A list of puns related to "João Gilberto"
I have been trying to find reference photos of the 1964 Carnegie Hall performance of João Gilberto, but have had no luck. I think that the way his guitar is recorded specifically on the track Um Abraço no Bonfa is out of this world gorgeous. Perfectly balanced. I would love to be able to get that sound. So... this might be a better question for a recording forum, but I think that you all might be better help with reference photos, if photos from that specific performance exist at all. I’m not trying to exactly recreate anything, just observe general mic type/positioning to try out different methods at my studio. Thanks for helping me out on this niche mission!
Ciao! "Estate" was covered recently by Brazilian-Italian band Selton and Italian rapper Priestess. We think they did a fantastic job!
If you enjoyed that cover and might interested in listening to other Italian music by current artists, you might enjoy our Musica Italiana playlists!

I was going to say that title pretty much sums it all but it really doesn't. Subgenres are appreciated -- by the way, American music is included in the request. There are no obvious answers, there are no wrong answers, I'm aiming at personal and heated arguing over imaginary bottles of beer with big gestures and drama overall. You know what, give me a track, let's make this into a playlist. I won't be putting repeated artists though, so we can keep the ryhtms varied.
