Synopsis: Kate and Jeannette's worlds collide as the court date arrives, finally forcing the two young women to answer the question on everyone's mind, but the answer comes with a price that not everyone can pay.
Hello! I was looking for some kind of advice or opinions on this situation that one of my relatives is struggling with and it's stressing her out.
Back in 2007, my relative had a neighbor that installed a fence around their yard. However, they intentionally overstepped their property line and installed the fence on my relative's property, which was about a couple of feet. They explained that they needed to install the fence where they put it to make more room for their dogs in the yard. My relative is timid and doesn't like confrontation, so at the time, she didn't cause too much of a scene about it and reluctantly allowed them to do it. My relative did mention to them that if she ever needed to make changes that the fence would need to be removed. This was a verbal discussion, however, my relative had sent them letters and texts advising this same thing over the years about it because getting to certain parts of the house now required her to go into their yard. They were regularly told about the inconvenience.
Fast forward 2021, my relative is planning on selling the house and has decided to renovate her fencing. When she kindly advised the neighbors about this construction, she was met with a hostile reaction. The neighbors are now arguing saying that it is their property and they had the land surveyed to confirm it. However, they refuse to show the paperwork for it. They are now also saying that the fence there was maintained since 1994, which is not true because the fence was replaced and moved intentionally in 2007. The plot plans show that the property they took is infact my relative's land. My relative is getting a surveyor to confirm the property space and to register the verification. When she advised the neighbors of this, the neighbor's husband aggressively went to the house and intimidated her. Slamming on the door and giving her a hard time. My relative called the police because she felt threatened and has the report for the incident. They have been gaslighting her and telling her that she is sneaky and conniving when my relative has communicated everything she has been planning to do with them properly. The surveyor advised that they will be verifying the property line at the end of the month. When this was communicated to the neighbors, the neighbors were caught in their back yard discussing the idea of making it difficult for the surveyor to get the measurements and moved one of their back yard structures in a way that blocks part of the

I saw an article on seeking alpha today slamming amc, the usual FUD but this came on strong here's a link...
https://www.google.com/amp/s/seekingalpha.com/amp/article/4424662-amc-vs-cinemark-stock-2021
The article says "AMC VS CINEMARK"?? OH A pissing contest hey I wonder who's in favour? Anyway they say shit like "AMC punished shareholders with dilution" yada yada yada all kinds of bullshit which literally made me spit my tea out in laughter. The article is full of FUD against AMC but in favour of Cinemark??
I dig a little deeper into Cinemark tikr symbol CNK, Lo and behold what do we find? Some connections to the shitweb of wallstreet. Here's why I think it all ties in with AMC.
CNK Cinemark partnered with Universal and made a deal , we will discuss this further on.... Universal is owned by Comcast through NBCUuniversal and guess what folks CNBC'S sister company Is Universal.
We all know the bullshit and FUD that comes out of CNBC a the agendas behind the crap they come out with Jim Cramer being a prime example and all these people are in bed together??? Hmmm
CNBC interview with Mark Zoradi CEO of Cinemark:
https://youtu.be/UqDJCZVbX3w
After all this I read the article on a deal regarding AMC, Cinemark and universal
Deal link there is more info surrounding this :
https://www.google.com/amp/s/variety.com/2020/film/news/cinemark-universal-theatrical-window-shortened-pvod-1234833162/amp/
The Deal...so Universal made a pact with AMC that gave Universal the (Option) to put new movies on digital rental service after 17 days of release, then a deal was made with Cinemark and the new terms would spill over to AMC? I think the plan was to leave AMC in the dust that's why AMC terminated it's deal with Universal due to hostilities haha Google it!! They tried to make a dirty deal and fuck AMC.
