A list of puns related to "House of Gold & Bones β Part 1"
Here's the first part of the third novel, Book of Yuno! You can read my translation of it here:
I feel like this material really compliments what's going on in the manga right now, though I wish I managed to put this out sooner.
Here's the second half of chapter 1 from Book of Yuno! You can read my translation of it here:
It seems like the manga is moving away from Yuno's group and back toward the Black Bulls, but these chapters are still filled with Golden Dawn goodness. And a lot of Yami and Asta. Come to think of it, this is more Asta than what we've been getting in the manga recently. Huh.

#Bronn is Maron Greyjoy This is the first in a series of five posts which will argue that Balon Greyjoy's oldest sons, Rodrik and Maron, are not actually dead, and that Rodrik Greyjoy is living as Lem Lemoncloak, and Maron Greyjoy is living as Bronn of the Blackwater.
While this series will eventually argue that Maron was involved in Rodrik's "death" at Seagard, which likely played into the reasons both men decided to/were forced to "die" and take new names in exile, a discussion of this backstory will have to wait. This post will simply discuss the many hints we're given that Bronn is Maron Greyjoy.
##A Bronn-ish Pirate's Bronn-ish Japes Why does Snatch remind Tyrion of Bronn? >Snatch chewed his sourleaf, making japes and scratching at his balls with his hook hand. Something about his manner reminded Tyrion of Bronn. (WOW Ty I)
First of all, it must be said that Snatch's "hook hand" makes him look like a stereotypical pirate. The ironborn are, of course, essentially a people of pirates. Euron Greyjoy, with his eyepatch, which makes him look like a stereotypical pirates, is "as black a pirate as ever raised a sail." (SOS C V) It thus makes metatextual sense that a guy who looks like Captain Hook reminds Tyrion of Bronn if Bronn is ironborn, and especially if he's Euron's nephew.
That said, Snatch surely reminds Tyrion of Bronn mainly because Bronn japes. (I'll skip the citations here, and you should feel to skip the quotations and trust me when I say, "They're all japes.") >"I have never fought with an axe."β¦
>"Pretend you're splitting logs," Bronn said
>"I've better things to do than pile rocks on dead men β¦ breathing, for one."
>"I'll take first watch β¦ for all the good it will do us. It might be kinder to let them kill us in our sleep."
>"Where's your love of music, Bronn?"
>"If it was music you wanted, you should have gotten the singer to champion you."
>"Where did you find her?" Tyrion asked [Bronn] as he pissed.
>"I took her from a knight. The man was loath to give her up, but your name changed his thinking somewhat β¦ that, and my dirk at his throat."
>"Splendid," Tyrion said dryly, shaking off the last drops. "I seem to recall saying find me a whore, not make me an enemy."
>"The pretty ones were all

###Prefatory Note This post assumes you are familiar with the earlier "chapters" of my [Secret History of House Martell]. It assumes especially that you know that (I believe) Oberyn is Aerys II's son, but also that I think Elia was Jaehaerys II's daughter, that Archmaester Marwyn is a Martell (Doran, Oberyn and Elia's uncle), and that Marwyn's brother Prince Lewyn Martell is alive and living as Elder Brother of Quiet Isle, lately re-guising himself as Ser Morgarth the Merry. It likewise assumes you know that (I believe) Taena is Oberyn's daughter and that Arianne and Trystane were also sired by Oberyn, not Doran.
It assumes you're familiar with why (I believe) these things are true, and thus with my general belief that the text is a carefully cultivated, highly encoded, rich tapestry of verbiage and wordplay whose "rhymes" communicate far more than what's conveyed by the narrative, per se.
##My Hypotheses The remaining chapters in my Secret History of House Martell series explore hypotheses that are highly interdependent. Rather than trying to argue each new hypothesis in total isolation from those "yet to be revealed", I've decided to state the broad outlines of everything I will be arguing in the rest of the series here and now, before delving into the topic of this particular chapter: Daario's paternity.
Accordingly, the remaining posts in my Secret History of House Martell will argue the following:
Olenna Redwyne's infamously broken betrothal to Prince Daeron Targaryen was not her only involvement with a Targaryen Prince. Before she married Luthor Tyrell, Olenna became paramour to Aerion Brightflame's son Prince Maegor Targaryen, who per normal agnatic primogeniture should have been the King of Westeros.
Aware of Prince Maegor and Olenna's affair (and perhaps Olenna's resulting pregnancy), King Aegon V appointed his nephew Maegor (who was Aegon's older brother Aerion's only son) to his Kingsguard, thus preventing Maegor from (a) marrying Olenna, (b) having legitimate children and (c) claiming the throne.
Olenna nonetheless bore Maegor a daughter and a son, who were almost certainly fraternal twins.
Maegor and Olenna's daughter was named Serra. Their son is now Varys.
Serra was given to the Faith in Oldtown. Varys

I know there are a few other posts out there similar to this, but I figured I would also give my two cents. This is the first informational post I have decided to write. I just wanted to share my experience with running Curse of Strahd. So far, I have really enjoyed the sand-box feel of Curse of Strahd. I have always been a homebrew campaign DM. We got to a very nice conclusion point in our homebrew game and I suggested to the group that we run a module as a side campaign while I work on more content for the homebrew campaign. So I decided to use Curse of Strahd. I also apologize if I restate other peoples ideas that have been posted months/years ago. I scoured through reddit months before we started the campaign and may have unintentionally used an idea someone else has suggested.
Pre-game: I started by sending a background questionnaire to all the players. The questionnaires weren't super long or complex. I used them to get more player involvement and attachment to their characters. I had players list dark moments in their characters' pasts and anything else I felt like I might be able to use for roleplaying with Strahd later on. I also generally leave it up to the players when a new campaign starts to already have a reason to be travelling together. I also went ahead and pre-selected a lot of the music that I wanted to have playing during the game. There are many Youtubers that have original pieces to use. Two of my favorites that I have used for this campaign are Peter Gundry and Adrian von Ziegler. I cannot stress how important this was in keeping players in the mood and feel of the game. I started the party out as level 2. I figured that should give them a small buffer of hp since most of the encounters in Death House can be quite deadly if ran as described in the book. I didn't level them to 3 until they made it out of Death House and rested.
Plot Hook: I used a combination of both the Mysterious Visitor and Werewolf plot hooks. I used Arrigal as a lone Vistani that comes into the tavern they were at and drops off the "letter" from Indirovich. I wanted it to be a named Vistani that I thought they would run into again once they got into Barovia. They also already had other interests to venture into the Svalich Woods because of some of their backstories.
Death House: I utilized Death House as the starting adventure. I believe the best adv
