A list of puns related to "House (astrology)"
Something i read
It's confusing. Some articles on the internet say it's the 9th house, others say it's the 7th house itself no matter how many marriages you have. What is your opinion?
Almost two months ago, I made a thread with some basic descriptions for the signs of the zodiac. I got a lot of positive feedback on that post, and since a few people asked me to make another one on the houses, I decided to get that done today. Houses are one of the four pillars of astrology alongside planets, signs, and aspects, but theyβre often watered down or disregarded when discussed in popular content. While I would like to jump right into describing each house, I think itβs important to talk about what the houses are before I list what they signify.
Houses are the regions of the local sky β both above and below the horizon β that the planets are located in. While the zodiac shows us where planets are in space relative to the Earth, houses show us what parts of space are visible in the sky at a given time and location. Just as there are twelve signs of the zodiac, there are twelve houses, and all twelve exist in a horoscope.
Houses represent lived experiences, topics, and other people or entities with respect to whatever a chart is studying. In natal astrology, a house can represent you, your mother, your partner, your job, your environment, your beliefs, and more. It can represent experiences of gain and loss, sickness and health, publicity and solitude, and so on. When we interpret a chart, we focus on a house to center a certain experience. Then, we assess the planet ruling that house and the planets in that house to determine the qualities of that experience and when itβll play out in someoneβs life. This is why houses are so important in astrology. Without them, you canβt determine where a planet is being expressed.
One of the most important things to understand about the houses is their rationale. While there are some overlapping significations between different signs and houses, houses do not get their meanings from the signs. This sign-house conflation β commonly known as the ABC model or the twelve letter alphabet β was developed in the early 20th century following the revival of astrology. It changed how we understand the houses in modern times, and it ultimately doesnβt work when youβre delineating a chart using techniques. Houses get their meanings from a number of interacting factors, including diurnal rotation, angularity, aspects to the ascendant, planetary joys, their relationship to othe
... keep reading on reddit β‘Like for example a lot of people think that the 12th house is about x but itβs actually about y and x is more an accurate description of the 8th house and not the 12th.

Letβs say someone has a Scorpio 5th house with Jupiter, but Mars is the malefic planet and itβs the lord of the 5th. Or, in a night chart, Venus is placed in the 7th house in Capricorn, making Saturn the lord.
Does something like this negate the benefic? Iβm plodding through Chris Brennanβs book right now but I havenβt read anything yet that answers this question.
It Taurus apart
Hi everybody! I am new to astrology so anything I say know I am not trying to misinform, I'm just asking from my new understanding of astrology. Also can you let me know if I'm misreading my chart?
I feel like I am constantly having this battle of never knowing who I truly am and from a young age have felt deeply insecure. Is there anything in my chart that might explain this?
What can I take away that my Sun (Taurus) and Venus (Taurus) are in the same house (12th), Moon (Gemini) and Rising (Gemini) are in the same house (1st), and then my True Node(Virgo) and Chiron (Libra) are in the same house (5th)?
Thanks for understanding that I am new and have many questions. Please be patient :)

Iβm sorry if u not into this, just ignore if thatβs the case. Iβm just really interested to see if that would be a trend. 12th house rules isolation and everything hidden from the world as well as self sabotage. I have moon (emotions) and mercury (communication) in there.
