Greg Edwards (musician) Puns

So I was listening to the new album again tonight and realized about 2/3 of the way through the final track “half moon” that Greg’s voice, especially on that track reminds me of Paul McCartney. Am I nuts or has anyone else had this thought?

So I've been looking at Anthony Edwards' rookie season and where it ranks among the rookie seasons of the past twenty #1 overall picks.

• 12 of them (IMO) had decidedly better rookie seasons than Anthony Edwards: Zion Williamson, DeAndre Ayton, Ben Simmons, Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, John Wall, Blake Griffin, Derrick Rose, Dwight Howard, LeBron James, and Yao Ming

• 3 of them had decidedly worse rookie seasons than Anthony Edwards: Markelle Fultz, Anthony Bennett, and Kwame Brown

• The remaining 4 are kind of toss-ups if you dive into it: Andrew Wiggins, Greg Oden, Andrea Bargnani, and Andrew Bogut.

I'm sure some people will argue with the toss-up category, but those were the players that I thought were just most interesting when compared to Edwards. Try to avoid the instant reaction you have to the words "Andrea Bargnani" and all your current knowledge of how his career played out.

I usually am not at all interested in the personal lives of musicians I listen to, but isn't that just the best thing ever? Two members of three awesome bands being a couple. It's as if Maynard from Tool were married to MJK from A Perfect Circle.

I was a casual fan of Wisecrack for while, just watching the odd video once and a while when it popped up in my YouTube feed. One day I was looking up a random fact about MacBeth and stumble on Sparky's video on it. Fucking Legend. Binged most of his videos over the next week and wound up doing a deep dive on Wisecrack in general and became a true fan in the process.

Now that the crew seems to be restructuring after Jared's departure, one of the top silver linings I've seen so far is the uptick in Greg's involvement with the channel. Hopefully we'll see a return of Thug Notes (a season 7 would be great, but even if they just did the odd sporadic video here and there, I'd be pretty stoked.)