The plot thickens let's take a look at Cinemark CNK share price over the pandemic and see how it looks compared to AMC shall we...The share price of CNK was around $35 as the lockdowns began to hit USA then dropped all the way to $5.71 now its bounced back up and is happily floating at $21.12 a share ??? La di da di daaa πΆ......I wonder why. Isn't this what AMC should look like? But don't forget the turbulence AMC is going through after all it's heavily shorted and bet against CNK seems to be fine tho go check out the charts and borrow data. CNK seems to be high and dry some on

I think on r/PublicFreakout I saw a video posted where a group of guys in a car are shooting a rap music video. an older white woman walks up to the car, slams on the hood, and says " What are you guys doing here? Where are you from ". The guys looking intimidated and act confused and say "shooting a music video"
The older white lady gets excited and says "well can I join?!" The guys in the video go wild and the next frame has the older white woman partying with all of them lmao. Obviously it was a setup. I've looked for a few weeks but for the life of me can't find it.
Every time I get into a heated argument with someone I donβt know that well, I find that adrenaline just rushes through my body to the point where Iβm useless. I start to stutter and shake, itβs not that Iβm scared at all, I just canβt stay calm. It seems if the confrontation were to lead to a fight, I would most certainly lose because I just canβt think with all that adrenaline.
So after YEARS of only coming on here to look up certain things to help me with certain situations (ex: pregnancy and EDS, good aids and hacks for EDS), I finally get a Reddit account to participate and talk to others and it seems so hostile.
Nobody can asks questions on here without being harassed about how/if they were diagnosed. It seems like a lot of people on here think people are "illness fakers". I get scared to even leave posts up after getting a helpful response, because I know someone is going to say something hostile or accusatory that will then further my refusal to talk about or get further treatment for something that has literally destroyed my body.
Why are so many people like this? Do you realize how embarrassing and traumatizing it is for a lot of people trying to deal with these kinds of issues? Do you remember what it feels like to have a doctor tell you it was all in your head, when you were actually severely injured? It's even worse when it happens here because the people who are supposed to "support" you and be your "community" are doing it.
Of course nobody can "diagnose" anyone on here. Yes, the "I'm really flexible but I have no issues, should I get a diagnosis" posts are annoying. But why does EVERY post, no matter the topic or question, have to have people requiring diagnosis information? Or accusatory questions of illness faking?
Disabled people don't owe anyone an explanation of their medical history unless they WANT to provide that information.
People come here for help and a sense of belonging.
Give a helpful answer, or don't say anything at all. This is truly childish and elitist behavior that is destructive to innocent people.
(I'm going to bed, but I expect this post to either get taken down, or have a copious amount of hate comments in the morning)
Did I ever tell you about the time I got invited to Hell?
I did once, you know. A sapient creature made up of pure hellfire and radiation asked if I wanted to visit his home. Well, myself and the rest of the crew of the Distant Knowledge. Let me see if I can make you understand how problematic this wouldβve been for us. This was a world where molten dihydrogen monoxide fell from the sky and pooled ocean-like over most of the surface of the land, and there was an atmosphere made up mainly of oxygen-two and nitrogen-two, so hot that it had been boiled into vapour.
Yes; vapour. I am not making this up. Their planet is so close to their star that their life arose from carbon compounds, if you can believe it. Worse; they inhale the vapourised oxygen-two and nitrogen-two as a part of their life cycle. It turns my tentacles limp just thinking about it.
I personally had trouble with the notion until I learned that their resting temperature is so high that they can melt dihydrogen monoxide at a touch, and in fact choose to ingest it on a regular occasion. It makes up the majority of their circulatory fluids. They do not consider it a mineral so much as a transitory material, more usually seen in its molten state.
So if they breathe rock vapour and casually bathe (yes, bathe) in molten lava, what, you might ask, do they actually build things out of?
The answer to that scared two of our scientists so badly that they went puce for three whole cycles. You see, these hell-creatures are able to easily work materials that are so far down at the bottom of our periodic table that itβs just not worth even trying. They can create and utilise compounds containing iron, and even titanium. I swear upon my progenitors, I am not making this up.
I donβt even want to think about the temperatures involved.
Worse, their table also includes the Forbidden Materials, more of them than weβd ever expected to understand. They are able to handle these materials without exploding. In fact, Iβm pretty sure they had samples with them that would have spelled doom to our ship just by coming close to us.
