A list of puns related to "Italian Fascism"

I've read and enjoyed several books about the history of fascism in Germany (Rise and Fall, the Third Reich trilogy by Richard Evans, The German Dictatorship etc). But I haven't come across anything similar dealing with Italian fascism. To clarify, I'm primarily interested in the ideology of fascism, how fascists gained state power, and what actual day to day life was like for people in fascist Italy and occupied territories and less interested in military centered history. I have like a Wikipedia/high school history level of education on the subject so while I'm not opposed to reading academic texts I'd also appreciate recommendations for like semi learned books on the subjects. (This post was originally going to be titled "is there an equivalent to the Third Reich Trilogy for fascist Italy?"

Throughout the nation, Italians awoke to the final tallying of the vote:
SOCIALIST WAVE AT POLLS, KING REFUSES COALITION PRIME MINISTER
A most peculiar deal had been struck in the months leading up to the election. Futurists, Left Fascists, and many others who espoused a nationalistic tilt on the egalitarian programs of Socialism began to gain ground at a rapid pace.
While not being especially competitive in this election, their rhetoric and ideology has taken center stage in the public imagination. A incredible campaign in Southern Italy mobilizing previously untargeted farm laborers and nationalist parts of the north has resulted in a shock 12 seat win for the Fascists. At home, they call for a focus on the Italian worker and farmer, passionately detailing his struggles to put decent pasta on the table in the milieu of unemployment and exploitation. Specific Foreign Policy rhetoric that has become common among nationalist Italians includes the formal annexation of the dodecanese, utilizing our colonial empire to fully benefit the Italian Nation, and weighs heavily against the idea of accepting any wrong answers from the upcoming referenda. Fiume and Italian Carinthia are to them already and indisputably parts of our nation. Veterans also feature prominently in this party, and rhetoric swirls that Italian blood, once shed, claims that land forever for our Nation. This has led to amicable relations with the Italian Combatants Party before the election.
The group, headed by former socialist and veteran Benito Mussolini, came to form a coalition with the Italian Socialist Party. After a long, bloody war borne on the backs of the poor, after decades of agricultural failures and plodding economic growth, Italy is filled to the bursting point with hunger, fear, and passion. This coalition, nearly entirely dependent on the backing of unions and the working class, has now clearly won a majority in Parliament.
And the king has refused to name a socialist OR nationalist as Prime Minister. In the following days, all hell broke loose. Francesco Saverio Nitti was appointed Prime Minister despite the liberals complete defeat in the election.
Factory occupations had already been rocking northern Italy. This accelerated into seizures as even more barricades were thrown up. Two weeks a
... keep reading on reddit β‘Hello! Iβve read a few non-fiction books about Nazi Germany and WWII (mostly from a historical point of view) but I realized today that I hadnβt read any similar books about Mussoliniβs Italy. I am looking for a history of the regime rather than a political discussion of fascism itself but I will accept recommendations of the latter kind as well. I should add that I am looking for books written in or translated to English only.
So, please give me your recommendations! Thanks!
How many Italians support fascism nowadays? Do you have any sources that show how many Italians worship this ideology? What's your opinion about Mussolini and fascism?
