A list of puns related to "Frenulum of tongue"
Hello! About a week and a half ago I started having a severe tooth pain on my right bottom side in the very back towards where my wisdom tooth is. The pain started to creep towards my bottom front teeth, and has now started causing pain in my back top teeth.
I went to the dentist (a new one I had never seen before) 4 days ago, who took X-Rays and told me he wanted to take my wisdom teeth out right there and then. It was a bad time, and I wasnβt able to have surprise dental surgery due to other circumstances. He told me that I had a tooth infection which had spread to the nerve, causing pain. I was put on antibiotics and that was that.
The pain in my teeth has persisted after a few days on antibiotics, and around two days ago I started to experience a new pain. I am now having a severe pain in my tongue frenulum, with very limited movement and difficulty speaking, swallowing, etc.
The pain is accompanied by an equally severe pain in my submandibular nodes and the area of my thyroid. It is extremely painful and difficult to move my neck, tongue, and jaw and I am also having pain and fullness in my right ear.
I havenβt gone back to the dentist yet, because the dentist I went to see was very dismissive and made no attempt to understand or explain anything that was happening to me.
Could all of these symptoms be related? Am I dealing with multiple issues? Any ideas as to what it could be? The pain is really starting to get to me. I wasnβt prescribed any pain medicine or anything, and as the pain becomes increasingly severe I feel like I donβt know what to do.
TLDR: severe and unrelenting pain in teeth, tongue webbing, jaw, nodes, thyroid area (?) and ear. cannot easily move my tongue, jaw, or neck.
I performed oral sex on a girl yesterday and now I have two swollen bumps on the frenulum of my tongue. Is there any connection between these two things or is it just coincidence?
FYI frenulum is the flesh that connects your tongue to the bottom of your mouth so you don't swallow your tongue
Also, these bumps are sensitive and mildly painful

I got it pierced 4 days ago. My concerns are 1) The barbell seems too short and does not give room for swelling 2) It is pierced too far back and/or too low near my salivary glands. I have been brushing my teeth more than twice a day and using non-alcoholic mouthwash religiously after I eat/drink. Since the days after I got it pierced, it didnβt hurt, it wasnβt sore, and it didnβt swell. BUT, the web piercings online look much higher with a longer barbell. Any advice? Thanks yall. < 3
If anyone has one can you tell me about the healing process, pain amount, or advice for getting one :)
This hasn't happened before so I'm a little in the dark, It doesn't seem like a cold sore, but could it be? I was with this girl last Tuesday and we had kissed that night, Wednesday my tongue was fine with no pain at all. But Thursday I got a little dentist work done and my tongue was definitely moved around by my dentist.
Thursday night was when the pain finally started and since then that piece under my tongue has been sore and a bit irritated and it seems more painful today than it was yesterday. Here's a picture. https://imgur.com/FOen1RQ Any insight whether or not I should get it checked out or not would be greatly appreciated
http://imgur.com/gFXTb About a week ago i woke up and there where two identical lumps on either side of the bottom of my frenulum. Then a few days later a sore came up above it. A day before i had oral sex aswell, is this something to do with it? although its never happened before. Its kinda worrying me now, it hasn't changed in a week. Would love it redditor healthcare professionals or people that have experienced it might be able to give me some idea what the lumps are.
Hi guys,
Almost a month ago I've torn my frenulum. Now I have a small non-flexible white scar on the same area. However my frenulum wasn't short.
Do you think it can tear again on the same area ? Can I stretch it to make it more flexible ? Can I break fibrosis with any kind of cream ?
Thanks
I have read it is very common in people with EDS to have complete absence/ hypoplasia of the lingual frenulum.
So I always thought I had phimosis. Did the stretching exercises and it got better. I can retract easily when soft, just struggled when hard.
Bought phimocure, and struggled to get the rings to fit and it almost seemed like I didn't have enough foreskin.
I looked a bit more last night and whilst I've never been able to retract when erect, I seemed to notice a piece of skin connecting the head to the shaft of my penis. It doesn't look horrendous, but definitely looks restrictive.
Planning on going to the doctor next week after 3 years of "umm"ing and "ahh"ing as I am fairly confident that bit of skin needs the chop. Anyone been in a similar position?
Hi, this is my first time post my here and I have a quick question. Iβve been restoring for a while now, pretty slowly and inconsistently though. Iβve started doing it more consistently but Iβve noticed that the skin on the leftover foreskin on the underneath side of my penis is thicker than the skin on the dorsal side (top) of the penis. Is this normal and is there anyway to make this skin thinner? It creates a pretty unappealing look because the skin is so thick.
