Since the first time I heard it, Gran Turismo, one of my favourite albums ever, sounds haunted, like it's all about ghosts. Does anyone else get that vibe or am I mad?

Keep getting mixed messages about this. Last racing game I got was Project Cars and binned it quite quick as it's more of a sim racer. I am looking for something similar to the Project Gotham games where it wasn't a sim, bit more depth than other games like Need for Speed or Burnout.
Where does Gran Turismo fit?
I've been looking for a new racing game other than F1 and I know that GT7 is coming in March, but should I get that or Grid Legends, which I don't know alot about. I'm looking for a more Sim less Arcade style racer and I'm not sure which one to go for.

- Grand Valley Raceway, Special Stage Route 5 and 11, some new city track.
- Used Cars are really from another users.
- Secret cars, only availale on championships.
- Seasonal events (like Forza Horizon 5).
- Nissan Fairlady Z (2022), Ferrari 812 Superfast, VW Golf (2021/2022), Ford Focus (2021/2022), Chevrolet Corvette C8.
