A list of puns related to "Indoor bonsai"
Hey all, I recently sprouted a bunch of white oak acorns and looking to make them into bonsai/forrest bonsai.
i've never kept plants at all, this is my first try. But I found a bunch of moss in the parking lot of my job and I want to try growing that too since I think it'll make them look better while they're growing.
Anyway. I'm looking for advice in growing both the white oaks and the moss. I'm researching a lot but nothing compares to the opinions of people with actual experience.
I'm most interested in how to get the saplings through transplant shock( I didn't know I had to sterilize the soil and had to replant them after sterilization) and how to propagate the moss in a way that benefits the trees. Id ideally like to be able to take moss and eventually put it on individual bonsai. i've heard conflicting opinions about the moss adding or detracting from growth and id love to hear what you have to say.
Heres a pic of what I'm currently working with. I know there's no guarantee the moss I added today will survive but anything that can increase my odds is appreciated. https://imgur.com/gallery/NCSFZDG
Even if only one tree survives that I can bonsai that'll be good enough for me. But I would ideally like as many to survive as possible while also growing aesthetic moss. Help! Lmao
