I am reading A Treatise on Human Nature and got stuck on his argument why time must be composed of indivisible moments. In particular, I don't understand how he relates the existence of indivisible moments as an idea to the, what seems to be, objective existence of indivisible moments of time. Why is this an adequate representation of reality and not just a limitation of our mind? I suppose that because our mind is a computer, it requires a minimum time to do a computation which means we could never experience infinite divisibility and therefore never create an idea of infinite divisibility.
I'm reading Hume by myself and would also appreciate any references that could help me through his work when I get stuck in the future, if anyone could provide those.

Is it possible? On a similar note, can something be infinitely small, like a singularity? Infinitely large? Is infinity actually something that's possible? I was having a philosophical conversation with someone and they mentioned that something could not be infinitely divided because it would cease to exist. This didn't really make sense to me because of my previous knowledge of singularities, universe expansion, etc., but I couldn't support my side with evidence. Help?

Many people in the crypto world recommend to move your assets to cold wallets. I understand how that is done and why.
But it's much more productive for trading, and easier for day to day life, to keep my assets in the Binance spot wallet.
Actually, I am thinking to move much more of my money into Binance. Inflation is killing my Fiat anyway.
But I wonder if this is really as risky as people say. I don't see the chance of Binance getting hacked bigger than the chance of my actual Bank getting hacked. Binance makes so much money that they probably have a level of security that touches the sky. And as long as I keep my 2FA and don't fall into phishing traps, I will be fine.
The only potential issue I see is, a normal Bank is more regulated and I have the guarantee that a certain amount of my money will be recovered even if the Bank disappears. With Binance, if it disappears... I guess I will lose everything.
But... does such a chance exist at all? Is it greater than the chance of the whole society collapsing anyway?
CONCLUSION AFTER READING YOUR AWESOME COMMENTS:
Binance is pretty secure. But: it will sometimes turn off withdrawals for certain coins (you can still trade though), they sometimes lock/freeze accounts for unknown reasons and their support/communication is not the best.
It's good to keep your trading money in there but it's objectively safer to put your HODL and staking money out into a self owned wallet. If you don't like cold wallets you should at least spread your assets into multiple exchanges.
And, always remember: "Not your keys, not your coins".
Reasons to tank the price:
1.) They will actually need to start covering things soon.
2.) Create options FUD. "Don't buy options" crap.
3.) Friday is the last chance to kill the options chain. XRT will no longer be able to be shorted.
People need to keep asking themselves over and over again these questions:
1.) Why would the price increase in the afterhours at the start $15 on a measly 2242 shares?
2.) Why was a half-assed news article released following it?
3.)Could it be a FOMO rugpull or did Gamestop actually release news?
My thoughts: 2242 shares in 1 minute increased the price $15 and they didn't fight it at all. They released fake news to confirm the price increase. I want to present the case we have a very high probability of a crash tomorrow based on technical indicators. Everything looks almost exactly similar to the market right before the Christmas rally on the December 20th. On that date, the market tanked almost 3%.
Today's market looks exactly like that. We had previously bounced weakly off the 50dma, forming a rising wedge. The rising wedge then broke down to a chart full of air pocket gaps on the way up.
Again, I am not saying this will happen for sure, but the set-up on the charts almost looks exactly like that. On 12/20, the vix spiked up to almost 28 and the SPX dropped close to 130 points.

Update: RIP my 2k, was starting to happen and got pegged to death by the SF fed Daly right as the SPX was breaking down on the 50 dma and NDX was breaking down on the 100 dma. I still think it will happen in the next couple of days, so more money to be lost on puts next week.
