The District Docklands, an urban ghost town.
Had a little stay-cation at 4 points Sheraton (great pool by the way) and couldn't help but notice how desolate and emply the district docklands has become.
So many empty shops, no major retail brands can seem to stay, all that's left are some gift shops and staple stores.
A few years ago this place felt so much more... alive?
Using Districts / Urban Quarters / Stadtviertel (DE)
When adding something to Apple Maps it’s possible to select Stadtviertel (in German). Probably translated to district or urban quarter in English.
Does anyone of you know how this information can be searched for? Using it as kind of a search category doesn’t work. I‘ve reported all Stadtviertel of my city, but nothing. Think they should be put in relation to the city anyway (obviously not possible when reporting).

Question about English “Urban District Councils”
Were employment/personnel records kept of those that worked for the UD Councils- and if so, how might I go about obtaining one for my ancestor? These are quasi government jobs, correct?
My ancestor lived in Golborne/Lowton/Ashton in Makerfield area, Lancashire, working as a Highway Watchman, so whichever council he worked for was surely around that area.
