A list of puns related to "Ken Leek"
Iโve had this since 2006, when I saw another kid in scouts with one, and had to have it. I carried it but rarely used it as a kid, cause I felt like it was too pretty to use.
Iโve now got other knives I carry, and just donโt find myself reaching for this.
Iโd rate this between a B and C but will lean towards C to be cautious since it does have the scratches from carrying.
It is a cool piece and the frame lock is sturdy. The photos here donโt do it justice, so Iโd google it for what it better looks like in person.
May entertain trades, but otherwise looking for $65 shipped CONUS
Used with box - could almost pass for new! Condition B (Would be an A, as it still has a factory razor edge, but there are some very small scuffs on the side of the blade...see last picture in album...hardly noticeable!).
Sat in a padded glovebox for a month, but otherwise never carried...maybe opened a box or two. Fantastic assist opening, razor sharp from the factory...like new other than a small scuff.
Price includes shipping and fees.
Thanks!

Hey all, looking to sell off come knives to finance some things I need more, so no trades please. All knives come with the box or pouch shown and the Blur and Tenacious have their OG paperwork.
โ
Rainbow Leek (A) SOLD - I got this knife as a gift from an old boss, he stated to have never used or carry it and I know I never did. I used eBay to price this as I believe it is discontinued, and I cannot find it anywhere else.
โ
Blur (B) SOLD - This knife might be the sharpest I own, it has to have been sharpened but whoever did it did a good job.
โ
Tenacious (A) SOLD - Bought this knife at my local gun show as my first Spyderco, and wanted to keep it in as good condition as possible. cut paper the day I bought it then sat on my knife shelf until today.
โ
Willing to work on these as I would like to sell them, they all are just collection knives for me and I could use the cash more. Willing to take more pics if you need them.
looking to sell or trade my Kershaw Leek, its a great little knife but I prefer a larger blade and I just don't carry it anymore.
This knife has a few changes from factory condition:
Condition:
I listed as a B because of the parts swap and moderate wear from carrying. It's in good condition, has been carried a few times, cut a few boxes down. Blade is centered and is a snappy flipper. Factory edge has not been sharpened but slices nicely and the pointy tip pierces easily. Handle finish is a nice smooth matte black with very moderate wear. The titanium clip has a very slight tooling mark that was present when it arrived to me.
Knife ships with original box, paperwork, plastic bag. I no longer have the original silver screws or the factory pocket clip.

I was bummed out when Ken Onion went to CRKT. His designs always mixed flair with ergonomics (can you imagine a Ken Onion Spyderco collab?).
CRKT has a bunch of really daring designs that go beyond the "2 slabs and a framelock" scourge. Problem is, they're manufactured at a Chinese school for the blind. Every CRKT I've owned has had deal breaking manufacturing flaws. Sometimes the grind, sometimes the lock. Most of the time both.
So I'm at a gunshow and I spot the Swindle. Another CRKT-Onion design that I love the looks of. Picked it up and played with it, and by god, I couldn't find anything wrong the fit and finish. Sold.
What I got could be best described as a Gentlemen's Leek. Very thin, contoured (yes contoured!) steel scales. A blade that completely disappears into the handle when folded, and an IKBS flipper that I have serious trouble flipping partially. It shoots out as well as any flipper I've used. Very impressive action. Closing just requires disengaging the lockbar and just a tiny bit of wrist.
The smooth scaled model is wearing 8Cr14Mov. I don't normally carry lead based alloys, but I really liked the looks of it. The blade has a very good crown on the spine. Very impressive for the price point. It came with a nice, even (!!!) hollow grind that did have some serious edge burn that took quite a while on the sharpmaker to get out. After about an hour of work it cut like a laser.
The clip is very interesting. There's a nice tension to it, and I don't see it causing a retention problem. This isn't a knife I'd take to work, so I'm talking about light carry. I wouldn't trust it in my work jeans on the floor. But I don't think it's made for that.
Would I recommend it? Weeeeell... if you could ensure that the sample you're getting is as well made as the one I got, yes. If you're interested, I'd ask someone like BladeHQ to give it a little inspection before shipping. I did some google-fu and for every happy Swindle owner, there seems to be one with a bad lock or a bad grind. Damn shame. As much as I like this knife it did nothing to make me more comfortable blind buying CRKT. It did however make the whole situation sadder, because when they're done right, they're kinda blowing away the competition in that price range.
But, if you get a good one, you've got a great, innovative little folder on your hands. If you've got TiLock or Grimsmo taste on a Kershaw budget, this knife will scratch the art knife itch. At least
... keep reading on reddit โกI purchased one of these great knives a couple months ago at an outdoors store for $40, and the other day, while opening it, I heard and felt something give within the knife. Now the assist opening is broken. Everyone who has one knows it flips open just by barely pushing it open; mine no longer does that. It's still functional, but I loved how fast it sprang open before. Does anyone know if this can be fixed? I don't want to take apart the knife unless there is a way to repair it
Collection sale continues. Some of the last name brands I have left. Original owner of all except the SS Native. None were ever used only stored in a Spyderco Pak and looked at once in a while. PP G&S CONUS.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!

I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
Don't you know a good pun is its own reword?
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies ๐
Two muffins are in an oven, one muffin looks at the other and says "is it just me, or is it hot in here?"
Then the other muffin says "AHH, TALKING MUFFIN!!!"
It really does, I swear!

Heard they've been doing some shady business.
but then I remembered it was ground this morning.
Edit: Thank you guys for the awards, they're much nicer than the cardboard sleeve I've been using and reassures me that my jokes aren't stale
Edit 2: I have already been made aware that Men In Black 3 has told a version of this joke before. If the joke is not new to you, please enjoy any of the single origin puns in the comments
Up for sell is a Kershaw 1660 Ken Onion Leek. Purchased this knife a few months ago, but have rarely used it. I've carried it only a handful of times, so it still looks great. There is a little wear on the pocket clip.
