A list of puns related to "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud"
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazedβand gazedβbut little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
...when all at once I saw a crowd, and desir'd at once many chats and meets"
Hi, thanks for clicking on my post! I hope you enjoyed the little fragment of ridiculous poetical pastiche :)
I'm 35 and I'm an English teacher just outside Cambridge, and I'm looking for my muse. That's right, I'm looking for a woman who can inspire me and inspire any equally ridiculous poetry that I write!
I'm just over six foot with short brown hair and light-coloured eyes. I love swimming, walking and yoga, and looking after myself with the objective of keeping slim and toned. When I'm not teaching, I love reading (mostly classics); writing my own fiction and poetry (serious this time); cooking and sharing it with friends and family; spending time in the countryside; and playing all sorts of musical genres on the guitarΒ :) If you fancy chatting, then please send me a DM or a chat message wherever in the world you are :)
I had no idea it would be such an alienating costume.

It's like this for all 4 Stanzas
Example:
Continuous as the stars that shine And twinkle on the milky way, They stretched in never-ending line Along the margin of a bay: Ten thousand saw I at a glance, Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
Been learning about imitations lately and started playing around with them.
"I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud"
I wandered lonely as a cloud
but wandering was not allowed.
My legs stretched out for sprightly dance
but seemingly I'd missed the chance.
My time was needed stuck indoors
to get what's mine as you do yours.
Because I had places to be
without the time to stop and see
the willows nor their sprightly dance
as life affords no second chance.
If wishes are but Words with worth,
my mind it traipses βlong the Earth.
and wondβring if Iβll have the chance
to take part in the sprightly dance
or if I'm cursed to sit and ponder
when I'll find the time to wander.
I have been in Charleston for a couple of weeks. Today, after living in a company paid stay at The Hampton Inn -- I have finally found an apartment. Colonial Grand at Cypress Cove.
Moving to Charleston was the first real "adult" decision I have made after graduating college last May. Finally getting an apartment has made it all the more real.
So my questions:
Best place to find affordable furniture. I left Knoxville TN with only my car and clothes. I need to get bedroom set, living room furniture, etc.
Secondly, I know nothing about art. But I know that supporting local artists is awesome! Albeit, my budget isn't large, but where is a good place to start finding some stuff for my apartment?
Any and all help is very much appreciated. I look forward to discovering the city!
Travel, travel, and more travel
Lord Blackbar wondered when was the last time he actually slept in his own bed at Bandallon? It seemed ages ago. 315 AC was such a busy time in the Reach, traveling to the Rose League, King's Landing, Sunhouse, Sunhouse again; and it was only the 8th month.
However, Ancel shouldn't complain, weddings and festivals are always joyish and wonderful times. A plus the trip to King's Landing let Ancel and Juliana see their two sons again. It was almost a year beforehand that he last saw Atticus and Lucas.
And then there was Ainsley, she was too young to travel to all these celebrations, and so Ancel didn't get to spend as much time with her at he wish he could. It was not just Ancel, he realized. For Juliana told him before they were supposed to head out to Sunhouse again that she was going to stay at Bandallon with Ainsley instead of going to the wedding.
And so Ancel was traveling to Sunhouse with just one Bandallon guard. It was a sad and lonely trip...
"Lord, look up ahead!" Ancel's guard exclaimed.
What Ancel saw, made him forget about his family for a few moments. For Ancel saw a crowd, a host, of golden daffodils; beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
