A list of puns related to "Hardcore Henry"
After a horrific injury that left him near death, Henry was pieced back together with the best cybernetic prosthetics that the Akan Corporation could buy. When he wakes up on the operating table, Akan himself arrives to greet him, claiming that Henry is his corporate property and is to be made into the corporationβs perfect soldier. The cyborg soon discovers that Akan has an army of cybernetic soldiers based off of Henryβs design, waiting to be produced and distributed across the world to further Akanβs goals of terrorism, organized crime and world domination. Now, itβs up to Henry to rescue his wife, kill the psychic bastard and save the world.
Towards the end of the film, Henry receives a huge boost to his physicals from two giant vials of adrenaline. Feats from this scene will be marked.

While I can't pinpoint what made it so good for me (it's not the violence), I can list some likely culprits: Akan's charm, Estelle's acting, Henry's character development and overall arch, or maybe the fact that the movie was recorded from a first-person view.
The most likely reason is Akan: He drives the movie along and makes it have sense, plus he's the greatest villain I have ever seen; never raises his voice and is always in control.
That, and the plot twist at the end on who the actual mastermind is.
Are there other movies like Hardcore Henry out there?
Akan is the best villain I have seen in a movie, and Henry is great for a mute character you never get to see.
I've not seen anyone bring it up but it's private now and I cant find any reuploads
Iβm very interested to hear any responses but personally I think the person who voices the GTA online main character or maybe the main protagonist from Far Cry 5.
The episode I remember the most from this series is one of an obese kid who lives with his mom and dad. He's playing a video game and his parents are trying to get him to do something, but he stays in his room and curses at them. He spills a 2-liter bottle of soda onto a lamp or something electrical and starts a fire. He tries to put it out using multiple methods, fails, runs outside, and starts hyperventilating. Just before he dies his dad crouches over him and tells him he's adopted. There are 2 other stories I remember somewhat from this series. One about texting and driving and another with two women who I think are drug mules near the Mexican border, but the details I have from memory are very vague. It honestly might not even say "Game Over" at the end.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Back with another review Iβm really enjoying doing these. Just finished watching Hardcore Henry a movie thatβs in first person point of view kind of similar to a VR gaming experience, and has quickly become one of my favorite video game like movies, thatβs not based on an actual video game. I usually think movies based on video games typically suck except for Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil, but I think Hardcore Henry was definitely a game changer.
A man named Henry wakes up in a lab in an airship and is brought back to life and given cybernetic powers, he also suffers from memory loss and muteness. The airship is then attacked by a bionic mercenary who specializes in cyborg experiments and cloning. Henry then airdrops into Moscow and then from there a entertaining bloody rampage breaks loose.
What made this movie even more awesome is that I was sitting really close to the screen and it felt like I was playing the main character, it was just mind blowing how real it felt. We definitely need more first person point of view movies like this.
just have the movie entirely in first person and action.
instead of whatever they are doing now.
1 silent protagonist kicking ass.
No one cares about these random ass marines with their dumbass backstories.
Movies where the way they were filmed or created is more interesting than the actual plot and characters. Not that the story is uninteresting, but that the main engagement is asking yourself "how the hell did they do that?" or at least "how the hell did they manage to do that?"
Basically, visuals/cinematography unlike any other movie.
Henry is pumped full of adrenaline like in the end of hardcore henry.
Who wins
So, I am a very late comer to this game, only discovering it roughly 1 year ago. From the very start, I was enthralled by the premise of this game. It wasnβt until just 2 weeks ago that I finally felt comfortable with my knowledge of the game to attempt the βHardcore, All Negative Perksβ achievement titled above.
Let me just start by saying, it was rough. From the very beginning of my play through, forgetting that there is no auto save and having lost 3 hours of initial progress really set me back on my motivation to complete the challenge. I didnβt know if I was actually ready to do what I set out to accomplish. After a little self reassurance, I mustered enough courage to start over and get back to where I was, not being as frugal with my Savior Schnapps as I usually am in a Normal play through. Very early on I knew that I couldnβt play the Hardcore mode as I played the Normal mode, but earning silver, finding food, avoiding Cuman and Bandit ambushes on the road, trying to discern where I was on the map along with my orientation on the map all proved more difficult than I originally anticipated.
I began to rely more on alchemy, to brew my Savior Schnapps, Stealth to, well, be stealthy. Previously I would charge in with reckless abandon because if I died, oh well, I just reload to an auto save 5 minutes prior. I had to really take my time, plan my approach, utilize potions and Mutt. I didnβt have a respect for how useful Mutt could be until my Hardcore play through. Ultimately it gave me a much deeper appreciation for the game and for Warhorse.
If you havenβt played a Hardcore run, I highly recommend it. It is tedious, but made me feel a better player.
TLDR: Hardcore All Negative play through is rough, but very enjoyable. It made me appreciate the game more than I already did.
Was browsing for an action or sci-fi movie tonight when I came across it
Now the only first person movie Iβve ever seen was Cloverfield and I absolutely loved it, the whole time the camera person felt like someone I could believe was actually in a disaster, I wonβt try and ruin that movie
This movie took it to an absolutely insane level, without trying to spoil to much it feels like your in a video game. The intensity and action is taken up so much itβs incredible
Sorry if this has been posted about before, Iβve never heard of the movie and itβs never came up recommended for me on Netflix even thought itβs on there
why is hoxton wearing the heist mask and not reborn
Let's do this again. This a film almost entirely filmed in a First Person POV (at the end, the last seconds of the film, we can see the main character in the shower crying naked).
We have the killer perspective almost all the film. She washes her hands with a new soap that she throws away after one use. She has auditory hallucinations, that sounds like memories from her abusive parents telling her she is bad.
She goes to this offices, like social services or something (kind of like to where the Phoenix Joker goes to receive help). There a young lady is really nice to the main character, so MC is "in love" with her. She kills a man first, she is strong enough to subdue a man.
Back to the office, she needs to do an interview with a really disgusting and nothing hygienic middle aged woman. MC is disgusted, but interview turns out bad. I don't remember if she kills her or what, but turns out bad.
Back in her home she is anxious and she has some free time before something happens, she decides to go to a club. A woman takes interest in her, and takes her to a room where they are about to have sex, but her watch alarm goes off and she needs to go. The woman is not happy about her leaving so she tries to force her to stay, but she ends choked to death.
MC enters to the nice lady house and leaves her a letter that she wrote before. While hiding she sees the nice lady throw the letter away so, enraged, kills the nice lady.
Later, she escapes of the police, I think she kills more people, goes back to home (or maybe someone else home) and we have the firs Non-POV shot from the film, where she is naked and crying in the shower.
Extra info:
It is implied that it is not the first time she stalks and kills someone who rejected her.
MC has gloves almost all the film, and her hands is almost the only part of her body that we can see of her.
I think her name was Charlie, Mikey or something ambiguous like that.
Revealing of her being a woman is not that surprising, since she really sounds like a woman.
I went in with little expectation. Most reviews were negative bc it's first person like a video game. I don't game, so don't care about that, but I saw a good action movie, filmed creatively and with humor. Over the top violence sure.