I had a frenuloplasty about 2 months ago and honestly orgasms still feel like shit. Like a mild feeling of release in a very small area. How important is frenulum to orgasm? I still have phimosis too and frenulum is now just scar tissue. I have the occasional good orgasm now but most are shit. Not sure how much is physiological vs actual frenulum impact as i always think about it in a negative manner during masturbation- BUT i dont even know if that should impact. Objectively when thinking how orgasm feels during the moment it is a shit feeling. Thanks
As title says. I'm 16, and making progress, but I'm worried that my frenulum is much shorter than it ought to be.
When I expose my glans (flaccid), it's tugging down and stretching surface of my glans with the urethra opening on it. I don't think I would be able to retract my foreskin comfortably while erect, even if my foreskin became loose enough to admit it, because of this.
After a quick search, I think I have frenulum breve as well as a tight foreskin. What should I do, except continue trying to stretch all of it?
I've been stretching for 3 weeks now and have made a fair bit of progress. However, I've noticed that my foreskin stretches a little weird. It seems to stretch more on the right that the left. I have some pictures in case you guys need to know more.
More info : I can pull my foreskin back completely when flaccid, but the above happens only when I'm erect. Also, I visited a Urologist and he insisted that I only have Phimosis and not Frenulum Breve. However, I feel that I do have a short Frenulum
It has completely ruined me mentally. Masturbating to porn and whether it will feel as it did prior to this operation is completely pot luck. Sometimes i can have incredible orgasms, othertimes very underwhelming. Every time i masturbate this operation is in the back of my mind so can't even fully relax mentally. I am so sorry to those who are circumcised- i have my foreskin and technically an elongated frenulum but it obviously dosen't function as it was meant to now. Never came from a BJ, never came in under 4 mins from sex (VERY ODD WITH A FORESKIN, MOST LAST 2 MINS OR SO). What does this mean? It means my frenulum has been butchered. Frenulum> foreskin any day of the week.
- frenulum is the ejaculatory response signal- This is my biggest regret in life by FAR and people thinking about foregen are missing the point. Unless you're about 12/13 now you';ll be way post prime by the time its out. I'll be 40 minimum at a guess, 23 now. How horrifying to waste my entire youth will a penis without a proper frenulum
As you might have guessed, I'm a circumcised man. I was born in America about two decades ago, and back then, everyone believed that doing that was for the best. Only, I found out a few months ago that most of the world does not agree and that a small but extremely vocal group on the internet even claims that being circumcised completely cripples sexual enjoyment. Now, I can't really believe that because, while I am still a virgin, i have been able to get some pretty intense pleasure by jerking off in the past.
However, me saying that foreskin doesn't matter because I've never felt the need for one is like a blind man saying that sight doesn't matter. I've done some research on the alleged effects that being circumcised has on sexual pleasure, and the one that really concerns me is the loss of Frenulum, that flap of tissue on the bottom of the penis that runs from the bottom of the Glans down the shaft until it eventually sort of fans out. Only, on me, it's not so much as flap as it is a narrow slightly raised seam that runs from the glans to the scar.
I've heard a lot of people say that it's the epicenter of male pleasure during sex, but then again, most of those people were hardcore anti-circumcision activists. I tried examining my seam, and noticed a unique texture close to the seam, where I could sometimes feel a sensual touch or a modestly pleasing stretched-out feeling, it is likewise noticeable during erection, but perhaps more importantly, i noticed that the seam has a tendency of pulling on the bottom-middle point of the back of the Glans, where it is most sensitive. I assume that a full Frenulum would create a similar effect but more so, and this is the crux of what I want to know. How much of the sensation attributed to the Frenulum actually occurs within that tissue itself, and how much is due to it helping to stimulate other parts of the penis. And is the sensation uniform throughout the whole thing or does it vary?
I've seen a lot of accounts online of people who got circumcised as adults and reported no loss of pleasure, but a lot of those mentioned that the Frenulum was left in place for their procedure, which is why I'm only really concerned about that particular part.
I've been in a pretty tough emotional place over the past few months because of this, viewing myself as less than a man compared to people from Germany or Canada, or my own best friend who happens to be uncut by chance, and all the stuff you can read about how the pr
... keep reading on reddit β‘I just had an adult circumcision at 22 (let's get it out of the way, yes I tried steroid cream, no it didn't work after months, yes I got a lot of consultation, it's done, let's not turn this into a pro- and anti-circumcision thread like I've seen while searching for a solution) and it's about a week after, and I can get an erection without any pain really, and if I'm very careful, can even masturbate.
