I was wrong last week about JMU keeping it close vs. Sam Houston, it was not a good game. But this should be (hopefully!)

Game Notes
These two schools don't like each other, it's not a respectful rivalry. PArt of this is due to the culture class (WM thinks of JMU as uninteligent hicks, JMU thinks of WM as D&D playing nerds)
This is just their 36th matchup, JMU leads the all time series 20-16
William and Mary's coach, Jimmye Laycock, has been here for 36 years, this is JMU's coach, Everett Withers, is in his first year
This could be one of the final matchups between these schools, as JMU may eventually try to join the FBS ranks

... keep reading on reddit β‘Since the program seems to be gaining more and more traction, I'm curious as to what y'all's opinions are. Do you think the school is FBS bound? What do they need to do to get there? Any conferences you think they'd look good in?
May 1st is coming up and i literally for the love of God cannot decide. Posting here to get some thoughts from y'all.
Cost : JHU CS - essentially a full ride($85k) PROS : Pretty open curriculum which means i Can do a double BS/MS in CS in 4 yrs, seems pretty appealing considering i'm an international student and have the fullride, more Research i think. CONS: baltimore is meh, it doesn't seem super exciting but can't know forsure, their prestige for bio/international studies ecplises CS?
UW MADISON - got a full ride here too, with some additional stuff like a laptop, stipend. PROS: can't think of any tbh. CONS: Never really vibed with it being a large public school. Harder to standout and find opportunities relative to the other smaller private schools
Duke - they want me to pay 12k, which is 6, times my efc so gonna have to take the about ~$50k loans for the 4 yrs. i've reached out to the fin aid to negotiate but they haven't budged. PROS : Has lots of tech Enterprenuership opps, and a lot of academic freedom. Decent CS career placement into FAANG/unicorns.
CONS : Loans(yes they seem little since CS pays much better but would honestly rather not have to take them if i can go to a comparable school for cheaper), very rich boy/preppy vibe considering i'm FGLI.
Rice - efc here is 8k(incl indirect costs and campus worm study), which is 4 times my efc so about $25k loans for the 4 years.
PROS : Def the residential college system, decent Engineering school but so do all the others w maybe the exception of UW Madison. CONS: Uhh, it seems rather cliquey (confirmed w current students), being in Texas(South) making it harder to get internships, not as wide of a course selection especially in ML(i checked the catalog)
Waitlisted stanford but I don't think i'll get off so i'm gonna ignore that.
Basically for ranking they're all sorta comparable(T20) -- atleast from US News Undergrad ranking for CS. So not a huge issue really.
Interests : i'm currently interested in computational bio/nlp/ml but also a bit of Software Engineering work - distributed systems/networks.
More curious about what y'all think about all of them? Thinking of grad school sometime later on so would appreciate if you have any opinions on grade deflation.
My current preference is Hopkins > Rice > UW Madison> DUKE(bc of the loans i'm gonna have to take which seem unnecessary).
I don't really know what my "fit" is since i'm an intn'l and haven't toured any of the unis

I'm literally torn on what to pick. Posting here to get some thoughts from y'all.
Cost : JHU CS( got the Hodson Scholars thingie + need based aid so essentially a full ride($85k) - rejected BME but open to neuroscience (comp bio track)
UW MADISON - got a full ride here too, with some additional stuff like a laptop, stipend.
Duke - my actual efc is <3k but they left me with twice that and my parents honestly can't afford that much, so gonna have to take the about ~$20k loans for the 4 yrs) i've reached out to the fin aid to negotiate but idk how it'll go.
Rice - my efc here is 2k that i'll use to cover personal expenses so cost isn't a huge issue)
Waitlisted stanford but I don't think i'll get off so i'm gonna ignore that.
Basically for ranking they're all sorta comparable(T20) -- atleast from US News Undergrad ranking for CS. So not a huge issue really.
Interests : i'm currently interested in computational bio/nlp/ml but also a bit of systems.
My questions are :
2)I've read that Hopkins' ML is apparently well regarded, atleast in the academia space, I'm wondering whether that's the case tor industry as well? Had a chance to attend some guest lecture recently by an professor who teaches nlp and he was kinda fun and interesting so there's that.
how easy is it to stack another major while doing cs? I'm thinking cs + neuroscience or ams with a minors in Enterprenuership, does that sound feasible without ap credits?
Ik Hopkins is pretty huge on Research (pretty much why I applied) but like how accessible is undergrad Research specifically in CS labs?
How's the tech Enterprenuership community here? This is one of the few things that makes me more attracted to Duke but idk much about Hopkins in that regard so would appreciate some insight.
6)is there Grade Deflation? What's the average GPA for CS? And how easy is to register for classes here?
I think those are mostly the questions i'm curious about. I'm literally 50/50 on all choices haha, leaning abit more on Duke(despite the loans lmao)so i'd really appreciate some big pros about Hopkins that I might have missed/unaware.
