I am interested in algebraic geometry and number theory. And hope to apply for a doctoral degree after the master's program.

Is there anyone that could provide me some advice? I would like to know which university has better courses and better teachers. Moreover, I would like to know where graduates in this direction can generally go to doctorate or follow which professor to pursue a doctorate?

Curious what the general consensus is. If someone has the Factor V Leiden mutation and may be on blood thinners during their pregnancy, does this risk them out of home birth?

Just a random observation

Hi guys, my girlfriend and I are going to begin studying at Leiden University later this year. However we’re having real difficulty in finding a studio/apartment that will take us both; most places and offers are only looking for single tenants.

Since we’re moving to Leiden together, we need to find a place that will take two people, which isn’t toooo far from the university.. although at this point we’re not too fussy..

I know this is not the most appropriate place to be asking, but we’re hoping that someone here might know of someone or something available, which may be able to help us out. We would be so grateful for any info you guys can give.

Ik wil aan iets knutselen maar dat kan thuis niet, nu zoek ik dus een publieke ruimte waar ik aan een tafel kan zitten. Ik heb de lokale makerspace geprobeerd maar die werken enkel met een ledensysteem van €25 p/m.
