A list of puns related to "Golden Quadrilateral"
Having hit double centuries in South (Bengaluru), East (Kolkata) and North (Mohali), Rohit has his best chance to complete the quad by scoring a double hundred in Pune or Mumbai
##December 2029
Between 2001 and 2012 the Indian Government constructed the Golden Quadrilateral, a highway network connecting many of the major economic centres of the country. The major links in the 'quadrilateral' were Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi, which were linked by 5'800km of highway that, though completed behind schedule, came in at an astounding price that was only half the projected cost. Now the government is ready to begin preparations for its first round of expansions to the Golden Quadrilateral.
###Phase 1
Phase 1 of the expansion of the golden quadrilateral is set to take five years, and has been alotted a fairly substantial budget, even for the length of the highways planned.
This is because the highways will be of the absolute highest standard, with four lanes of dual carriageway, controlled-access road with no direct access to property or intersections crossing minor roads. The newly built and upgraded highways will be for high-speed vehicle use only. Maximum speed on the roads will be 120km/h and minimum will be 90, but only for vehicles using the innermost lanes. The goal of the expansions will be to expand the golden quadrilateral's high speed, high capacity road transit capabilities to more areas of the country.
The planned expansions total nearly 3'500km, and a cost of around $10bn has been earmarked for the construction which is scheduled to take 5 years.
This represents four new routes which are as follows:
Kochi-Bengaluru - This stretch of highway will connect Bengaluru to Kochi in Karnataka state, it will also connect through the growing industrial city of Coimbatore. - 413km
Delhi-Patna - This road will link through between Delhi and Kolkata, two cities which are already connected, but this road shall pass through the cities of Lucknow and Patna, huge urban areas. It will also pass through a significant chunk of Uttar Pradesh, a state home to more than 200 million people. - 853km
Mumbai-Visakhapatnam - this segment will connect Mumbai and Visakhapatnam, shortening a road journey through the high-grade highways by several hundred kilometres. More importantly, it will link the city of Hyderabad into the network. - 783km
Delhi-Chennai - This road will also shorten the road journey between Delhi and Chennai Meaning such could be made in as little as 3 days. In addition, this stretch of road will connec

The newly elected government of Mohammad Kaif has confirmed it intends to continue the previous administration's policies of expanding the Golden Quadrilateral highway network. This follows on from the previous expansion phase begun five years ago, which saw 3'500km of 4-lane dual carriageway added to the network at a cost of $10bn. (Around $2.9m per km.) Now, Phase 2 of the expansion has been unveiled, which will add more than 5'100km of road to the network, and expand the highways across parts of India that were not previously serviced by these controlled-access, high-speed, high-capacity highways.
###Phase 2
Phase two of the expansion will connect previously unconnected states and cities into the Golden Quadrilateral Highways. This includes relatively underdeveloped states like Uttarkhand, Jammu & Kashmir and Chattisgarh, but will also link into wealthier states like Gujarat and previously unserviced parts of Tamil Nadu:
Delhi-Kashmir - This stretch will link the state of Kashmir into the network, passing through the cities of Ludhianna, Jammu, Srinigar and Kargil. - 852km
Punjab-Gujarat - This stretch of the road will link from the Delhi-Kashmir Highway all the way through Punjab and into Gujarat. It will pass near the cities of Amritsar, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Barmer and Rajkot. - 1'619km
Gujarat Coastal Highway - This will run along the highly economically active coast of the state of Gujarat, linking from Dwarka, through Porbandar, Diu, Bhavnagar to Ahmedabad. - 614km
Rajkot-Dwarka - This road will link the Punjab-Gujarat Highway to the Gujarat Coastal Highway between Rajkot and Dwarka, passing by the city of Jamnagar in the process. - 193km
Bhuj-Lakaida - This short stretch links Bhuj in poorly-serviced north-western Gujarat into the Punjab-Gujarat highway at the town of Lakaida. - 99km
Madurai-Chennai - This links the major economic centre of Madurai into the network, giving it a link to Chennai and passing through Tirurchirappalli and Puducherry. - 415km
Dehradun-Delhi This highway links the state of Uttarkhand at its capital, Dehradun, to the network at Delhi, servicing Saharanpur and Muzaffarnagar along the way. - 207km
Nagpur-Kolkata - This links the cities of Nagpur and Kolkata directly, while bringing new links to the state of Chattisgarh along the way. It reaches the cities of Rai

Even if light vehicles become EV en masse, there is a segment that EVs cannot penetrate - heavy vehicles.. Physics make it nearly impossible for electric trucks to become viable, mostly due to low energy density of lithium.. Truckers are more likely to switch to CNG/LNG than go for EV.. I'm already seeing this on the ground in my home state of Kerala.. Diesel trucks and buses are converting en masse to CNG.. Financial news is yet to pick up on this phenomenon, but it is indeed happening..
GAIL is planning to start 1000 LNG pumps throughout India for heavy vehicles.. Gail is anticipating increased demand by this sector.

If the PSU stigma can be ignored, GAIL appears to be a good bet for long term.. I also expect the dividend yield to increase due to inflation and rising gas consumption.. If GAIL drops near 100 in the ongoing correction, I may invest large amount as lumpsum.. SIP is already going on..

I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!

I've noticed a lot of the new MCCR players don't exactly know too much on each game, so I will run through the 10 games + dodgebolt (alphabetically!) present in MCC 17 and give tips that may help a team out!
General Tips: Starting out, here are some basic general tips for things outside of the games:
Ace Race: A race... on Ace! This fast pace chaotic racing game that I'm sure every participant has practiced can be a major turning point in a team's performance (see MCC 15 Yellow). Here are some tips:
Battle Box: Withing a quadrilateral pit of death, players fight across 9 rounds to see who can outplay another. This rapid battle gauntlet may not offer the largest point gap, but can easily boost a team up a few places, or secure their lead. Here are some pointers:
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.
I won't be doing that today!

Me: Hi hungry, I'm dad.
She had no idea what was going on but I finally did it.
Thank you all for listening.
