The Danish Rail Authorities (Trafik-, Bygge- og Boligstyrelsen) has warned that anyone using rail wagons of the type Pocket Wagon (particularly, but not exclusively Sdggmrs) carrying trailers on the Danish Rail system, needs to instate an extra check of the locking king pin, as there are indications that there is a risk that the king pin might not fully lock into the saddle.
This comes after a warning from the Accident Analysis Group (Havarikommisione) analysing the accident where a trailer detached from one train and fell onto a passenger train on the Great Belt Bridge killing eight persons (In Danish):
A regional rail line along i5 with fewer stops and a faster traveling speed than the Yellow Line is almost too logical. It would be a huge win for climate and transit activists with a fast, convenient, and clean alternative to driving. It would also be a huge win for Vancouver and Clark County as they would have defeated light rail while still getting an alternative to sitting in traffic all day that would be very competitive with driving even off peak.
Stops could be at McLoughlin Blvd, Downtown Vancouver, Hayden Island, Expo Center, Lombard, and Rose Quarter Transit Center. This would also leave open the possibility of extending the line to the Clark County Fair Grounds and Amphitheater in the future.
