A list of puns related to "Kildare"
Edit 1: I definitely should of said Dublin area too as I drive so travelling to Dublin isn't a big issue.
I never thought I would be looking for friends on the Internet but here I am. I am struggling with loneliness the past few months and have found myself in a situation with practically no friends. I don't let it stop me from doing most things but it can be quite depressing at times. There is a long list of things I want to do (Dublin wild lights, drive in movies, pink restaurant in Dublin, restaurants in general, cinema, walks, a pub would be nice, stand up, plays(The Book of Mormon), Harry potter tour in London etc) but I feel its nearly a waste going by myself and I don't enjoy these things as much by myself. I find everyone around me has closer friends then I am to them which is fine, I don't have a main friend is what I'm trying to say. I do find I am the person that always is texting first and a while ago I stopped reaching out to people to see who would text me first and weeks went by without anyone reaching out to me. I've found I'm crying in bed most weekends and when I do go off to do something by myself I usually end up crying and turning the car around because I just feel so lonely. I do joke about loneliness to my family and people around me but it most certainly isn't a joke. I've never struggled with loneliness before so it's something new for me to overcome.
Anyways without the pity party, I'm a 26F, Kildare County area working in science. I do work Monday-Friday nights. I'm an ENTJ and quality time is my love language if that helps anyone with an idea of what I'm like. I enjoy video games, jigsaw puzzles, fashion, YouTube, dining out and going to the cinema. It would be nice to hangout with someone at the weekends and have something to look forward to. Feel free to message me, this is a throwaway acc and I'll probably end up deleting this post soon anyways
If anyone is heading to Kildare Village before 27.12, I have a voucher for a free birthday crรชpe in Crรชperie Angรฉlie going spare. Wonโt be down there again before it expires!
Merchants in the towns of Athy, Naas, Carlow, Newbridge, and Kildare have made contact with their trading partners in the Irish Pale, who have petitioned the Irish Parliament such that any further enclosure in Ireland ought to be done such that the merchants have the opportunity to be awarded and enclose common land. The nobility vehemently oppose this. The Irish Parliament is in deadlock, with the Commons supporting the merchants, and the Lords supporting the nobility.
Two peasant armies have appeared within the territory controlled by the Earl of Kildare. The first army is centred on the Hill of Allen. Surrounded by the Bog of Allen, this army will be difficult to take. The second army has seized the Kilcullen Bridge (modern town of Kilcullen), and taken the town of Kilcullen (modern Old Kilcullen). Estimates of their size range from several hundred particularly disgruntled radicals, to ten thousand peasants comprising most of the peasants of the region.
As Kildare is home to a variety of monasteries and parishes, the Chuch is also getting involved. Much of the land that is left โwastedโ is actually owned by the many monasteries that dot the region. As the nobles of Kildare moved to enclose the region, many of the churches and monasteries protested, producing documents that prove they own the land. The nobles contest that these documents are legal, and claim that the monasteries themselves are nothing but collections of peasants themselves. The Augustinian and Franciscan Orders that operate many of these monasteries have raised their concerns to the Bishop of Kildare, Edward Lane. Edward has brought the concern up to the Archbishop of Dublin, Walter Fitzsimon. Fitzsimon has agreed to field these complaints to the Lord of Ireland. A letter from Fitzsimon has reached the King, in which Fitzsimon blames the incompetence of his rival, the Earl of Kildare, for the mess that has been created.
##TLDR
The peasants are extremely mad
The Franciscan and Augustinian monks in the region are mad
The Bishop of Kildare is mad
The Archbishop of Dublin is blaming the Earl of Kildare for a poor implementation of the King's plan
The merchants want the right to enclose land expanded to them - the nobles absolutely do not want this
The nobles are a little happy about their new
Hey folks,
Wondering if anyone has suggestions for a company that might do the installation for me . In no way a handyman, and it'll need some elevation due to some trees to the east / north of the house I'm in (which is a flat roofed bungalow) .
Contacted the likes of https://www.smartsatconnect.ie/ and they quoted 350 quid! Not an expert here on materials / labour required but surely they are taking rhe p**s ?
