Heβs doing this in 32 MPG playing within the offence behind guys like Jrue, Khris & Giannis. Heβs providing a nice scoring punch at the perfect time since guys are either in and out of the lineup or if theyβre struggling.
Heβs showcased his ability to crash the glass on both ends of the floor occasionally providing nice opportunities for second chance points.
His active hands have also helped him generate steals every other game. Heβs hustling, trying and giving effort on the defensive end which has helped him improve game by game.
My favourite part of this is recent stretch...
You can really see that heβs developed amazing chemistry with Jrue especially in off ball cutting action where he gets himself open for easy looks at the basket making it easier with Jrue always looking for him.
Overall, itβs nice to see heβs proving himself to be a steady scoring option whenever the Bucks need it. Heβs definitely showing out and putting himself in a position to be a legit member of the rotation going forward especially over a handful of guys. As for some concluding thoughts, looking at his game logs in general it looks like heβs always produced when given minutes specifically if he plays at least 23.
Donβt get me wrong. I love Jordan Nwora and Iβm pulling for him and I want him to be a success, but every time I watch this dude play Iβm not exactly bullish on his future. Hereβs what I foresee as potential problems:
3 Shooting. He seems to be a somewhat streaky shooter from 3. I donβt think heβs BAD, but he misses a lot of good looks from the perimeter that nowadays guards are expected to knock down. If weβve got an open look from outside, Iβd rather have Jrue, Khash, Grayson, Pat, George, Brook, Wes, Donte, or Bobby taking that shot.
Inside game. He seems to be afraid of contact in the paint. Weβve all seen him throw down the hammer, so I know he CAN be successful in thereβ¦ yet he rarely seeks contact in the paint. Instead opting for a floater or short pull up J. And he doesnβt seem to have that Crawford/Tony Parker/Steph touchβ¦ not that he has to be AS good as those guys. They just happen to be the gold standard imo.
Defense. He doesnβt seem to be a particularly LOCKDOWN defender. He gets broken down a lot, and ive seen more than a few plays where heβs caught waltzing back on D in transition.
Explosiveness. He doesnβt seem to be an insane athlete. He canβt usually create his own shot. He doesnβt have the quickness or explosiveness to get around guys. He seems to get most of his opportunities via the gravity from more potent shooters like Pat and Khash...
Am I crazy? Im sure heβll drop 40 tonight and shut me up lol
Milwaukee Bucks:
> Jordan (Nwora) is my favourite player. Heβs going to be really good in this league... Heβs like a younger Khris.
-Jrue Holliday on Jordanβs game.

Thatβs a pretty great comp since both guys play a lot like Iso-Joe too. Younger Khris was also really athletic too so it checks out.
I bet Jordan is playing 1 on 1 against Jrue all the time only making himself better.

Stephen A Smith is catching tons of heat from sports fans for his segments on USA basketball losing to Nigeria and for saying Ohtani being so good is a detriment to the MLB. Jordan Nwora didn't hold back with this one.
Sorry in advance for a stat dump. All the numbers available on bball-ref, the nba website and FIBA.
So far he's 24/50 on FGs and 10/20 on three-pointers (over last season he shot 45% on 62 attempts from deep), off the back of his showing for the Nigerian national team in the Olympics where he averaged 21/5/1 on pretty cursed 49/50/50 splits.
Other parts of his game need significant improving, but over the 2020-21 season, the Olympics, and these games in the pre-season he's shooting 47% from 3 across over 100 attempts. Not only that, but despite one of his three bronze badges on 2K being catch-and-shoot, relatively few of his attempts are assisted; across last season ~64% of his 3's were assisted. For an unfair comparison, over the last 5 seasons Curry has had ~63% of his 3's assisted.
These numbers haven't dropped like you'd expect against NBA defenses either; in 36 minutes against the Knicks last season he shot poorly inside but still managed 4/8 from deep, and in a game against the Bulls he had a 34/14/0 (yes, 0) game shooting 61/50/50.
In short, a mid-second round pick is convincingly outscoring everyone he's played against so far (including KD, Harden and SGA) except for Ja Morant and Lu Dort.
EDIT: Forgot to add that the pre-season noise is happening while he's playing 25 minutes per game.
>Although he struggled to find consistent playing time on a veteran Bucks team last year, Nwora has the most upside of any young player off Milwaukee's bench.
>The 45th pick in the 2020 draft, Nwora could be a scoring spark for the Bucks this season following a successful run with the Nigerian Olympic team. On a squad that featured NBA players like Precious Achiuwa, Josh Okogie, Jahlil Okafor and KZ Okpala, it was Nwora who led Nigeria in scoring with 21.0 points per game while shooting 48.0 percent from three.
>This followed up a rookie season where he averaged 22.5 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.1 steals per 36 minutes while going 28-of-62 (45.2 percent) from outside the arc.
>The skill set is there, but will the minutes be?
>Nwora will have to beat out veteran Rodney Hood for the backup small forward job and could see time at power forward behind Giannis Antetokounmpo as well.

Nice to see Jordan getting some recognition after his impressive outing in the Olympics for Team Nigeria and a couple SL games.
Other possible candidates...
Donte DiVencenzo & Grayson Allen.
Does anyone else have a Love/Hate Relationship with your bottleneck? I'm sure if you got one in a pack and held onto it, you're loving it. The value has flown through the roof, and it probably reduced your cost to snag a Team Set by $200-$300.
I just bought the Jordan Nwora bottleneck. I know technically it's the only "5-Badger" so it has value, but man ... $300 for a guy I didn't want. It has allowed me to stack my Bucks players, which I wanted to do, but when I look at the fact that I could've gotten another Giannis Playoff Moment for that, it just stings.
Now I feel I've married the man. Jordan Nwora and I, locked in for eternity ;)
Curious if anyone else feels the same about the bottlenecks in their collection.
Bucks legend Jordan Nwora has 26 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists on 67/67/0 against the Germans in 18 minutes of play.
He has made 6/9 3 pointers and is absolutely scorching right now.

He was by far Nigeria's leading scorer tonight, scoring 31 points off the bench. Miye Oni was the only other Nigerian player in double digits with 15 points. A wonderful sight to see from Nwora on the same day that Bryn Forbes declined his player option for next season.
