A list of puns related to "Tambourine Studios"
The three from โAll My Demons Greeting Me As A Friendโ (FR Digital Deluxe Edition) are available on Spotify now. See if they are in your region.
Now I realize 2019 I Went Too Far is Pwndtiac Remix, right?

The numbers of streams are not right for songs from โAll My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend.โ See if any French warrior remembers how many they were. They shouldn't be so few. Even if they were exclusive in France before.
If really so, they could be available in many regions recently. The numbers are abnormal. Every song has millions of streams from โAll My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend.โ
So I need a tambourine exclusively for recording and thought I'd ask if anyone had recommendations? I figure you typically don't want very bright sounding percussion for studio use so is there anything I should avoid?
edit: I guess I'm looking for what metal cymbals are best, and possibly the wood too.

Hello everyone and a happy new year to all! I hope everyone is having a great start to their new year and that itโs better than 2021 was. I thought since itโs the beginning of the year, why not Begin the Begin? Let do it!
Begin the Begin literally begins the bandโs fourth studio album Lifes Rich Pageant and oh boy, what an opener it is! The song starts with this little odd and yet unnerving guitar riff before the song really kicks in. Billโs gets a hit on the snare before Peterโs heavy and distorted guitar chords come in, with Mikeโs bass really filling out the sound.
Michaelโs vocals and lyrics come in and you can tell this album is borrowing a little bit of that heavier vibe from Fables. Now lyrically, this song has a lot going for it. The opening line is โBirdie in the hand, for lifes rich demandโ which is almost the album title! It also seems that Michael is playing off the phrase โa bird in the hand is worth than two in the bushโ which basically means itโs better to be content with what you have than to lose it by risking to get more.
Then Michael name drops Myles Standish who was a military adviser for the Plymouth Colonies who was known for making brutal strikes towards the natives who lived there. Itโs an interesting name to mention, especially with how it could connect with the rest of the lyrics.
After that we get to a pre chorus thatโs welcomed in by some tambourines from Bill. Here, Michael sings โa philandererโs tieโ which supposedly was suppose to be โa philanthropist tieโ but sang the wrong word and the band decided to keep it. Itโs also important to note that musically through the verses we go back to intro guitar kick from Peter which brings nice cohesion to the song.
When we get to the second verse we seem to get a picture of what the song really is about. โLifes Rich demands creates supple in the hand. Of the powers, the only vote that matters.โ Now the song is making more sense and it seems Michael is commenting on consumerism and how the money we funnel to corporations make its way politics whereโs it used to create power over people.
Thereโs also a name drop of watching โZenith on the TVโ which was a brand of TVs. Bud zenith also means โat a time which something is most powerful or successfulโ which could make sense in the context of this song. And then Michael talks about tigers chasing the leader up a tree which is a reference to the 19

Awful, great, and middling, the 2003 surround sound release of Oasisโs album (Whatโs the Story) Morning Glory? is an odd creature, to say the least. Without the involvement of the band, Sony commissioned mixing engineer Neil Dorfsman and assistant mixing engineer David Swope to create this surround sound version of the album for the companyโs newly-created SACD format. An SACD (or โSuper Audio CDโ) could hold both a stereo mix and a multichannel mix, and Sony intended the format to become a successor to the immensely popular CD format. While sales of this SACD in particular are not known to the public, its failure is likely the cause of Sony axing plans to release a surround sound mix of Heathen Chemistry, and no other studio albums by the band have been remixed in surround sound since.
Despite its sales, this disc remains important not only for presenting the band in surround sound, but more importantly, for its radically different instrumental timbre (the quality of the sound), giving elements a level of clarity that wasnโt present in the original release. This creates quite a different experience for the listener, one that could be arguably better than the 1995 version, if not for the numerous errors that pervade its final release.
Before getting into the mix itself, itโs first important to understand some aspects regarding surround sound. This SACD surround sound mix is a 5.1 mix, consisting of 6 channels. Channels are the segments of the mix intended for each speaker.

Around this time every year we get tons of questions about gifts for drummers. So, we figured we would compile a list. To end up on this list the product must be useful for your average drummer, non-specialized. The most important aspect of a gift; something useful the recipient probably hasn't already got for themselves or something higher quality than the average drummer would already own. If you know of something that should be added to this Drummer's Wish List, please comment and let us know!