My problem is though, on one side of the frenulum, the skin is noticeably lesser and gets tighter before I hit my prior length, meaning that I'm shorter and on the other side of my penis, there's a lot of loose skin because it's not my old length yet. It's very annoying, since it means it's actually harder to maintain an erection, knowing I'm not at 'full-mast'.
I was wondering if the skin would stretch out naturally in time as my recovery progresses, so that my penis isn't so asymmetrical, or even if (ironically) application of some of the steroid cream would aid in its stretching faster. Has this happened to anyone else?
I try to find information online but the top results just say foreskin is an extra piece of skin and don't mention any specific parts of it
I have a tight frenulum that has slightly tore in the past before which prevented me from having any sexual activity for a month.
Iβm thinking about having a simple surgery (frenuloplasty) to cut it off, and have seen a urologist before who agreed to it.
Does anyone have any knowledge about this type of procedure? Also, my foreskin is a bit tight and when I pull it below my glans, it sort of βcinchesβ my shaft. To be honest, that has made me want to get an adult circumcision.
Thoughts appreciated!
I hear they're gonna give him a really tough sentence.
Guys, help me out here. I can't remember the name of this old action movie. Bilbo Baggins has to stop a terrorist plot and save his wife in the Nakatomi Towers. Oh, that's it.
Old Hobbits Die Hard.
At birth, I was circumcised at what could be called a 'V' circumcision. My frenulum was completely removed and outer skin was shaped in a 'V' shape going all the way to the urethra. Needless to say I have little to no mucosa on the ventral (bottom) side of my penis with a medium and loose circumcision. I am at a CI-3. I may have about a millimeter of mucosa underneath the tip.
Should I worry about trying to restore ventral mucosa or just focus on distal to bring my scar line forward? To give more perspective, my scar is about 1/2 further away from my tip on the dorsal side than the ventral side. Should I worry about ventral mucosa once my dorsal scar is higher? Does anyone else have this circumcision style?
Hi everyone, I'm interested in hearing some people's experiences with removal of their frenulum:
For men who were circumcised as adults, was your frenulum removed? Did your doctor have any recommendation regarding this, was it your choice, etc? Was there any change in sensation in that area?
Are there any uncircumcised men here who only had their frenulum removed without getting a full circumcision? Any change in sensation?
Are there any circumcised men here who had their frenulum removed separately from their original circumcision? Any change in sensation?
Here's why I'm asking: My circumcision was done before puberty, and it only removed the skin closer to the base rather than the inner foreskin. I'm in my 20s now, and my frenulum has always hurt a bit during sex. Sometimes it's bruised and irritated for over a day after sex. I've read that the frenulum is supposed to be removed in circumcision, but I've also read that it's the male g-spot. I assume that getting my frenulum removed would solve the pain, but would I lose too much sensitivity? Does the pleasure come from the frenulum itself, or just that area? Is it even worth the money and pain at this point?
i said "dude you're bleeding" ended up being me. FUCK anyway im horrified. my god it was horrible it's like i sacrificed a goat on him holy sheeeet. i need more horror about shit like this to make me feel better.
I've posted here earlier telling about my medical circumcision, where the doctor removed my frenulum completely, instead of doing frenuloplasty, as I thought he would do. Now that my penis has healed a bit, I'm able to tell that I still have about 2,3-2,5cm of inner skin left and I'm able to cover about half of my glans when flacid. This is good news right? So my question is that how significant the loss of frenulum is if I still have good amount of inner skin left and I'm able to keep my glans somewhat covered? Is it likely to affect much in my sex life later on? for the last six weeks after the operation I have been very upset and worried about loss of frenulum and foreskin. Have I been over-reacting, or is the loss of frenulum a complete disaster, taking in to account that I'm still able to keep my glans&inner skin partially safe?
Iβm 19f, no medications. Iβve been talking to my friend and I found out she has a frenulum at the bottom of her mouth and I donβt but then I googled it and apparently everyone is supposed to have one? I donβt have one and never realised people do, help?
So i (16M) tried out this technique called the frenulum swirl. But after doing the swirl stuff for an hour i couldnt reach orgasm and my dick went completely flacid. Was i doing something wrong or did i just have to continue?(i did experience the build ups to orgasming 2 times)
Hello π
Im a 25 years old guy from Germany. I was partially circumcised when I was 5 years old.
So.. Now I wanna restore my foreskin.
I use the DTR and the TLC.
But there is always quiet a bit tension on the frenulum.
MY QUESTION: is there anyone who was experience with a similar situation like mine..?!
Btw i have like 85% of my foreskin..
God bless π
Like if the AIDs is supposed to be transferred in the microbiome of the foreskin, then why even bother removing parts if the frenulum much less the part on the glans?
