Jim Hopper (Stranger Things) Puns

Consider:

• grumpy manly men who are frequently found in flannel
• all three are somewhat outdoorsy and can be found by the lake
• spend most of their time being exasperated by the eccentric members of their small towns
• pretend they hate everything, but will do anything for the people they care about
• are frequently seen making or consuming breakfast food
• they fall in love with brunette single moms
• randomly and suddenly acquire daughters during the course of the story and struggle a bit with it
• Ron and Luke are willing to be embarrassed on their behalf of their daughters
• Hopper and Luke are influenced by earlier tragedies: for Luke, the death of his dad, for Hopper, the death of his first daughter
• Hopper and Luke both relish terrifying their daughters boyfriends
• Hopper and Luke's daughters are both socially awkward preteens (for ahem, very different reasons)

Let me preface this by saying that I think the actor who portrayed Billy was fantastic, and he gave so many layers to Billy Hargrove. Billy himself just had a lot of potential as a character. Even though he's dead now, I still would love to discuss this. Now I know many of you guys had mentioned in the past that you'd like to see Steve become a Hawkins deputy, but personally, I think it would have been way more interesting and fitting to have seen Billy fit that role!

Of course, this is only if he went much further down the path of redemption.

Here's why:

1. He had that headstrong rogue attitude that would have actually had him get shit done in town, as opposed to those two guys who just clock in. Hopper needed a go-getter and Billy could have just channeled his energy into focusing on catching the bad guys.
2. He's an athletic/aggressive young man. He looked like the type who would get into fistfights with criminals resisting arrest and whatnot. I could've just seen him going into long foot chases running after villains, or even one of the weaker Russians.
3. He had a cool, fast car. Some cool car chases would have been nice.
4. He is a hit with the ladies, so he could just turn up the charm with various women to gain vital information. Plus, this already happened with Karen so that's not a stretch at all.

I also think that Hopper and Billy would actually have a great father/son-like dynamic. Hopper could mentor him on channeling his anger properly while bonding on the job.

I am a huge fan of Smite and I loved watching Stranger Things several times (waiting for the 4th season, hehe).

It's so good two things are together in the same game.

This is a basic fight. They are equipped with their usual weapons in a plain city. Who would win this sheriff competition?

Also it speeds up with every switch.

Shortly before the events of Stranger Things Jim Hopper is fired from the position of sheriff for being really kind of bad at it, and new in town retired military expert Frank Castle is the only person to volunteer to take over. Is he able to save Will any quicker? How much better or worse is he at being Eleven's adoptive father?