Pop picking is a fast โnโ furious business these days whether you are on the recording studio side listening out, or on the disc-counter side listening in. as a record reviewer I find myself installed halfway in-between with an ear cocked in either direction. So far as Britainโs record collecting public is concerned, The Beatles broke into earshot in October, 1962. My natural hometown interest in the group prevented me from taking a totally unbiased view of their early success. Eighteen months before their first visit to the EMI studios in London, The Beatles had been voted Merseysideโs favourite outfit and it was inevitable that their first Parlophone record, LOVE ME DO, would go straight into the top of Liverpoolโs local hit parade. The groupโs chances of national chart entry seemed much more remote. No other team had joined the best-sellers via a debut disc. But The Beatles were history makers from the start and LOVE ME DO sold enough copies during its first 48 hours in the shops to send it soaring into the national charts. In all the busy years since pop singles first shrank from ten to seven inches I have never seen a British group leap to the forefront of the scene with such speed and energy. Within the six months which followed the Top Twenty appearance of LOVE ME DO, almost every leading deejay and musical journalist in the country began to shout the praises of The Beatles. Readers of the New Musical Express voted the boys into a surprisingly high place via the 1962/63 popularity pollโฆon the strength of just one record release. Pictures of the group spread themselves across the front ages of three national music papers. People inside and outside the record industry expressed tremendous interest in the new vocal and instrumental sound which The Beatles had introduced. Brian Matthew (who has since brought The Beatles to many millions of viewers and listeners in his โThank Your Lucky Starsโ, โSaturday Clubโ and โEasy Beatโ programmes) describes the quartet as visually and musically the most exiting and accomplished group to emerge since The Shadows. Disc reviewing, like disc producing, teaches one to be wary about making long-term predictions. The hit parade isnโt always dominated by the most worthy performances of the day so it is no good assuming that versatility counts for everything. It was during the recording of a Radio Luxembourg programme in the EMI Friday Spectacular series th

Seeing as heโs from Las Vegas, the home of twenty-four-hour gambling, retina-freezing neon, and spontaneous wedding ceremonies, The Killersโ Ronnie Vannucci has a penchant for doing thingsโto quote a famous Vegas croonerโhis way. A natural drummer with a massive beat and a creative, chameleon-like tendency to create a new flow as the song dictates, Vannucci pulls out all the quirky stops for The Killersโ third release, Day And Age.
With sales of twelve million and climbing for their earlier albums, Hot Fuss and Samโs Town, The Killers employed producer Stuart Price (Madonna, Missy Elliott, Gwen Stefani, Seal) to twist their already unpredictable pop style for Day And Age. Where previous Killers albums offered equal parts gritty urban beats, heraldic melodies, and chest-thumping Bruce Springsteenโstyle theatrics, Day And Age streamlines the bandโs approach into something more groove-heavy and dance-oriented. But far from a click-track slave, Vannucci saw The Killersโ change in direction as a chance to experiment, and to expand his skill set as well as his cymbal set.
Vannucci plays 18" and 22" hi-hats on much of Day And Age. Even so, if he wasnโt happy with a particular hi-hat sound, heโd sing โchick chick chickโ into a mic and add it to the mix. If he wanted a different drumset sound, he used a small โside kitโ for a textural change of pace. And he was only getting started. For one song, Vannucci tracked nine snare drums for a massive rock โnโ roll march. For another, he combined two drumset tracks into one, running snares in the middle of the mix, toms hard left and right, and the bass drum rumbling like a subsonic depth charge. Vannucci even sent all of his beautiful acoustic drum sounds through ancient Simmons SDS pads, and then tweaked the results beyond recognition for The Killersโ first single, โHuman.โ
Vannucciโs been a drummer since he was seven, playing in various bands around Las Vegas until, in his twenties, he landed a job working as a wedding photographer at the Chapel Of The Little Flowers. The job allowed him to pay the rent by day and gig by night. Shooting all those starry-eyed honeymooners drove him mad, though, and after seeing a Tom Waits gig in 2000, the drummer enrolled at the University Of Las Vegas as a double music major. Simultaneously, he and the rest of The Killers (Brandon Flowers, David Keuning, and Mark Stoermer) honed their songs and created a fresh pop sound that would result in their topping criticsโ polls throughou

#Picks Of The Week (by u/lefuniname)
####1. Voicians - Reverse [Voicians] Recommended if you like: Jack Mirror, Lexurus, Pendulum
As is tradition with end-of-month weeks, this week's batch of releases has been both stupidly big and bursting with annoyingly great tracks. However, since one release in this huge pile came from someone whose music I've been a fan of since the early days of my still quite short journey as a DnB fan, choosing a release to start with was kind of a no-brainer. So, let's talk about Voicians!
Daniel Voicians (yes, that seems to be his actual name!) is a german multi-genre producer and vocalist, whose musical endeavours are so wide-spread that you might have listened to a production of his without even being aware of DnB as a genre. But let's back up a little first. Daniel is originally from Stuttgart in Southern Germany and has lived a musical life longer than he can probably Remember at this point. At the age of 6 he was already a part of an orchestra, but it was the Limitless possibilities of the electronic music production world that really got his attention. In 2008 he released the first of many big musical projects, The Inner Frame, on bandcamp. Even on these quite early productions he seemed to already have a very (So) Clear idea what he w

