Anytown, USA is a new podcast where we choose a random county in the continental USA and try to find the most interesting history we can about it. On our very first episode, the pen fell on Anderson, Indiana and lead us to delve into the Great Indiana Gas Boom of the late 19th century. tybannerman.podbean.com/e…

In 1930 the Indiana Bell building was rotated 90Β°. Over a month, the 22-million-pound structure was moved 15 inch/hr... all while 600 employees still worked there. There was no interruption to gas, heat, electricity, water, sewage, or the telephone service they provided. No one inside felt it move.

Gas range oven boom during pre-heat after replacing igniter

Changed GE XL44 gas range oven igniter (bake igniter on the bottom).

Tested with the oven door, grill racks, bottom drawer, and base plate removed, everything works fine. Igniter glows, fire comes on ~2sec after the gas is supplied.

However, after putting the oven door, grill racks, bottom drawer, and base plate back. During the pre-heating, it seems that the flame didn't come on immediately. After quite a while (30sec maybe), there is a booming sound, and the door was even blown open for 2 inches. It's a mini-explosion to me.

After research, I think it's because of delayed ignition.

Question, why I'm getting this?

  1. Is it because of ignitor vs valve incompatibility?
  1. I bent the ignitor while installation. Because my "common sense" told me it's too far away from the gas bar. Here is an illustration diagram.

https://preview.redd.it/5lf2ffq6gw681.png?width=549&format=png&auto=webp&s=bee557cae7884b545a39d150371a3defdbe20c27

The other reason that I bent it because the original (broken) ignitor was really close to the gas bar. See below:

Any help is greatly appreciated! thank you!

[WTS][US-GA][H] Audeze LCD-2 Classic w/ boom mic [W] $550 shipped PayPal

Sold

Up for sale is a B-Stock LCD-2C w/boom mic. Looking for $500 shipped. I purchased these in 2019 and the only issue I can see with them now is the same reason I think they were labeled b stock, there is a "notch" on the head band. I included pictures that show what it looks like with light reflecting on it and what it looks like in normal light. I can't feel it when I rub my finger over it but if anyone needs another picture let me know.

https://imgur.com/a/nYXEJyC

I used these for about 2 months when I got them, decided I would go through about 10 headphones, and then went back to these for about two more months. They have been collecting dust since that time. I used the mic about 5 times for a work meeting or two and playing some PlayStation which worked wonderfully.

If you have any questions ask away.

Edit 1: have original box in perfect shape for shipping. Also dropped the price.

Edit 2: Sold to u/migszmigz for lowered asking price.
