Hey I realize this is a long shot and if this post gets pulled thatβs fine too, but a friend and I are making an album very influenced by Jeff Lynne era Tom Petty and we need our Mike Campbell!
We live in Phoenixville in the Philly suburbs so if youβre interested please DM me.
My SO has driven me nearly out of my mind today. It's been quite cold here recently so he has taken to putting the fridge on a timer so it turns off at night - to save electricity. Today it's much warmer and we had our groceries delivery this morning so the fridge and freezer are quite full. Despite this, he has had the fridge turned off all day. Every time I go into the kitchen I turn it on. Then he turns it off. We've had two screaming rows. I just don't know what to do any more. Right now, I feel like chucking all the food out (I pay for our food and electricity) and just going on hunger strike.
Hello!!
Hope it's ok us posting this here, but we just launched a new podcast where we discuss one album per week, like a book club, but for music, and we chose 'Full Moon Fever' for our ninth episode. We go through track by track and discuss the album, Tom Petty and also The Heartbreakers in general.
We loved digging into it! Would love to know what you guys think of the episode as fans. Hope you enjoy it!
You can find it at here or just search for 'Between The Tracks Podcast' on streaming platforms.
If you listen on Spotify you can hear the full songs in context to the podcast instead of just short snippets and that way the artist get's paid for the streams.

Well kids, things had been quiet for a while here in Sleepy Valley. CNFH was in jail for 90 days and it was bliss. Peaceful. Quiet. No crazy...
Of course, all of that changed when he got home in December. (see older threads below for the full story).
Since his sister now owns his land and house and is paying the bills, CNFH somehow got another illegal car with questionable plates. Though the police have been informed that he's driving without license and insurance, he is still getting away with it on a daily basis. Go figure.
Well, one of the first things he started doing since out on bail is to shoot his gun again on every Friday night after dark, repeatedly. According to the laws of our state, he's not supposed to even own a firearm while out on bail for a felony but... whatever. Not getting enough attention, he took a baseball bat to our neighbor's mailbox a few days ago. (This is why we have a P.O. Box.) OF course, since he's a mile from our place and 1/2 a mile from the neighbors, nobody caught him in the act, but we know, CNFH, we know.
Then a few days later, apparently our other neighbors heard him down there yelling and screaming bloody murder into the wind. Then gunshots. Then silence.
Suicide? Oh, could we be so lucky? So, she calls the police. They arrive and - according to them - CNFH says that we (my partner and I) snuck into his house while he was out getting firewood and stole his phone. So, stupidly, they decided - BASED ON ZERO EVIDENCE OF SAID INCIDENT - to come up here and disturb us and snoop around.
We hear a loud bang on the door and "Sheriff's Department!!!" and so responded. They asked about this B.S. story and of course we laughed and said "Nope, we've been eating dinner and watching TV. Sorry you had to come here to find out what you already knew." And so they walked back down the mile-long drive to their cars because, yes, our gate is locked.
When they got back down to his dump, CNFH changed his story. Now he says that our other neighbors were the ones that stole the phone and that we stole some machine parts from his barn. So, dutifully and stupidly, the cops go up the other hill to talk to the other neighbors. Same results. They came back down to his place.
Then (as we found out later) the cops warned CNFH that if he calls with no evidence again they'll arrest him. But why in the actual fuck did they come up to talk to either of us with no evidence based on bullshit from a person with three cases pending for tr
