Vancouver BC Quick Trip suggestions
This is a rant about all you people who think it's okay to show up way after everyone to the bus stop only to stand off to the side and rush into the bus first as soon as it shows up.
I understand that it's not organized, straight lines at the Granville stop. It's a little bit more like a tentative line that's slightly crowded where the 3 doors are. However, when there's 10 people kind of lining up where a door will open and you show up way after everyone only to stand off to the side and then rush to the front of the line as soon as the bus comes and the door opens, that just makes you look like a jerk.
Whenever I'm the first one to the stop, I make an effort to stand exactly where the bus back door will open with my feet 1 foot from the curb to make it impossible for someone to cut in front of me. Despite this I've still had multiple occasions where as I'm letting people leave the bus, someone will rush up from the side and get on before everyone gets off then take the only seat.
Just today I was second in line but was somehow 4th into the back door because 2 people showed up later and then literally stood off to the side only to rush onto the bus first. They almost pushed a guy over who was leaving the bus just so they could get 2/3 seats available. I did not get a seat because of that.
Yes I notice you show up later then the people in line, yes I notice you standing off to the side, yes I notice you inching your way up, yes I see you push your way into the bus first so you can get a seat, yes I see you do it other days since we're likely on the same work schedule. And after a hard day of work it's going to make me even more angry seeing you do this.
Anyway, I'm bad at confrontation but one of these days I'm going to call these people out on their BS... I'll probably be embarrassed directly after, but hopefully I embarrass them too by shaming them in front of everyone.
What are everyone's thoughts and experiences with stuff like this?
I was watching Open All Hours and something is up with the cash register. I think it is possessed by Arkwrights's father. Whenever anyone puts money in it, it snaps shut violently. But it isn't "being greedy", it is trying to keep them from using it. If they can't use the register they might as well close the store and get on with their lives. This continues in Still Open All Hours with Arkwright himself possessing the till to get Granville to go be a father to his son and find his own happiness.
Has anyone been there the past few days? How is it holding up?

This means a lot to me. I've isolated myself from society and people years ago when I was 12 years old, im 20 now, so I'm coming out and socializing again with baby steps.
So right now, I'm socializing by playing my xbox. Today, I put on my game- Sea of Thieves and I met these 3 wonderful guys on my second time joining a random match. Off the start, they were all friendly and welcoming. They treated me like another human being which is sort of rare in the gaming community, imo.
I really enjoyed playing with them. I laughed with them, we shared funny jokes and we all had a lot of fun battling, pvping and doing all sorts of wholesome things in the game. In the end of our fun gaming, we all did a 'cheers' with our cups and congratulated each other for being good lads and teammates. I almost broke down at that point, off mic.
Also, today is the first time I used my microphone and fighting my fear of talking. They didnt judge how I sounded, which I really have troubles with liking and embracing my voice. They didnt call me names. They didnt look down on me for being a girl who plays games.
Honestly, even though I've stopped playing xbox since 2014... these guys are the sweetest people I've ever met.
Some people will look at this like it's nothing,
But I will cherish this moment. In my heart.
Good ending, they all added me. I now have 4 friends on my friends list. The 4th one is my second account.