If it wasnโt Pop or Aerosmith or, I dunno, something super mainstream, it did not matter what real genre it was. It fell under the Alternative banner.
Grunge? Alternative. Folk? Alternative. Garage? Alternative. Prog Rock? Fuck it, Alternative. Shoegaze? Who, aside from some incredibly toxic Pumpkins fans even knows what that shit is? Alternative!
But this week we are really, REALLY looking at a band that is full-brown Alternative.
Oh yeah. I said full brown. If you get it, you get it.
This weekโs band is WEEN.
About them
What do you get when you combine Prog Rock, Gospel, Punk, Metal, Country, Soul, and Psychedelia?
After reading that intro, I hope you answered Alternative. If you didnโt, you havenโt really been following along.
Yep. This band is a huge grab bag of influences with its own unique flair. And like all great things, it began in an eighth grade typing class.
Side note: if you are old enough to have attended a typing class, itโs time to take an Advil for your lower back pain and settle in for your daily afternoon nap.
Aaron Freeman and Mickey Melchiondo are not, in fact, brothers, though for all intents and purposes they have become something of that sort. The two were both born and raised in the great state of Pennsylvania. The two grew up completely separately on the main streets of New Hope, until that one fateful day in typing class.
From what Freeman recalls, he and Melchiondo didn't really like each other at first. Freeman saw Melchiondo as a jock, and classified himself as more of a โTrench Coatโ kinda guy. And yet, after sitting next to each other at the typewriter, they found out that they listened to the

A few months back, I had some fun and ranked all 39 albums by His Bobness. Dylan is my favorite singular artist of all-time (second only to The Beatles with all acts considered), and decades of listening has done nothing to hamper my love or enthusiasm for his music.
I finally created a Reddit account after years of lurking so I could discuss my rankings with this sub. Iโve always been fascinated by the concept of quantifying the unquantifiable, and believe itโs important to a) explore your own subjective artistic opinions as much as possible to comprehend why you feel the way you do and b) be receptive of other peoplesโ viewpoints to potentially better enjoy or understand a piece of work. I figured there was no better place to turn to than this subreddit.
My goal was to inspire healthy debate and re-evaluation, both for other Dylan fans and myself; itโs safe to say that this goal was accomplished. Iโve spent the last couple of months reading so many thoughtful replies, both in agreement and disagreement, and having countless wonderful conversations surrounding one of the most fascinating discographies in popular music. Iโm so pleased with how passionate, intelligent, and respectful the majority of my interactions have been. Although I still feel similarly when I look at my rankings, I have already begun to think about certain records and songs in a different light thanks to the myriad of insightful discussions in the comment sections.
The following table includes my final ranking posts (one more time for the people in the back: this is entirely subjective). I personally recommend starting from #39 and working up to #1:

Huge fan. I was the shy kid playing my aunt's 45 of I am The Walrus in the spare room at family gatherings. I've watched 2 episodes of Get Back and 2 things stand out. The film made me appreciate the importance of Mal Evans to The Beatles. Mal is brewing tea and buying cigs one minute and the next he's playing tambourine and tuning guitars. Top lad. The other thing is that this is a group of people whose core developed in the dark nightclubs of Hamburg in the early 1960s. The scene in Get Back where Ringo wanders in to the film studio one morning and belts out a Chuck Berry number with Paul on the piano. I've been looking forward to this doc so long. Loving every second of it man.

[Had some fun and ranked all 39 albums by His Bobness. Everything you are about to read is simply my opinion; whether you agree or disagree, letโs have a healthy, respectful dialogue in the comments!]
Released: March 22, 1965
Produced by: Tom Wilson
Although The Basement Tapes was the first Dylan record I heard, Bringing It All Back Home was my real introduction to Bob Dylan, that guy with the unique singing voice who writes the mind-blowing lyrics. Perhaps a lot of other younger children would have been turned off, but I was instantly hooked. It was the beginning of a lifelong listening journey that has brought me immeasurable joy and enthrallment.
I considered this record my favorite of Bobโs for a long time, no doubt due to my nostalgic attachment. As the years have passed, two albums have overtaken it in my personal rankings, but that holds no bearing on how highly I think of it. Some days, itโs still my favorite, and how could it not be? We finally get the emergence of rock and roll Bob, who nails it right out of the gate with โSubterranean Homesick Bluesโ, a relentless beat-poet cultural commentary with a Chuck Berry-esque groove and proto-hip-hop vocal delivery. Itโs followed up two songs later with โMaggieโs Farmโ, an equally quotable and breakneck critique of societal expectations. The combination of Bobโs pointed vocals and the bandโs rickety drive create a sound unlike anything that came before it, a sound that still aids these two major compositions after all these years. Their urgency is also crucial to the spirited โOutlaw Bluesโ and the persistent boogie of โBob Dylanโs 115th Dreamโ, two additional rocking highlights.
For all of the attention this album receives as the introduction to electric Dylan, the ballads on Bringing It All Back Home are responsible for so much of its greatness. The studio band is wonderfully tasteful on โShe Belongs to Meโ and โLove Minus Zero/No Limitโ, two remarkable celebrations of love that rank among my top 25 Dylan tracks. Then, of course, weโre treated to the acoustic second side of the record, beginning with the psychedelic masterpiece of โMr. Tambourine Manโ. I told myself at the beginning of this
