A list of puns related to "John Doe (musician)"
Gadsden John Doe; was a teenager or young man found deceased in the brush alongside the United States Border Patrol Drag Road west of Gadsden, Arizona on February 15, 1975. With an estimated age of 13-23, he was a white male and his height was 5ft 8" - He was found β th of a mile from the US/Mexico border along the Colorado River. The circumstances surrounding his death are unclear, but his remains showed signs of being burned, which suggests foul play, sadly few details are available in his case. And he has only been posted on this sub once or twice.
Characteristics; Wavy red hair. Penis shaft removed and healed prior to his death and is not associated with his death.
Clothing; Long-sleeve button-up western shirt Blue jeans. Laced-up hiking boots with round knobs on the sole..
I was wondering if he may have had gangrene of the penis leading to the removal, was trans (unlikely back then) or if he was part of a cartel like organisation that would've done this to him either as an initiation or as punishment..
Considering he was burned, i would imagine.he hails from the US and he was burned to hide his identity, which has worked for 46 years. As he is still unidentified.
Does anyone else have any input, theories or ideas on the case?
Im very pleased that ive managed to make this the post with the most traction on this case, as the other one by another "author" didnt have many upvotes and barely any comments (under 10) and i hope this helps the case become mote well known, leadimg to this man getting his identity back! ##News
On December 23, 2004, a decomposed skeleton was discovered by children in a barn near a wooded area near Tyler, Texas. At the time, all that could be determined was that it was a white male between 27 and 42 years old, and he had died earlier that year.
DNA Doe Project announced that he has been identified as Kim Ryan Casey. Kim was apparently homeless and traveling, and was last known to be living in Coppell, Texas. Coppell is about 100 miles away from Tyler. Not much else is known about him at this time. He would have been 52 at the time of his death. There are no indications of criminal activity and authorities believe he died of natural causes due to the risks associated with being homeless and cold weather in the area around the time he died.
DDP took on the case in 2019 after investigators had exhausted all investigative avenues. Bacteria contamination of the DNA sample and endogamy in portions of the family tree complicated the case, but Kim was identified as a potential match in August 2019 (edit: August 2021 not 2019) and confirmed last month. The NAMUS page was removed at that time.
Other potential difficulties in identifying him could be that a photo provided of Kim shows he was balding, but a sketch was not created until sixteen years later, in2020, and it depicted him with a full head of long hair. He was 10 years older than the oldest estimated age and he also had no personal items with him. It is unclear to me whether or not he was ever reported missing by anyone or not.

DNA Doe Project has identified the Twinsburg Ohio John Doe 1982 as Frank "Frankie" Little, Jr., a member of the R&B group the O'Jays. His remains were found February 18, 1982 in a shallow grave in the woods behind a machine shop on Cannon Road, with evidence of stabbing, blunt force trauma, and postmortem burning. It was theorized he had been deceased for 1-2 years before his discovery.
Not a lot of information seems to be available about his disappearance or when exactly his family lost contact, but he was believed to have been alive into the mid-1970s. Summit County Medical Examiner Lisa Kohler says she plans to rule his death a homicide.
Thanks to the DNA Doe Project and the City of Twinsburg Police Department, Little's family has some closure.
(I didn't see this posted yet, or any posts about this in general. If anyone knows of a write-up on him that I missed, please let me know!)
EDIT 2: The O'Jays sent a statement to Rolling Stone that said:
> Frankie was a guitarist and songwriter in the very early OβJays [...] He came with us when we first ventured out of Cleveland and traveled to Los Angeles, but he also was in love with a woman in Cleveland that he missed so much that he soon returned back to Cleveland after a short amount of time. That was in the mid 1960s and we had not heard from him after then. Although this sounds like a tragic ending, we wish his family and friends closure to what appears to be a very sad story.
EDIT 3: /u/Basic_Bichette pointed out this composition he did for the O'Jays on YouTube, if anyone wants to hear his work. Thank you!

