Vic Amuso’s reign as the Boss of the Lucchese Family on the street is generally seen as a disaster mainly due to the actions of Gaspipe though I am not admonishing Amuso from this because at the end of the day he was and still is the Boss

It has been proven that when Vic was a made man and a Captain, he was an earner and a capable guy which proves why he was definitely a candidate to be the boss along with the fact that Christie Tick who brought Amuso into the family, was the Consigliere at the time who must have definitely told Corallo to consider him.

Gaspipe claims that a meeting with Tony Ducks Corallo he turned down the opportunity to be the Lucchese boss and instead politely asked Corallo to give the position to Amuso though this is from Gaspipe and only Gaspipe, to believe this we would have to take his word though of course it’s likely that this could have happened, we should remember Gaspipe was caught in many lies by the prosecutors who oversaw his cooperation agreement.

When Vic Amuso became the boss in 1986, he straightened out people in the Brooklyn Faction who were loyal to him people such as Michael DeSantis who he inducted in November of 1989 who is now the Acting Boss, Amuso took care of his people in Brooklyn.

Vic Amuso is still clearly very well respected, in 1992 Amuso was sentenced to life in prison though through the Brooklyn Faction of the Lucchese Family he has managed to stay in power because those guys are completely loyal to him in the current day.Now if Amuso was controlled by Gaspipe why would people still be loyal to him? Why would he still be the boss if he was weak?

After Amuso loyalists Joseph DeFede and Louis Daidone were sent to prison, Vic thought it was time for a ruling panel to run the Family which consisted of Joe DiNapoli, Matthew Madonna and Anthony Migliore.Later Madonna became the Acting Boss in 2009 and the family’s power technically moved to the Bronx though even with the power moved to the Bronx, Amuso still clearly was the boss and the administration clearly respected him but they had now 2 crews in the Bronx and only one in Brooklyn which was run by Big John Castelucci who is loyal to the Consigliere Joe DiNapoli but even though they had their guy in Brooklyn as a Capo, overseeing the Amuso loyalists it still didn’t effect Amuso’s power because according to John Pennisi, he had a conversation with his close childhood friend Joseph DiBenedetto, who is also Amuso’s son in law, about beco

Please consider changing rule #6. I love this sub, but the recent influx of NSFW tagged posts that get all the upvotes, just seem wrong when there are good solid DAD jokes being overlooked because of them.

Keep in mind, my son is 4 years old, so everything is an original to him.
I had to work late into the evening yesterday, and he was just going to bed when I got home. I had left home for the office nearly 14 hours prior, had a long day, lots of meetings, traffic, etc.
When I walked through the door, I was exhausted, run down, and starving. My wife hugged me and asked how my day was, and I replied, "Done. It was a good day, but has got me exhausted. I just want to grab a bite and go to bed. I'm hungry."
From my son's bedroom, I hear him shout, "Hi Hungry! Nice to meet you!"
Not only did it make me laugh, but I completely forgot about how hungry and tired I was. I went to his bedroom, and we laughed together about it. It was exactly what I needed.
