Amazingly, I discovered today that I have yet to write about this show.
World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio inspired little confidence in the front office. Vince McMahon reluctantly made him the champion at WrestleMania but seemed to put little faith in him, believing he was too small to get over. In the midst of his feud with JBL (then-United States Champion, but his title was not up for grabs), JBL put Mysterio up against giants like Mark Henry, the Great Khali, and Kane. And week after week, Mysterio would lose cleanly. A self-fulfilling prophecy, Mysterio's title reign didn't get over because the front office refused to believe fans would believe in him.
Fittingly, Mysterio's first major title defense came in Phoenix, an area ripe with Hispanic people and tradition against the crusader himself, JBL, who was nearing his first retirement due to back issues. JBL went through two referees in his attempt to screw Mysterio out of the title, but Mysterio kicked a chair in JBL's face and landed his 619/frog splash combo to retain his championship.
After months of being humiliated by Undertaker, Daivari found a giant that was, by all apperances, unstoppable. The Great Khali hailed from India and stood 7'1, and weighed 350 pounds. He was gigantic in every sense of the word. A powerlifter, Khali's upper body was incredibly massive. And on his debut, he smashed Undertaker and physically dominated him. The two would face each other on this night and, once again, Khali dominated Taker and nothing Taker did seemed to have any effect. With a massive chop, Khali placed a single foot on the chest of Undertaker and pinned him clean as a whistle. This is how you get a monster over. Despite Khali's very limited in-ring ability, you can't just ignore a guy that massive. He's either going to be main event or bust.
SmackDown had exclusive rights to the revitalized King of the Ring tournament, and the two men to make it to the finals were Booker T and Bobby Lashley. This was the last effective King of the Ring tournament where the winner didn't end up worse off than before he won it. Finlay, who had developed a rivalry with Lashley, interfered and allowed Booker to win the crown, spawning the development of the King Booker character.
After a year of dominance over the tag team division, WWE Tag Team Champio

This just freaked me out. I was watching Terminator 2 "I've watched this like 10 times!" and i got to the part where Johns being chased by the T-1000. Amazing stunt work for the 90's btw. Then something hit me!!
You know the part of the film where John Connor "riding his bike" is being chased by the T-1000 in a black 18 wheel truck?
Well its not a 18 Wheeler any more!!
ITS A TOW-TRUCK! TOW HOOK AND ALL!!
Am i just being silly and its ALWAYS been a Tow-truck and not an 18 Wheeler. Or is this something others remember?
Let me know ^^
Edit:: Also look at how Judgment is spelt. Why does it look wrong without an E in it?
^ This is a screenshot of the gameboy version of Terminator 2. Is this residue of this ME?
Edit 3:: Made a mini youtube video to highlight this ME
I'm seeing a common trend in a lot of responses here that I think are quite concerning and should be talked about more and called out more when its seen.
Iβm long winded in my replies and this post will be no exception.
I think nearly everyone on this sub could talk at length about their individual journey into the ENM lifestyle, what it means to them and how it affects their lives in various ways.
I also think that if everyone did this, NO ONE would be posting the same story. We all started dabbling in this lifestyle for slightly different reasons and everyoneβs unique situation has molded their interpretation and feelings on ENM as a whole. .
I think it's important that we all remember that none of us have finished writing our story. We all learn and we all grow. We all make mistakes and we all have different ways of approaching problems in our own very unique lives.
As a whole, we face judgement from the people all the time that dont understand ethical nonmonogamy. A lot of posters and commenters here dont have IRL people they feel comfortable talking to about this stuff with or dont have anyone that can actually relate or would even be accepting.
People come here for acceptance and advice. Weβre not a porn sub. People dont come here for that quick reddit dopamine kink fix. They come here to learn, ask questions and feel safe to express themselves and discuss their journey.
When someone posts something here that you dont agree with, thats completely OK. ENM is such a HUGE umbrella of various forms of sexual identity and activity that it would be impossible for every single person to think and feel the exact same way about everything ENM-related.
Thatβs the best part of this sub. The similarities AND the differences in everyone's story.
Iβm urging everyone to just leave all the judgement at the door when you come to this sub. Thereβs nothing wrong with expressing your disagreement with someone who practices ENM differently than you do, but its not hard to do that in a respectful way that opens a mutual, beneficial and most importantly, inclusive, dialogue.
Thereβs no excuse for sidelining someone because of their lack of knowledge or if you dont feel that their particular flavor of ENM is appealing. Thereβs no excuse for letting it happen either without calling it out.
No one that comes to this sub honestly and is ethical in their situation is doing anything WRONG. It might be DIFFERENT than what youβre comfortab