Oklahoma City Bombing
Another official lie.
24 people saw Timothy McVeigh with someone else before the OKC bombing.
From the Corbett Report
DANNY COULSON: "We know there were 24 people that were interviewed by the FBI, that said they saw Mr. McVeigh on April 19th with someone else. They had no reason to make it up, they didn't have a dog in the fight, they didn't have any reason to just make something up. They told the agents exactly what they saw and the agents wrote it down. If only one person had seen it, or two or three...but 24! 24 people say 'yes I saw him with somebody else', that's pretty powerful."
Hereβs another piece of information
Attorney General Janet Reno would announce upon Timothy McVeighβs arrest that βJohn Doe #2β was still βat-largeβ and βconsidered armed, and extremely dangerous.β
What happened to John Doe #2?
Who was he?
Why did we stop looking for him?

Hudson John Doe 2019 has been identified as Richard Bunce. His remains are the oldest to ever be identified by the DNA Doe Project! I have included information released by the DNA Doe Project below.
In August of 2019, excavators discovered a pine box on a real estate development in Hudson, Summit County, Ohio. The box contained partially fossilized human remains. The remains were examined and determined to have belonged to a white male between the ages of 40 and 70. It was believed that he had been buried for 50 to 70 years, if not longer. Dr. Lisa Kohler, Summit County Medical Examiner, stated that while the area in which the remains were found was not a cemetery, there were reports of people being buried there in the 1800s.
Richard was born in 1793 and is believed to have died around 1852. He likely lived on the property on which his remains were found. Richard is listed in the 1850 census, along with his wife Annie and several children, including a son named Anson. A 1856 map shows a plot labeled "A. Bunce" which may refer to Richard's wife Annie or his son Anson. The family land was sold to a neighbor in 1874.

I'm doing research for my next episode and I was looking through NamUs for possible matches for this John Doe. I came across Sammy Llyod Jackson, who would have been 18 at the time the John Doe was found (John Doe was 17-25). I'm trying to predict what Sammy would look like at 18, since he was just 13 when he went missing. Lips and nose are similar. Eye color is the same. Sammy looks like he was a bit tan, but it is a black and white picture. Is it worth submitting a tip?
Edit: I'm a novice at this, but I lined up their faces in my graphic design tool and made the image transparent to show both of their features. Their faces line up pretty well... The unidentified has slightly downturned eyes in the rendering though.

Hey guys.
This is my first time trying to find a match but I just can't stop thinking about this case.
So I think there might be a potential match between the missing person Earl Anthony Joggerst, MP43261, and the yet unidentified Long Beach John Doe, #UP4428 on NamUs. Their facial features, height and weight seem very similar.
Furthermore, I have searched on websleuths for more info on Joggerst and there were actually people who went to school with him. They claimed that he had apparently been bullied by other boys and preferred to spend his time with girls, potentially suggesting homosexuality on his part. Furthermore, when he ran away from home, he was accompanied by some Geraldine Hearst and an unknown 30-year old man. As you guys might know, Randy Kraft, who is thought to be responsible for the murder of Long Beach John Doe, was around that age at the time. Also, unlike Joggerst, Geraldine Hearst was found alive in California - which is where Long Beach John Doe was found years later, in an area known for its LGBT-friendly bars and clubs. It seems plausible that Joggerst, with the help of said man, may have succesfully assumed a new identity in California.
Perhaps he was able to live there freely without the abuse of his mother or the bullying due to his sexuality. The murder, which took place in early June of 1978, might have been the result of a homosexual encounter gone wrong, and the fact that he had been strangled strongly suggests that Randy Kraft is responsible for it. His body had also been dumped near a known gay club, Ripples, where Kraft apparently often found his victims. If this John Doe is indeed Joggerst, then he would have been 21-22 years old at the time of his murder, which is consistent with the investigators assumption that the murder victim was a teen or young adult.
If you compare the age progressed picture of Joggerst on Doe Network at https://www.doenetwork.org/cases/5401dmmo.html with the first reconstruction sketch of Long Beach John Doe that can be found at the top of his Doe Network page at https://www.doenetwork.org/cases/1392umca.html, they will look quite similar, with the only slight exception being the shape of his nose.
Also, John Doe's height was estimated to be between 5'7" and 5'11". Joggerst's height was 5'7" at the time of his disappearance, though he might have grown taller since then. Weight-wise, it's 120-145 lbs for John Doe and 140lbs for Joggerst.
What do you guys think? Worth submitting?

