It may be called "Grayson Allen is a lil bitch" too
It is taking me way too long to get 75 points with this stupid card. Just needed to vent about it :)
I'm not the biggest sports fan, but I only remember him as the only college player on the 1992 Olympic basketball dream team. Now ESPN is putting out a documentary just on how hated he is. And most people I see commenting on this doc are echoing the hatred. What did he do to deserve all this?
Scoring 75 points with this card should give you an opal itself. Nightmares of Ralph Sampson.
The 2002-03 team had an older MJ, Oakley, Laettner, and Bryon Russell, but if they were in their primes during that season with Jerry Stackhouse, Larry Hughes, and Tyronn Lue, what would be the teams regular season record?
Sorry for a possibly dumb question. I'm not old enough to remember when Laettner played. I just watched his 30 for 30 (highly recommend), and it talks about how he was one of the greatest college players ever (true?). Looked like he could do it all: A big man who played physically and could shoot it from deep.
I'm a huge fan of KAT and have loved how his game has progressed, but it looks like Laettner was KAT before KAT. Laettner looked like he was ahead of his time, so I'm just wondering why he didn't work out as well in the NBA.
13 seasons averaging 12.8 ppg isn't bad, but obviously not as good as his college numbers. What happened? League wasn't ready for that type of player?
I mean I assume he'll be a 94-95 but he was the worst player on the dream team but to his credit everybody else is in the hall of fame lol. Or I wonder if they troll us and make him super good because they did have an amy Brian Scalabrine last year so you never know with 2k.
So I am creating some old college teams to play on 2k and I noticed Laettnerβs senior stats. They are ridiculous! He averaged 21 and 8 with 2 steals, a block, on 57/56/81 shooting splits as a CENTER! And he took 2.8 threes a game which back then was pretty significant for a big man. I knew he was good at Duke but I didnβt realize he was THAT good! TBH I kind of always just thought of him as the annoying white dude who starred at Duke and rode the bench for the Dream Team. But he had one of the most efficient college seasons I can remember. He would fit perfectly in todayβs game as a college player and a pro.
