Always felt it was bit tone deaf. The protagonist drives a pregnant woman to suicide, there's no coming back from that. And considering that this movie is a complete commerical movie unlike the first installment, a black comedy. Wouldn't it have been better if they show that she attempted suicide but survived, and eventually forgives Jolly after he wins her case?
I saw both the movies again. Just like that.
- Genuinely feel that Jolly LLB was better than Johnny LLB 2
- No offence to Akshay Kumar, he was good. But, Arshad Warsi was super earnest
- Anu Kapoor was amazing. So was Boman Irani.
- Also, the way it was fleshed out, layered, and driven, Johny LLB was better
- The motivation of the producers was apparent, but genuinely feel that Arshad Warsi should not have been replaced

I'm surprised to see the positive reviews so far... but I'm biased since I liked the first a lot and am still bitter that the studios replaced Arshad Warsi.