An anonymous man terrified heβs about to be named in court papers related to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwellβs alleged child sex trafficking ring is begging a judge not to release his name and identities of others accused β because it could tarnish their reputations, according to a surprise motion filed Tuesday.
Lawyers for the John Doe filed the letter Tuesday β just a day before Epsteinβs self-proclaimed βsex slaveβ Virginia Roberts Giuffre is expected to join her lawyers in court as they continue efforts to unseal thousands of pages of documents related to her civil lawsuit against the dead pedophileβs alleged procuress.
βAs a non-party to these proceedings, Doe lacks specific knowledge about the contents of the Sealed Materials,β his lawyers wrote to Manhattan federal court judge Loretta Preska. βBut it is clear that these materials implicate the privacy and reputational interests of many persons other than the two primary parties to this action, Giuffre and Maxwell.β
The letter goes on to say a prior judge overseeing the case summarized the still-secret documents as containing a βrange of allegations of sexual acts involving Plaintiff and non-parties to this litigation, some famous, some not; the identities of non-parties who either allegedly engaged in sexual acts with Plaintiff or who allegedly facilitated such acts.β
Doeβs lawyers do not say in the papers if he is famous, or what accusations he expects to face in the court papers. His attorneys did not immediately return a message.
Meanwhile, Giuffreβs lawyer David Boies told The Post he expects Wednesdayβs hearing to determine a roadmap for how to deal with the remaining mountain-range of material.
βItβs a whole new set of documents, five to 10 times larger in volume than what has been released so far,β the lawyer said, referring to nearly 2,000 pages of case documents that were made public on Aug. 9 β just a day before Epsteinβs death by suicide at a lower Manhattan jail.
Bois said the still-sealed tranche contains depositions from never-before-heard witnesses, but declined to provide any names.
And he said that while his client is planning to attend, he doubts her legal adversary will appear.
βI donβt think Maxwell will come out of hiding [for the proceeding],β Boies offered. The 57-year-old has been virtually absent from the public eye β or New York City

Case Summary
On the morning of October 15th, 1983, an individual setting and checking fox traps on private property near the town of Rensselaer in Jasper County, Indiana came across what he believed to be human remains. He immediately contacted Jasper County authorities, with responding officer Paul Ricker being the first on the scene.Β Ricker and his colleagues observed partial skeletal remains strewn about the property, with many of the pieces fragmented. After the bone fragments were gathered, they were sent to Jasper Countyβs (then) coroner, Dr. Stephen Spicer. In collaboration with Dr. John Pless of the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, the two would deduce much from the sum of thirty bone fragments recovered.
The victim was estimated to be a white male, approximately 18 to 26 years of age, had shoulder-length reddish-brown hair, stood at an estimated 5β6β (168 cm) to 5β8β (172 cm), and was believed to have previously fractured his left femur. Stainless steel tooth caps were noted at teeth #19 and #30, along with amalgam restorations at #2, #3, and #12. Anthropologist consultation suggests that one of the restored teeth was applied backward. Several articles of clothing were also discovered at the scene, including a gray hooded sweatshirt, a pair of Levi brand jeans and a brown belt in a size 28β,Β gray/burgundy socks, and suede athletic shoes in a size 11 Β½. Additionally, a zippo lighter with the name βARLENEβ engraved onto it was found near the remains. Officials determined that the young man was the victim of a homicide and estimated that he had been deceased for approximately one to two years prior to his discovery. Despite the numerous identifying characteristics, no missing person reports in the area fit the manβs description, nor did anyone claim to know the identity of John Doe.
Not long after this discovery, authorities linked the remains to a rash of murders in Indiana and Illinois, with many of the victims speculated to be hitchhikers, sex workers, and/or were members of the LGBTQ+ community. The murde