So, where did we meet these horror creatures, and how did we get out a
... keep reading on reddit β‘My graduate department is hosting, as a mandatory seminar, a discussion on the film Picture a Scientist, which details the stories of 3 women who have faced harassment, bullying, and in one of their words, "years of subtle slights" (being left off emails, men getting credit for their ideas, being mistaken for janitors or students when they are faculty, being left off collaborations even when it makes sense etc.) while pursuing academic STEM. All of them, and the movie's narrators, posit this as the key reason why the "leaky pipeline" exists - while, according to them, classrooms at the freshman undergrad level are gender-balanced (I find this claim to be dubious given what I know of the literature, but perhaps they have a source that I haven't seen), rampant harassment and inappropriate behavior drives women out disproportionately.
Of course, James Damore said that the disparity was in part due to innate differences in interest, and paid the price for saying that by losing his job. J&K defended him on the recent BAR podcast about SSC, but have they, or Damore himself, addressed head-on the issue of hostile climates in STEM for women and how that may affect retention?
It seems as if Damore and by extension J&K are mostly addressing misrepresentations of the memo (as in, the claims that the memo was saying "women are innately less suited for STEM" or "the memo claimed the disparity is entirely biological"), but I have not seen Damore or his prominent defenders address the prevalence of harassment and gender-specific bullying in STEM head-on. Is it not a significant problem? Considering that polls show a majority of women in STEM say they face discrimination and that half of women say they faced sexual harassment and that claim, summarized here, is at the center of the "feminist" narrative of STEM, I would think it is something that they would either acknowledge or debunk. Has anyone in this space made a cogent address of this argument put forth by the feminists in the STEM community?
The Hawks had 16 Wins and 20 Losses on the road during the regular season. Since taking over for Lloyd Pierce, Nate McMillan led the Hawks to 10 wins and 9 losses on the road. McMillan was responsible for 10 of those 16 road wins which is an incredible turnaround.
Not only have the Hawks been able to win in such a tough environment, but they closed out both series on their opponent's home floor. Atlanta was 0-8 in Game 7's on the road until yesterday. This is an incredible feat that I haven't seen much people including the media talk about.
Edit: I accidentally refered to future father in law as FDIL in this post
So I made a post about two months ago: https://old.reddit.com/r/JUSTNOMIL/comments/mpik67/bf_gonna_start_chemo_soon_and_fmil_is_being/
The TL:DR of the original post is that my boyfriend (we've been together 4 years, living together for that time, we're both in our late 20s) got diagnosed with lymphoma and has to undergo chemotherapy for six months. We had to move into his parents house as we needed to get closer to the hospital and we foolishly thought that his parents would also be able to help out with taking care of BF during this time. They've been extremely hostile and abusive to me and my BF and we were really struggling.
Anyway, I thought I would try and recount all the stuff that's been happening since, not only for your reading pleasure, but also for my own sake. Just having a place where all the shit they've done is written down. I don't exactly remember where my last post left off but anyway, we were toying with the idea of getting a caravan, just to get a place that was our own and stuff, so we decided to go for that. We did tell his parents and they were just kind of "ooh that's ridiculous but whatever, go ahead if you want to" so we called to make an appointment to have a tow-bar fitted on to our car. I was the one who made the phone call and ofc FMIL was eavesdropping. We only have a landline (no phone reception out here) so she just picked up the other phone and listened. She freaked the fuck out. Barged into the room and started shouting at me that I am trying to literally kill her son, I am the most horrible person she's ever met, and she's going to call my mom to tell her what a horrible job she did raising me. FDIL also barges in and starts shouting at BF when he is trying to protect me, so now I'm just sitting on the couch whilst FDIL and FMIL is shouting at BF and he is shouting back.
Anyway, we get the tow-bar installed. They are acting like nothing has happened the other day, FDIL is saying what a great idea the caravan is, FMIL is saying she's pro caravan now. So whatever, we find one on donedeal (irish craigslist) and they say they'll come and deliver it to us. So the guy was being a bit weird and kept saying he was gonna be late, and he doesn't show up until like eleven in the evening. For some reason both FMIL and FDIL have decided to stay up and wait for the caravan to arrive and when it does, shit hits the fan.
So none of us have really been aro
