A list of puns related to "Indian units of measurement"
A (s)entimeter
Mine's "a nipplehair"
Fuckton is a close second
BTC has Satoshi. ETH has gwei. Are there smaller units of measurement for ALGO? I was thinking there would be one for .001 as it is the transaction fee. Has one been designated already? If not, any suggestions?
Iβm Australian and used to working in kgs but decided to switch to lbs to shake things up a bit. My scale can easily switch over to lbs with the press of a button so I thought why not. Iβm not sure Iβll explain this properly but I feel like because my scale counts in .x increments that weighing in lbs gets me a slightly more precise measurement than kgs.
Iβve been trying to lose this weight for everrr and I feel like switching to a slightly more confusing unit of measurement has sort of reset things in my brain and it feels like a fresh start in a way π And Iβm not as triggered by the numbers because I donβt have any memories or associations with them like I do with the kg numbers.
Itβs fun getting to watch the numbers on the scale move around a lot more and the satisfaction of losing a couple of lbs is making me want to stay disciplined and keep going because Iβm getting more of those small wins.
Just thought Iβd put the idea out there in case it helps anyone.
I'm try to set the kwh price in node red
I created an input_number, and node red set the value at 23:00 and again at 08:00.

however when I go to Configuration/Energy and try to set the price to an entity I have this error
Unexpected unit of measurement
Translation Error: The intl string context variable "currency" was not provided to the string "The following entities do not have the expected units of measurement ''{currency}/kWh'', ''{currency}/Wh'' or ''{currency}/MWh'':"
input_number.current_electricity_price
UPDATE:
I find I figured out, I changed the unit of measurement of my input.number to $/kWh (actually need to change to β¬ btw). no error so far

For example my lunch break is one Blue Banister.
Planck units are the most natural units ever. They should be adjusted to the common human scales of measurement. For example 10^35 Planck lengths (ie. 1.6*10^(-35) m) should be a standard unit of length. 1 billionth of the Planck unit of energy should be the standard unit for the same and so on. You know, it just looks more clean and precise, and will definitely make calculations easier.

Love to see the home assistant export come to life!
Any way to break out the export such that for example, the number of steps is passed as an integer vs. a string?
Use case is I want to export this (and other metrics) to influx so I can track in perpetuity as well as likely create some alerts
