A list of puns related to "Green Ramp disaster"
Hi yβall, so awhile back I posted a request for some help with my Animar deck and one of the recommendations I got was to add in 2 mana ramp spells. Unfortunately Iβm either dumb or this information isnβt super easy to come across, so I was wondering if anyone knew what all those spells are? Thanks for the help.
Edit: hereβs the deck list if anyone is interested https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/4260680#paper
Iβm a pretty inexperienced magic player but have done my best to build the best casual, modern-legal, mono-green ramp deck. I donβt know many people who play magic, but the idea is that I could trounce whatever deck they have. Iβve included a link to my deck, which also features additional description. No need to keep suggestions budget-friendly, as I plan to work on this deck for a while.

I was playing in a game tonight and I kid you not, this blue mage after making an obscene amount of mana and stopping us from being able to play the game with endless counter spells was going to pass without attacking whilst having 62 power worth of damage on board.
The play patten of drawing 15 cards and then taking an extra turn is not a win condition, I stoped him 2 times in total just playing through the endless counter spells. The sad part is that, I at first seamed like sea creature tribal... It was not.
Just please, put in a combo win. I want to actually lose, not just conceit to boredom.
We don't hate you for countering our spells, we hate you for not just wining when you have the win. Your mind goes into the weeds as you rifle through your 15 cards in hand at 1 spell a minute. The same is true of green ramp (notably not landfall decks). You have big fat creatures, turn them sideways. You don't need an overrun effect to kill, and if your creatures is triple blocked to kill, well you just took out two to three of the creatures. Good job!!
Sorry for the rant. I thought 3.5hr would be enough for at minimum 2 game, again... It was not.
Edit: this was an online EDH game.

Ran this deck by this subreddit once already and the deckβs a lot better now but wanna see if theres any more input i could get. Deck
Heres my reasoning: Maindeck-
Arbor elf, llanowar elves = cheap turn 1 ramp
Utopia Sprawl = cheap turn 1 ramp that combos nicely with arbor elf
Sylvan Caryatid = slightly heavier ramp that gives us a 0/3 defender and hexproof
llanowar tribe = slightly heavier ramp to ramp into
Elder Gargoroth = ramp target with a decent body, generates more bodies, lifegain, or card draw and is available turn 2-3
Vigor = Ramp target with a decent body that Protects our mana dorks (and turns them into threats) and other ramp targets. Available turn 3 some games
Nylea = gives our other creatures trample (elder gargoroth and vigor already have it but the hope is to get it to our elves buffed by vigor)
Thragtusk = ramp target with decent life gain on etb and annoyingly for our opponent makes a 3/3 once removed.
Craterhoof = ramp targets that buff everything and can let us swing for a win as early as turn 4
Summonerβs pact = free tutor and paying 4 on our next turn isnt that bad
Finale of devastation = Super heavy ramp target since we wanna hit it at 12 cmc that will pump everything while likely getting out Craterhoof, pumping our creatures further⦠we should basically win the turn we play this but hopefully we win before we even have the chance.
Heroic intervention = removal/board wipe protection
Sideboard-
Hurricane = flyer hate
Savage summoning, serpopard = control hate
Deafening silence = we are very creature heavy so this beats on burn and storm decks without hurting us that much. Its also very easy to get white mana with sylvan caryatid and utopia sprawl.
Shaperβs sanctuary = anti control card draw
