I am assisting my sister with her application for the NDIS. We had someone come and do her functional capacity assessment but we can’t get the report until we pay for it and it’s $880. Does anyone know of any charities or community organizations that we could contact to try and get some funds to help with the cost?

Just got offered a job offshore and I have to take a medical exam and an FCE. How hard are these to pass? Taking these next week, so I’m trying to get a feel for if I’m screwed or not.

I assumed since its an extrinsic restrictive disease it'd impair lung expansion (inspiration) and not the ability of it to squeeze air out. Could any of you please try help me out here?

Sorry, I am new to Python and Manim so this probably a bit basic and I'm hoping someone can help me. I am trying to animate a visualisation of linear regression and I want to animate residuals showing the distance of points from a line, here is a minimal repreoducible example:

How can I plot (preferably dashed) residuals such that when lin_graph1 transforms into lin_graph2 then the residuals update? (Preferably staying animated onto the line for the replacement transform as well)

Can a Functional Capacity test result in my disability % getting lowered?

I really want to get a roadshower so I can go surfing and have a hot shower for myself and a couple of my buddies. And go camping for 2 or 3 days and get quick showers.

What's the functional capacity of each of the roadshower units from those who actually have one? The 4 looks great but may be too small? The 7 may be perfect? The 10 looks way too damn big.

Given a graph G and a feasible flow f, how can I prove that the residual graph has at least one path with minimum residual capacity (f* - f)/m where f* is the maximum possible flow and m is the number of edges. The given hint is -

1. Suppose d is the maximum possible flow in any path in the residual graph.
2. Create the set of vertices reachable from the source with paths with minimum capacities more than d.
3. Relate that cut with (f* - f)

Say the set that I create in point 2 of the hint is S. So anty edge going out of S has capacity at most d. And there can be at most m such edges. Since the total amount of flow I can push from all the edges is f* - f then by Pigeon-Hole principle, there has to be at least one such edge and inductively one such path with minimum capacity (f* - f)/m

My partner is a Surgeon. They told me today that on their team there are 7 slots, but they could only fill 3 of them. On top of that, one person is pregnant so can’t be on call. I was like what the fuck and they said “yeah that’s pretty much what all the teams are like across the country. I always thought anti work wasn’t really affecting “high paying jobs”. Most of the doctors who train here leave for positions abroad where they make more than twice as much and work less than half as much. Add covid on top of that and you have a health service that is crumbling. Even now, with everyone being out, the health service is only giving people their monthly Rotas a day or two before they start. It is very against the law.
