both of the Chiodo Brothers, who are best known for their special effects featured in works such as The Simpsons, Elf, and Pee-Wee Hermanβs Big Adventure.
NECA has made multiple Gremlin figures and they're still making more!! I think they could make multiple Killer Klowns from Outer Space figures like for Shorty who has boxing gloves with switchable hands, A head where he's laughing, and him in the pizza boxes. and maybe a bike? Not sure. Then for Jumbo he could have a net, hammer, head where he's laughing, and switchable hands. For Slim, maybe the bag full of popcorn. Klown offspring, and hands where he's doing the shadow puppets. And then for Rudy (I think that's his name? The one on the poster.) Has a cotton candy cocoon. A popcorn blaster. And maybe they can have a Fatso one with a cotton candy cocoon with a hole in it. A straw that can be placed inside the hole. And an acid pie. I really hope NECA makes at least one Klown figure... Anyway that's just my opinion.
All are in character, fight takes place in crescent cove's amusement park where the Klowns space ship is. Sweet Tooth gets his ice cream truck and all his respective weapons with it. No interference from outside bystanders.
Round 1: Sweet Tooth knows about the nose weakness
Round 2: Sweet Tooth doesn't know about the nose weakness starting out
Killer Klowns is one of my favorite movies of all time for its practical effects, production value, and total commitment to its concept. This year I wanted to finally tribute it with a head to toe look, and I chose my favorite Klown, Shorty.

I did all of the prosthetics myself, as well as the hair. I wanted to do a giant alien head but my skill level just wasn't there yet. I got the costume made custom because I didn't want to do store bought. Let me know what you think!!

Let's finish of this Thanksgiving weekend with a fun 80's movie!
Like hear me out i know we already have clown but what if it was like killer klowns, the costumes are just the different klowns from the movie and they hit the survivors with the cotton candy guns. The special move is shooting popcorn at the survivors that can fall on the ground like a little trail. The Mori they use is getting them up and as they start to run shoot them with the cotton candy gun and they get cacooned like in the movie. This is just a thought and if behaviour could get the rights I'd like to see it happen. Let me know your thoughts!
I LOVE B-Rate Horror movies. The cheesier the better to be honest. I have some favorites, but I want to spend this Halloween watching as many as possible! Also challenging myself to make sticker designs around my favorites.

Content Warning for the movie: there's a scene where a dog gets hurt! It's not graphic or anything it's just a surprisingly sad scene for this otherwise goofy movie, cuz his owner is a sweet old man who's very upset about it βΉοΈ
