  1. The Unfinished Obelisk. At completion this monumental monument would have weighed an approximate 1,200 tons! Should it not have cracked, this brick would be the largest ever attempted on Earth!

  2. The now ruinous Jupiter Baal Temple's trilithion of three bricks, each weighing in at 750 tons!

  3. An unfinished Moai head and body on Easter Island, still unfinished the estimated total is a respectable 400 tons.

Aegor took a long deep breath, steeling himself for the confrontation to come. Edwyck had surely told Lord Bracken what had happened at the Tyrell wedding, and he did not look forward to their meeting.

Nonetheless, this was something he had to do, and as such, he and Togariom entered the keep. There was little fanfare, as Aegor made no show of his entry, preferring to keep his presence minimal. Approaching a guard of the keep, he simply stated "Aegor Rivers."

Antiquities in America: Curious article from 1858 claiming "Ruins of ancient cities, of immense extent; fortifications, mounds and pyramids; temples with walls built of hewn stown showing a refined taste in architecture... have flourished in this country, at a period far remote".

Antiquities in America

Throughout the entire length and breadth of the country – washed, as it is by the waters of two mighty oceans, and abounding in natural resources – enormous beyond what is impossible to conceive – we find much to admire in the aspect and beauty of nature; and whether we travel from the distant shores of Maine and New Brunswick to the golden sands of California, and the shores of the great Pacific, or from the bright crystal lakes of Minnesota to the orange groves of Florida, we behold throughout the immense extent, the features of nature, grand and beautiful in every form and aspect. The mineralogist, the geologist, the naturalist, the botanist, and even the antiquarian, have all a rich field here.

Strange as it may appear, America abounds in antiquities, so extensive, so beautiful and majestic, as to rival those of Thebes and Nineveh. Ruins of ancient cities, of immense extent; fortifications, mounds and pyramids; temples with walls built of hewn stown showing a refined taste in architecture – and adorned with human figures, beautifully executed; large altars ornamented with hieroglyphes, probably giving a record of those who reared them, but which no man has been able to decipher; remains of ancient palaces, with beautiful specimens of sculpture and painting, with many other marks of anceint greatness, prove to us that this is not a new world, but that a powerful empire existed at a very remote period of time, teeming with a population highly skilled in arts, and in a state of civilization far beyond anything we have ben led to conceive of the aborigines, previous to the discovery of the continent by Europeans.

The antiquities of America extent from the eastern shores of Maine and Massachusetts to the Pacific, and from the Great Lakes and British dominions, to Peru and La Plata in South America; in fact, throughout the extent of both continents. Immense forests grow over the ruins of large cities, and the gigantic size of the trees, with indications that other generations of trees sprung up and grew before them, proves that the ruins were in existence before the Christian era.

In every portion of the United States interesting ruins have been discovered. In the State of New York have been found sculptured figures of one hundred animals of different species, executed in a style far superior to anything exhibited by any of the existing tribes of Indians. The State of Ohio abounds in ruin

When I use the cave drawing tool to create cave walls I cant seem to erase just a small part of the cave wall to create an entrance to natural caverns.

Is there a way to make breaks in cave walls? Or should I just create a massive cave system and then tile over it with the man made dungeon parts?

Utility to avoid Stone Shattering leap deaths on Echelon in Halls of Atonement. Tyrannical weeks.

Hey CWoW. This week I wanted to go over some helpful abilities (that I rarely see used) to avoid Echelon's Stone Shattering Leap. This ability, when encountered in keys above a certain level (also depending on players' ilvl), can be deadly and is completely avoidable... IF you have certain racials or a decurse in your group. While almost every player with a blink/dash or in the Night Fae covenant usually does a great job, I often see the less meta classes struggling to use any ability to mitigate the damage despite most having great options. A few examples of this are: warlock's demonic circle, monk's transcendence, hunter's disengage, paly's divine steed and the venthyr covenant ability door of shadows. I do agree that some classes have it much tougher than others, but I have seen most of these abilities used successfully if timed correctly. Side note: Stone shattering leap is nature damage AMZ and AMS are great ways to mitigate the damage.

I was hesitant to post about this topic because I dread the silly comments like "everyone knows this" but there are 2 reasons why I decided to post anyways: the first is that when I looked up Halls of Atonement keys on youtube that were posted in the last week (that had tyrannical affixes and were above a +20), I found that while it is apparent that most people were aware the damage was avoidable, poor planning and/or lack of utilizing all of the players' potential options lead to deaths. Of the videos I watched, nearly every single key had at least 1 death to stone shattering leap (and those were just the keys the were uploaded). The other reason I decided to publish this post is that I believe, for some people, +15s are still a competitive key. In my experience, players that I carry or people pugging up to roughly +17's still aren't aware that the damage is avoidable, or more specifically, when I have a decurse in my group, they are still decursing the healer instead of the player targeted with stone shattering leap. While in a +15, this may or may not lead to a death, learning the practice of decursing the targeted player is a scalable strategy and can also increase healer dps uptime and therefore lower overall time in the dungeon.

This week's video I am posting on YouTube is geared towards less experienced players and goes over every ability of Echelon...from roughly the halfway point on I discuss the practice of moving out of stone shattering leap when properly decursed. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_WSg
