Punstoppable
A list of puns related to "Jorge Ben"
I'm fucking obsessed with this album I need more like it
Looking for songs similar to this with a jazzy vibe
I’ve been hunting this one down for a while, one of the best albums ever made. This is more of a post to scope out if anybody even has this album on vinyl, though please keep in mind that I’m not sure if I’m willing to buy just yet. I would love an original press from the 70s but I understand that that’s near impossible. I live in Australia so I definitely understand the hassle of postage worldwide.
All LPs are clean, well cared for, and stored in mofi inners unless otherwise noted. Add $5 for media mail shipping on most, $10 on the two VMP box sets. Message me for international shipping rates. Open to offers or trades for items on my wantlist. I’m located in MN, USA - local pickup is cool if you’re in the Minneapolis area. Happy to provide pics by request. Thanks for looking!

Thank you.
Hey everyone! I know that this a long shot, but I’m looking for a copy of Jorge Ben’s Forca Bruta. Any of the pressing listed below would be fine. Preferably in VG+/EX condition. Sleeve condition doesn’t really matter.
Willing to pay up to $110 for this pressing:
$80-90 for this pressing:
Jorge Ben - Forca Bruta Stereo
Or $50-60 for this one:
Jorge Ben - Forca Bruta French Pressing
Not really trying to deal with the hassle of overseas shipping, so I’d prefer to buy from someone in the US. Unless the price is right!
Feel free to PM me if you guys have any of these. Thanks!
Então eu abro as janelas, e deixo a luz do Sol entrar. Ainda que seja um Sol de inverno, que ilumina e não esquenta. O toque do Sol é morno, e quase se dissipa no vento gelado.
Mas abro as janelas, e os deixo entrar. O Sol e o vento. Que seja. Quero o dia, a luz, o céu, as nuvens aqui dentro.
Dentro de casa, dentro de mim.
Que doidera Jorge Ben me faz sentir
Como se a melodia regasse um jardim dentro de mim.
I've fallen in love with this video, particularly the first two songs

and am looking for more music in this style. Particularly, acoustic guitar playing jazzy chords with lots of dynamic funky rhythms and vocals. Would prefer smaller acoustic bands if possible. Gilberto e Gil is a good example of a similar album. Thanks for any recommendations!

Olá!
I am a huge fan of Jorge Ben, he has been one of my top artists on Spotify for several years now. But it’s kind of hard to find info about him and similar artists in English. I don’t even know what the genre is called but I’m addicted to his music lol. So much so that I’m planning an exchange year in Portugal to learn the language so that I can understand what he’s singing. Anyway, I’d really love to hear your recommendations :)
Obrigada ❤️
