Ive been reading a lot of comics that take place around and after infinite crisis, many of them written by Geoff Johns, and it looks like he was setting up something big for superboy. There are big moments where there was and entire story arc dedicated to his revival, and in the issues of booster gold written by Johns rip hunter says that he will one day be the greatest hero. What do you think Johns was trying to lead to with superboy before the new 52?
So I’ve been following and reading through some of Geoff’s programs and have come to the conclusion that he believes in the clean and press as a solid foundation movement, is that because it truly is a great body building movement!?
Why clean and press instead of say the jerk or push press or snatch?
(I just want to make clear here first, this is not a post begging Geoff to come back. I know how much people want it, but honestly he should just take time off as needed, he deserves it.)
To begin, Geoff, I, and I think everyone else, really love you. You are the great power behind all of Rooster Teeth, from the beginning to now, and have been a great reason many people watch the grand content you provide.
Mainly what I wanted to do in this post is just appreciate Geoff, because he needs support in times like these. Geoff, my dad, the reason I watch RT in the first place, introduced me to this content, unintentionally as I was semi-young, and I loved it from the very first word. I still remember hiding under the blankets on the couch late at night, my dad fallen asleep watching your stuff, and me listening intently to all the chaos you took part in. This being about the time you could still hear the intense clickity-clack of keyboards and controllers.
I truly have fallen for the content you have, everything you’ve taken part in, from F**ckface to a GTA chase to building a Minecraft base. I wish the best for you, and hope that you can settle back for once and relax with the ones you love. The amount of respect I have for you is undeniable. I have wished to be as cool as you, as funny as you, as lovable as you for ages, and I hope one day i’ll get there.
I’ve definitely gone through some bad times, and I know I can’t relate to you, but I hope that you can recover well and strike back strong into the hearts of those of us who love you.
I’m not expecting a response or anything, all I hope for is just knowing in my heart that this may make you feel even a little bit better. I don’t want to try and peer into your life, all I want is you to stay happy.
