The soft footbed sucks. I would love to get some new suede Arizonas in Black and Brown suede but since I can only get them in soft footbed, I’m not going to waste my money. I tried the soft footbed and much prefer my older pair with the hard footbed. It’s really Birkenstock’s claim to fame, the singular thing that makes them special. Huge mistake.
I just received a pair of these and am having the worst rub on the back of my heel. Are there any tricks to breaking these in or are they just not the boots for me?
ETA: for those who don’t know, there are very few barefoot friendly safety toe boots. These can be close to zero drop with modifications.
Hello. Anyone develop any kind of foot issue or injury due to wearing Birkenstocks? I know a person who developed a cyst on the top of their foot, and the doctor indicated it was likely due to wearing Birkenstocks as the cyst lays directly under the top strap (wears Birks daily). I also have foot pain in my lower foot, toe area, and was just recently told Birkenstocks/slides are likely making it worse. Anyone else?
I’m interested in getting these. I like the all black leather look. I was curious why they are $200 and if they are worth it?
It says it uses EVA, but I can only find post comparing EVA to original Cork sole? Which does it have and who does it list both?
Are these as comfortable as the “traditional” ones everyone refers to?

I've been looking into getting some longer lasting shoes than I have in the past (Sketchers that gave out after 2 years). I've heard great things about Birkenstock's from here and know that the Arizona's are easy to resole, but are their other models? The particular ones I'm curious about are the Oswego and the Callan.
Edit: Just in case a google/search brought you here I emailed them directly and apparently those two models are resoleable.