The investigation into the murder of Michael Beavers is ongoing. If you have any information about Beavers or his homicide, please contact the ABI Cold Case Investigation Unit at (907) 375-7728 or the main ABI number at (907) 269-5611.
On July 24th, 1989, people on the western side of Fire Island, just southwest of Anchorage, Alaska, made a gruesome find while walking on the beach--a partially-decomposed human body, still dressed in a green t-shirt. Autopsy determined that the body belonged to a White male, likely 30-50 years old, who stood about 6'1" (185 cm) tall and weighed about 180 pounds (81 kg), and had brown or black facial and body hair. He also had an overbite and a long-healed broken nose. He had been dead at least a year before being found; undisclosed evidence on the body showed he had been murdered.
The case of Fire Island John Doe went cold relatively quickly. For months he lay in the morgue as investigators tried to piece together his identity. There were no matches in dental and fingerprint records, and tracing the man's only personal effect, a green Designs Alive t-shirt with a label reading "Capistrane Beach, California," ultimately went nowhere. He was finally buried in Anchorage Municipal Cemetery. In 2002, his DNA samples were sent to CODIS but had no matches.
In 2021, Alaska Bureau of Investigations partnered with the Texas genomics company Othram to identify Fire Island John Doe. After extracting a new, more detailed sample, investigators set about building a family tree with DNA. They didn't have to work for long. Several people showed up as genetic relatives of John Doe. Subsequent genealogical research revealed they were all related to an Alaskan man who had disappeared in 1979. For confirmation, Alaska State Police tracked down an unnamed family member of the man's, who provided a DNA sample for comparison. Their DNA was a suitably close match to Fire Island John Doe.

The skull was found a day after a heavy rain flooded the area. When the searchers went back to the area, more remains, including a pelvis, were found.
Former police chief Kurt Wright said he still had a hard time letting go of the mystery of a skull and other human remains that washed up in 2014 following a series of heavy storms.
The state medical examiner determined that the remains belonged to a white man, who was between 35 to 45 years old, was between 5-foot-6 and 6-foot-1, and likely died sometime between 2009 and 2014. The man also had some well healed fractures to his nose and skull and also a poor dental work, according to a press release from Springdale police in 2014.
A report from the medical examiner's office concluded the fractures were caused either by "a blunt force blow to the right side of the head or the head hitting a blunt object during a fall".
But there were no reports of missing people in the area. More strange, former police chief Kurth Wright said he doesn't remember any unsolved cases that would match the unidentified skeleton. DNA from the skeletal remains sent to Texas has gotten a hit on any databases, including national systems for missing people. "It's just not a normal place to find human remains," Wright said.
Based on the fractures, Wright believed that "it's either a suicide or a homicide."
During that time in 2017, Wright hoped that new leads would be generated by publicly talking about the case again, one that he said he wants to get closure for both the victim's family and himself. Wright also retired from police after 30 years from work.
Apart from that, I couldn't find much on this John Doe. However there was a Websleuths user named YaYa_521 (I don't know if I can link Websleuths website because of its infame in this subreddit) that mentioned the case of Randall Craig Irvin who disappeared in December 16, 2011 from Hurricane, Washington County in Utah. Hurricane is approximately 45 minutes from Virgin, Utah where the remains of John Doe was located. Though YaYa_521 said they didn't found "any reference to prior head or nose injuries nor can I see his teeth to try to determine whether he'd fit the "poor dental work" description" but specualted the injuires could have happened after his disappearance in 2011. They said they would submit Irvin for a comparison.

The boy hitched a ride with a passing motorist and stated he was a runaway with no specific destination. He stated his parents were going through a divorce. The John Doe also stated he would have had to live in an orphanage or join the navy if he stayed at home, despite the fact he appeared not old enough to join the navy. The driver struck a guardrail and the vehicle entered the water below. The driver survived, yet the boy broke his neck in two places and drowned. It is believed he hitched rides with three different motorists prior to his death. One motorist claimed that the decedent had stayed with relatives between Montevallo, Alabama and South Carolina trying to find work but had no luck. Another motorist claimed that he might have connections to the military service and might have been an inmate at an institution.
