A list of puns related to "Kevin Abstract"
For real. Even though I started listening in 2017 because I had a crush on someone who posted a Brockhampton song on their story and I thought Brockhampton was just the one dude on the cover at first. I was blown away the moment I heard "GOLD: and saw the video I'd never seen any DIY rap music video and shit like it. And listening to Kevin's music before I even knew he was a part of Brockhampton I just saw him on the Spotify "artists like Frank Ocean" section. I REMEMBER WHERE I FUCKING WAS WHEN I FIRST HEARD "YELLOW" I WAS ON A TRAIN IN EUROPE AND THE CHORUS CAME ON BEFORE WE EXITED THIS CAVE AND PASSED THROUGH PRETTY COUNTRYSIDE. lol. I made friends at school bc we liked the music. It was part of my fucking musical identity as a kid I was so annoying about it hahaha. And I'm not changing into some "Oh my fucking god I was so cringely ew Brockhampton is bad and overrated" type person. Like, like what you like and I like Brockhampton. And I hope you did too.
>On January 15, 2015, Kevin Abstract informed fans via his Twitter page that his [sophomore] record was to be titled Death of a Supermodel and that it would be released later in the year. This album was then later discarded, however. Abstract then announced that he was working on a different album, They Shoot Horses, a part of the Death of a Supermodel trilogy. In November, the first single from They Shoot Horses, "Echo" was released, along with a music video directed by Tyler Mitchell. At the end of June 2016, Kevin announced that he had changed the title of his upcoming album to American Boyfriend: A Suburban Love Story.
The majority of the album was produced by Michael Uzowuru (also executive producer) and Jeff Kleinman and composed of musical elements from Alternative Hip-Hop/R&B and Indie Pop/Rock. The record is meant to explore themes of love as well as Kevin's own sexuality and insecurities as an adolescent and young adult. The visuals for the singles also helped convey the intended theme and story for the project

There was like this video essay on kevin with a yellow thumbnail and it started something like "kevin abstract isn't famous but he is getting there" or something like that I can't find it anymore has anybody seen it too
His new mixtape is amazing. I just noticed how similar it sounds to Kevin Abstract's style like the vocal effects and stuff. He even has the Bleach rewind sample in one of his songs.
